Chicken's lay a lot of egg's , they also make up part of the human diet . Now Chicken's have made it on the news from thanks to some remarks by the owner and founder of one the American fast-food chain bitter rival of Kentucky Fried Chicken . I for one never heard of Chick-fil-A up until now. Here is what drove the news to sensationalize the fast food joint . From a statement from Dan Cathy,their CEO who was asked about position to his company's "support of the traditional family." He replied: "Well, guilty as charged."[51][52] Cathy continued:
"We are very much supportive of the family — the biblical definition of the family unit. We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that. ... We want to do anything we possibly can to strengthen families. We are very much committed to that," Cathy emphasized. "We intend to stay the course," he said. "We know that it might not be popular with everyone, but thank the Lord, we live in a country where we can share our values and operate on biblical principles."[51]
Well OK, don't we have a right to our opinions ? For Dan it was brave , but such belief's now convey but their interpretation of biblical principles as part of bigoted hate speech. You have to remember that the Chick-fil-A restaurant chain is owned by a Mormon . They are for family values , it is important to realize that the "backlash of hate and criticism" is protected by the freedom of speech and religious freedom just as much as Mr. Cathy's remarks.Calling the words or actions of either side in this debate "hate and criticism" hardly seems fair--both sides are standing up for and stating what they believe. The "kiss in" at the Chick-fil-A's nation wide protests. Who cares ? This whole news story is full of nonsense it deserves the criticism of a consumerist first . Since Dan Cathy expressed his opinion , and going viral the restaurant chain has made publicity , and may have doubled it's earnings . The kiss in's attract the curious , the supporters come in and eat. What a way to save a fledgling restaurant chain. ***

I know that times have changed to a degree that society has to except 'gays' and their lifestyle . I for that part don't care for the lifestyle . As much as it's now being flaunted by the American media , homosexuality remains pornographic , and deserves to stay in the bed room along with other heterosexual acts . (Remember Madonna kissing Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera ) .
***By noon Wednesday the line at the Chick-fil-A at the Burlington Mall (the closest location to Boston) was more than 40 people long. Some were wearing shirts with “Liberty,” “U.S.A.” or “God bless America” written on them. One elderly man was handing out religious pamphlets titled “If Jesus came to your house” to those in line before mall security asked him to stop.
David Gernhard, who works near the mall, said he stops at the restaurant about once or twice a month because he likes the chicken sandwiches, but said he made it a point to eat lunch there Wednesday. He said he supports the company’s right to locate in Boston despite the opinions of its president.
“It’s a great sandwich,” said Gernhard, “and I support property rights.”
