THE HOT CLIMATE . RE ~HASH .

The Climate Clock in New York
City’s Union Square in early July 2023.

Today is the five-year anniversary of a climate prediction amplified by activist Greta Thunberg in a now-deleted tweet. Thunberg supported the position that “climate change will wipe out all of humanity unless we stop using fossil fuels over the next five years.” Earlier this year, media outlets noted that Thunberg deleted the tweet as today’s anniversary drew closer. In fairness, climate change will lead to more extreme weather, in both directions. We could be in for some extremely harsh winters, too! Yeah, but we got so much snow that LIKE (1)>I’m about to go skiing at Mammoth in California on July 5th . That proves global warming is a myth RIGHT ????Uh, el niño will start in the southern hemisphere late spring/early summer, so like october... the record heat you are experiencing now is just the absence of La niña. (end strike) [As a comment below points out, El Niño indeed started earlier than expected and than usual, I am wrong, they are right, my apologies for the mistake]That and the upward curve of the climate broiler. (2)>>It gets worse for the next 30 years in the best case scenario, we are currently emitting more than the worst case scenario modelled for the 2020s. I got to thinking yesterday, I wonder if people themselves are contributing to global warming. I mean, you'd think with several billion people on the planet all that combined body heat would eventually raise the temperature a little, not much though, but maybe a couple of degrees. My solution to Global Warming? WELL  (3)>>THE GLOBALISTS WANT to Kill Everyone. That's NOT  my solution for everything though. There are too many people on this planet, we need NOT  more death. Anything that kills people is NOT  fine with me. 2000 something people dead in the WTC? NOT Good. No one I know was there, so why should I care? We need a few more bombings and natural disasters. OK WE NEED TO SAVE THE FUCKING PLANET.The world has less than six years left to hit crucial global climate goals, according to the clock.  (3.1)>>It might be GLOBAL WARMING that will do us in , perhaps UFOs , or Russia -China - Ukraine wars .  I wrote about this in 2017 regarding the fuss,  (4)>>The Climate Clock shows how much time is left before continued CO2 emissions lock in at least 1.5 degrees of global warming, a key threshold for global climate goals under the Paris agreement.  .   (5)>>BUT hay it's 2023  nothing has changed. For the most part of it we have very warm summers , what they call Indian summers were last year it reached 108F where I lived .It’s just by when the current best science says we will have emitted too much CO2 to be able to limit warming to 1.5C (or have a 2/3 chance of doing so, I forget). So it’s a somewhat arbitrary marker, but when getting things done you need deadlines. Since there is no actual hard marker to distinguish between success and failure; safety and disaster, goals need to be decided upon. There is no way the 1.5C goal will be reached, it was always just a fantasy. Our most probable achievable goal is 2C, and that is quite optimistic. The developing world wants our standard of living. They will not stop building coal power plans if we just ask them nicely not to. Ironically, most developed countries will also be the ones suffering the most because of the climate change. (6)>>HAVE always said that WE HAVE ALWAYS HAD THIS KINDA WEATHER. Science has the  Carbon Dioxide evidence to show  ,  The truth is, it’s actually the other way around: as CO2 has increased, deaths from extreme weather have increased. Too much of it could be STRANGE .  Too less of it could be STRANGER ! You'll have people saying  " ah the strange weather ..." . Yes, the weather has been vary off beat since a long time . I could guess that the build up of Green house gases like Carbon Dioxide and Methane . Of course, we'd then have to acknowledge that there are things about climate change and its causes we really don't know. And assuming there are things we might have done to mitigate climate change. This agenda is being pushed by the WEF, glad not everyone is drinking the koolaide. This is not the first climate clock, however. The first one was officially launched in September, 2020, in Times Square, New York City, New York; with monument-sized Clocks installed in London; Prague, Czech Republic; Rome, Italy; Seoul, South Korea; and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Climate Cult activists such as Greta Thunberg also carry pocket-sized clocks with them as well.  (7)>>One of Thunberg’s prophecies, that the world would cease to exist in 5 years, was supposed to occur last week but did not, leading to Thunberg quietly deleting her tweet. More climate alarmism as usual, though, however, these psychos led by the spirit of Satan and children of leviathan are going to keep trying to destroy more of this planet, and ultimately try and destroy more of us in the process.

NOTES AND COMMENTS:  (1)>> I’m about to go skiing at Mammoth in California on July 5th. The world's average temperature reached a new high on Monday 3 July, topping 17 degrees Celsius for the first time.US researchers said the new record was the highest in any instrumental record dating back to the end of the 19th century.Scientists believe a combination of a natural weather event known as El Niño and mankind's ongoing emissions of carbon dioxide are driving the heat.Last month has also been confirmed as the world's warmest June yet recorded. (2)>>It gets worse for the next 30 years in the best case scenario,.> Earth is not defenseless. It will pop the human race like a pimple on> a Dinosaur's butt soon enough.Just wait until all the interlocking, synergistic, vicious cycles really start getting cranked up. -out of control population growth(this is the big one-the problem that makes all the others worse) -water shortages,droughts,overuse,pollution -unraveling ecosystems(fisheries being the main one) -global warming -desertification,depleted farmlands -petroleum depletion There are more, but those listed above are sufficient to do us in. And now, the downward spiral- First, the price of oil spikes, leading to a serious recession. Local water shortages become more severe, leading to unrest and conflict between countries that share water supplies. Drought(made worse by global warming),desertification, and farmland loss cause food price spikes and more unrest. Various important species become unavailable as ecosystems are exhausted. Meanwhile, the overall population continues to boom, although there are local die offs. Spot shortages of oil appear, leading to rationing and driving the world close to depression. Food is still readily available in the rich countries, but prices are rapidly rising and big food producing countries cut back on their exports. Outright war breaks out in certain areas over water supplies. Disease and starvation start to significantly dent the population growth rate. Chronic oil shortages permanently drive down the world economic output. Problems due to global warming are pervasive. Food shortages and starvation are endemic. Whole ecosystems give up the ghost. Massive unrest finally topples the House of Saud, and the US sends in the troops. Radicals sabotage the oilfields and you can write your own sci-fi apocalypse from here. What's the timeline for the shit/fan event? I wouldn't be surprised if some of the really bad stuff starts happening in as little as 5-10 years. I think alarm bells are already ringing, but no one seems to be listening. You know, this could actually be quite a pleasant little mudball,IF IT WEREN'T FOR ALL THESE GODDAMNED MONKEYS THROWING SHIT EVERYWHERE!.(3)>>THE GLOBALISTS WANT to Kill Everyone. The Globalist elites, the billionaires, want to turn the world into their playground. At the moment, they can't create bloody violence reality shows that allow death and torture. Well, if they want to do it, they have to reduce the public's sense of the intrinsic value of human lives. We take that for granted for centuries, well it wasn't like this even just a few hundred years back, and even in current days we still can see slavery, child labour and organ harvesting in Congo, China etc. In order to reduce the public's sense of the intrinsic value of human lives, they need to convince the public. They are pushing woke agenda, making young children confused about their motives, their genders, their social life, and even reality. It's always better to work on people who are very confused than to work on people who aren't. Slowly taking away the qualities of every individual human being so that we worth less. It is appalling how gullible people are. Electricity, cars, travel & food choices are going to be something only the wealthy can afford .They are looking for a greatly depopulated World that only they can enjoy the benefits of. A declining uneducated, unhealthy underclass not needed to serve their needs will be locked out & left to fend for themselves . (3.1)>>It might be GLOBAL WARMING that will do us in, perhaps UFOs , or Russia -China - Ukraine wars .  The war demonstrates how “climate change is a threat multiplier,” Mr. Kerry said in an interview .Yea, but thanks to you FOOL !  Climate change is the perfect scam for leftist elites to oppress people. Charlie Kirk has a shocking breakdown of the actual facts of climate change vs the ones the climate alarmists “predict” and “attribute” the weather too. “Do you like the planet”? “You do?” “Ok good, then you’ll do exactly as we tell you to, and give up all your freedoms and liberties or else the world will end in 5 years , of you” and idiots fall for this crap lol. “Climate denier!!” Ya ok buddy, beat it, move along.  BUT THESE CLIMATE PEOPLE LOVE WAR. They found that a total of 120 million metric tons of planet-heating pollution can be attributed to the first 12 months of the UKRAINE war, according to the report published. HELLO SLEEPY JOE !!!That's equivalent to the annual emissions of Belgium, or those produced by nearly 27 million gas-powered cars on the road for a year. Bill Gates buys farmland, Biden’s billionaires push unless green vehicles/energies because of created high fossil fuel prices, and fertilizer companies blame COVID, Climate Change, and Ukraine’s war for fertilizer shortages over the next three years.  (4)>>The Climate Clock shows how much time is left . Is this clock even a good indicator of anything? Or is it like the Doomsday Clock which has been roundly criticized as being reductionist and inaccurate? I always thought hard-and-fast timelines like these were criticized because climate change isn’t like a bomb going off that can be predicted down to the minute. Rather, it’s a cascade of different events which can be difficult to predict or fully understand until more data emerges. Like, I always think of these timers as giving people unrealistic expectations about how climate change presents itself while ramping up anxiety in a way that may not necessarily be helpful.(5)>>BUT hay it's 2023  nothing has changed. Because we just got done roundly fucking a country for 20 years before succeeding  it to a group of theocratic despots? America isn't just the kid with its hand in the cookie jar, it has a repeated and ongoing history of neo-colonialism and warfare with the US/Ukraine narrative moving hard into the 'American Exceptionalism' schtick. If that isn't bad enough, no one's head rolls after they commit treason, after they sour peace talks for re-election, Nixon never even did the perp walk AFAIK despite Vietnam being a genocide.Yeah its not exactly symmetrical and will be all over the place. We've had flash floods and rain like crazy in New England this summer for example, and I don't remember ever having the sky be smoke from wildfires like this in my lifetime.  NOW the sky has been smoking from Canadian wildfires way too often.IT's likely that the fires are ARSON.  Not to mention the fact that my allergies have been worse this year than I've ever experienced. Not to mention the humidity is disgusting, the insects are swarming, etc. I'm engaging in doomerism, because fuck this shit. It's the worst, and only going to get worse. I need to go live in the frozen tundra.(6)>>HAVE always said that WE HAVE ALWAYS HAD THIS KINDA WEATHER. While it’s worrisome, for me the summers have always been hot . I Can't recollect that any summer was hot , even this hot. Time magazine, April 8, 1977, featured a photo of a penguin and spotlighted the story “How To Survive the Coming Ice Age.”While unusual weather patterns have always come and gone, in a changing climate extreme weather events will become more frequent. That might lead people to underestimate the extent of global warming, given that it has already caused extreme temperature changes. If you were born after 1976, for example, the Earth has been warmer than the 20th century average every year of your life (though local temperatures vary). This is no longer an excuse not to act on climate change and push the burden onto future generations. Last year, the world’s leading climate scientists warned we only have 12 years to limit global warming to a maximum of 1.5C and avoid climate breakdown.  The hottest day on record is weather. The average temperature during the summer over the past 100 years is climate. I often hear people speak to the weather instead of climate, and it really muddies the whole conversation. And then I hear “Oh, well climate change has made the storms more powerful”. And from a scientific perspective it makes sense, I don’t disagree. But HOW much more powerful? 10%? 300%? I’m not sure if they really can calculate that (how would they be able to falsify the claim?)(7)>>One of Thunberg’s prophecies, that the world would cease to exist in 5 years,. Greta's tweet wasn't saying that humanity would be wiped out by the end of the five years, it was saying that we needed to stop using fossil fuels within the next five years. i.e. it was predicting that we could pass irreversible "tipping points" if nothing was done. In other words we would be set on a path which would EVENTUALLY wipe out humanity. This prediction could still come true. i.e. it may already be too late.Thunberg is claiming her point was misinterpreted, but any way you look at it, the climate cartel is dead wrong — again — about the fate of humanity. In fact, there’s almost nothing about the climate change movement that stands up to science.Since Thunberg’s fatalist tweet, climate rhetoric has risen to a fever pitch, but fossil fuel usage hasn’t dipped at all. Nationwide oil, natural gas, and coal consumption last year was about equal to annual averages from the 2010s..The bottom line: Human influence on climate is "theoretically" expected, and calculated to be appreciable by current climate models, but in reality human influence is so small it may not be detectable at all. It is impossible to measure the average surface temperature of the earth, yet scientists try to claim that it is possible to measure “anomalies” of this unknown quantity. This hasn’t stopped motivated fear mongering scam artists from manufacturing climate catastrophes in order to impose costly regulatory restrictions and taxes on energy use and other human activities, because that's what they're paid to do... with your money.

NATO DICTATORSHIP .

NATO,  the Military Alliance should not exist at all now.
It's long gone Soviet Iron Curtain was dissolved
30 years ago .  NATO is basically now a Dictatorship
ruled by the American Military Industrial Complex ,
its Dictator is Joe Biden.
Fear and propaganda can go a long way!

(1)>>THE BIGGEST FARCE in the world right now is NATO .  So this week , VILNIUS, July 12 (Reuters) -  (1.2 )>>U.S. President Joe Biden concluded a NATO summit denouncing Russian President Vladimir Putin as "craven" and promising Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy full support even without membership in the military alliance. This looked like a interesting stunt by my observation . It reveals a lot about NATO , it's alliance . Only countries NATO is good for are the small European ones, and even for them it would be better if they strengthened their ties with Russia, at least in my opinion . First it's a farce , second it's nothing but a petty dictatorship ruled by the U.S. government with its own dictator current President Joe Biden .Capping the two-day meeting of NATO leaders in Lithuania,   (2)>>on Russia's doorstep, Biden praised the people of the formerly Soviet-occupied country while heralding the addition of Finland to the alliance and the prospective admission of neighbour Sweden.. . Pretty much Biden sounded more and more not like a standing US President that is out for the interests of the American people , but more and more like some petty dictator with some military alliance trying to drum up the  (3)>>EU nations for more support for the Proxy war against Russia , using Ukraine .Biden, who has made unifying NATO countries a foreign policy priority, said Putin had badly underestimated their resolve. "NATO is stronger, more energized and yes, more united than ever in its history. Indeed, more vital to our shared future. It didn't happen by accident. It wasn't inevitable," Biden said to thousands of people at Vilnius University, many of them cheering him on with Lithuanian and American flags."When Putin, and his craven lust for land and power, unleashed his brutal war on Ukraine, he was  (4)>>betting NATO would break apart... He thought our unity would shatter at the first testing. He thought democratic leaders would be weak. But he thought wrong." Biden's speech aimed to rally allies and showcase his role on the world stage ahead of a 2024 re-election campaign focused on healing divisions at home and abroad. Sweden's entry to NATO comes as Turkey, which once opposed the admission, is due to get F-16 fighter jets from the United States. SO  i'm NOT IN  support of helping ukraine but isn't putting missiles capable of reaching into Russia literally asking for  (5)>>WW3? I mean, what if Russia put missiles on any part outside of the US? we literally have the monroe doctrine that says this is an act of WAR against the US if someone arms any part of the
US President Dictator of
NATO

Americas (South America for instance). my point is , by our  (6)>>OWN standard, we have already declared war on Russia and should not be surprised if Russia retaliates. if we're going nuclear, then the public should know that we have agreed as a nation to face the reality of WW3 and the possible massive loss of life across the United States for the next few generations.
In other words, from Belarus, to Georgia, to Ukraine, and Serbia, the US has been insidiously overthrowing governments not through outright military aggression, but through covert military, political, and intelligence operations aimed at manipulating elections and overrunning regimes that refuse to accept the subsequently skewed results. NATO has an agenda as well. You can’t possibly think they’ll just “leave” Ukraine without starting a military occupation to “safeguard the people” or installing a puppet government to “help local officials keep the peace”. I mean whoever wins, we’re watching the gutting of one of the last truly sovereign nations left in the east  Surely, then, regimes resulting from such a practice are not then  (7)>>“voluntarily” joining NATO – and NATO is surely expanding itself through a campaign of insidious, violent, lawless subversion of sovereign nations, one at a time with Ukraine once again in its sights. “NATO” military installations, which they had dishonestly claimed only existed to counterbalance the Soviet Union.  When Russian leaders pointed out that NATO expansion was in violation of specific US promises not to move NATO “one inch east”, US reps essentially replied that if anyone is stupid enough to expect them to honor their word, that is their problem – a point impossible to contest.  (8)>>The idea of a  US naval base in the Ukraine/ Crimea as a member of NATO  must be the probably the "cause" of what seems to Russia's retaliation to gain control of that region . I would ponder how would the American government feel if the Russian's established a base near us? That's what is  behind the push to protect the naval base lies a much more abstract and deep-seated Russian interest: the expansion of Russian influence and policy throughout Eastern Europe, and keeping it out of the hands of the West. Ever since the breakup of the Soviet Union,  (9)>>Ukraine has been a weak link in Russia's defenses against the West. I'm not even sure if the war in Ukraine it's about this. I don't trust any side to provide truthful information. I don't think a war between NATO and Russia-China would be anything else than a catastrophic nuclear confrontation. (10)>>The whole Ukraine war is WEIRD , it's been GOING ON SINCE 2014 , suddenly just after the  (11)>>DISASTROUS WITHDRAWAL of AFGHANISTAN UKRAINE seems to be now the spotlight of throwing taxpayer money at.  The US acts in the interest of war suppliers, not in the interests of it's people. What mother wants her son to go and lose his arm/ leg or even life in some shithole like Vietnam, Afghanistan or Iran. Must be nice always being worried if you are going to step in a punji trap or a landmine today or tomorrow.  The U.S. will do what all nations do, which is act in it's own self interest. What needs to happen is the rest of the world stop expecting the way America acts to be done in a way they agree with, and like you said rely on themselves more. The first time you criticize the U.S. for warmongering, fine, yea we deserve it.  (12)>>After 17 years it's like...bomb and invade another country. NATO exists for US hegemony and vassal control on one hand and a transfer vehicle for public money to private pockets on the other.

I think Gorbachev would disagree..M.G.: The topic of “NATO expansion” was not discussed at all, and it wasn’t brought up in those years. I say this with full responsibility. Not a singe Eastern European country raised the issue, not even after the Warsaw Pact ceased to exist in 1991. Western leaders didn’t bring it up, either. Another issue we brought up was discussed: making sure that NATO’s military structures would not advance and that additional armed forces from the alliance would not be deployed on the territory of the then-GDR after German reunification. Baker’s statement, mentioned in your question, was made in that context. Kohl and [German Vice Chancellor Hans-Dietrich] Genscher talked about it.

NOTES AND COMMENTS:  (1)>>THE BIGGEST FARCE in the world right now is NATO.  NATO had it's purpose in the 40s and 50s when the USSR and crazy Stalin were in power, to keep America in Europe, Russia out of it and Germany weak. But the days of nuclear annihilation ( from the Soviet Union at least) are long gone, and continuing to see Russia as the big scary enemy of democracy and freedom is very counterproductive, especially when countries like Turkey and Saudi Arabia are US allies.Second argument is that only purpose of NATO is to feed the military industrial complex by making bigger and bigger investments in military technology mandatory, when that money could be well spent on bolstering the economy and helping people.I won't even mention that NATO broke international law by bombing Serbia in '99 without UN approval or how Americana uses every stupid excuse like "weapons of mass destruction" or " spreading of democracy" to go to war and destabilize and destroy entire countries and kill thousands of civilians in drone strikes.(1.2 )>>U.S. President Joe Biden concluded a NATO summit denouncing Russian President Vladimir Putin. Ukraine proxy war ended the pandemic, because a new money printing opportunity presented itself and it was less intrusive and destructive to our economy than COVID money printing was.Now that the Ukraine war is likely going to end with a loss for Ukraine -- what will the politicians do to ensure endless money printing and corrupt spending to line their pockets?I'm super worried. They are talking about a war with China but I think there is resistance to such a crazy idea within the Pentagon itself.I am super worried they may do another scam-demic in 2024 to ensure Biden wins the Presidency.. as well as to have an excuse to steal more money. Please tell me I am crazy and should not worry. There are a few things I can see happening before Election Day 2024, none of which are good and everything will be used to ensure a D in the White House. I don’t think Biden will last that long, again there’s a few ways that could go too.Zelenskyy will drag more countries into the fight before he admits defeat, maybe another wayward missile into Poland or something.American war with Russia, US fighting troops in Ukraine, not just the ‘advisers’ and technicians we have now. I’m thinking some kind of FDR situation, I know B won’t live that long but they may stuff in a new puppet last minute.China invades Taiwan, we screwed in a multitude of ways if/when this happens. America doesn’t really make much steel anymore, chips, drugs, clothes, and a lot of food(meat in particular) all from China.A new and improved pandemic.  2030 and the Great Reset are just two and a half presidential cycles away. The uni-party has a lot of work to do to usher it in.(2)>>on Russia's doorstep.  Don't forget that Joe Biden is barking hostilities on the doorstep of Russia .Pope Francis on  said that NATO's 'barking' at Russia’s door might have resulted in President Vladimir Putin launching a military offensive in Ukraine. The pontiff stated that he does not think Russia's anger was 'provoked,' adding that it might have however been "facilitated" by the West's approach to initiating the invasion of Ukraine. In his interview with Corriere Della Sera, Pope Francis offered to visit Moscow to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin to bring peace between the two warring nations. Instigated by Biden the NATO's "barking". US triggered the disaster of millions of Ukrainians and the good for nothing comedian leader is acting villain fell for the trap. He instead of fighting his war with his Army he involved gullible innocent citizens and lead them to the graves. Who benefitted NONE..still more to come and Ukraine will be wiped out of the map if the world is not going ACT immediately to condemn it collectively and stop the war It us a planned genocide on innocent Ukrainians . The world alone is responsible for it and the blunder is they are still mute witness to the happenings instead of stopping it. (3)>>EU nations for more support for the Proxy war against Russia .From the looks of the way the Vilnius summit went, I don't think America wants to get dragged into a war in Ukraine itself. It was perfectly happy to supply Ukraine with weapons in the dream to "weaken Russia" which ended up having the opposite effect. It seems to me the Europeans and the USA as well is losing its appetite for this war. I don't think Ukraine will last until the end of the year, to be honest. As for China invading Taiwan.. I am not sure they would do that unless they are provoked. Of course, this administration is so reckless and feckless, they may try and provoke China. What a crazy time to be alive.. really. Lord help us. Europeans like the benefits of Western Hegemony without having to do the dirty work. They benefit from American imperialism, they just don't notice it because they've lived with it as a given for so long they don't realize they have it - things like assured protection against Russian aggression, not having to protect their trade shipments at sea because of the U.S. navy, and America taking steps to mitigate Terrorist influences that also affect WEU.Honestly at this point I want the U.S. to leave nato just to tell the superior Europeans (TM) to fuck off.If America stopped playing world police, the world would be a lot better. And European "superpowers" should do things on their own instead of piggybacking off of the US. You know, while this is a cowardly but pragmatic stance for NATO to take, it probably serves to show the limitations in the minds of some, and also provide a little nudge in the back to Ukraine to speed up their counteroffensive.[ which will never happen ] .(4)>>betting NATO would break apart...  Biden was for this NATO summit to rally the members in support for UKR , but notable was to keep NATO from breaking apart . Now Biden's speech is VERY TYPICAL BS , President Joe Biden accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of having a "craven lust for land and power" on Wednesday, as NATO leaders pledged long-term security assurances for Ukraine. The leaders of the world's most powerful military bloc met in Madrid to discuss the ongoing war in Ukraine. They agreed to provide Ukraine with military and financial assistance, intelligence sharing, and a promise of immediate action if Russia should attack again. Biden said that Putin's "lust for land and power" had led to the deaths of tens of thousands of people and the displacement of millions more. I have to CHUCKLE accusing Putin for lusting for power , when the NATO block head is doing exactly what they are accusing Putin , by expanding NATO . The US war machine is trying to break up Russia , it's goals are to expand NATO , keep it from breaking up . MOST of the EU nations , people want to work in peace with Russia as a member of Europe. Russia is the boogie man in Western Propaganda . Did Russia invade Iraq ? Did Russia bomb and destroy Yugoslavia? If Putin wants to restore the USSR so much, then why didn't he start with easier goals? Like numerous republics with "stan" at the end of the name? Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and so on. Maybe that's not the point after all?(5)>>WW3? I mean. Zelensky had hoped to drag all of Europe into a war with Russia .  I am a bit suspicious what HIS REAL MOTIVES are by NATO MEMBERSHIP '  DON'T TRUST Zelensky ! Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his aides to draw NATO into a military confrontation at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant, and the many falsehoods they have deployed to trigger foreign intervention. This is sad most Americans will go with the narrative when it happens...we are so propagandized. Since the war in Ukraine started the media ramped up their war on information, all narratives on Ukraine switched and we were suddenly presented with a hero, and a villain.Leftists love the Zelensky actor corruption conduit because MSNBC dad says so, if you dont agree blindly you are Putin puppet, no room for nuance. Sadly most Americans are so f'ing stoopid that they can only view the world in confirmation bias vs enemy. Sad to see my country devolve into such tribal, primitive behavior, incapable of deeper consciousness. Perhaps WW3 is the answer to cleanse the dummies of this groupthink and make everyone remember where we came from?  EVEN social media users accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky of attempting to lead the world into a new war over a missile strike that hit Poland and left two individuals dead.He stopped going on about a no-fly zone and aircraft in every daily address immediately after the US promised him significantly more air-defense equipment. So it seems to me he's using this as a negotiating tactic, asking for the most unlikely stretch goal to elicit additional assistance.(6)>>OWN standard, we have already declared war on Russia and should not be surprised if Russia retaliates.  What have Russia & China learned from the US proxy war in Ukraine? US led NATO is toothless. Great at information wars but terrible at real wars against peer competitors NATO training = no results NATO military spending is $1.2 trillion but NATO ran out of ammo within a year. This is a priceless information covering the details about the conditions that lead to the ongoing war situation in Ukraine. As the part 1 series make it clear the American ruling class most notably the Democrats have played a pivotal role in creating this conflict for the sake of expanding their geopolitical interests in the Eurasia continent after the dissolution of USSR. Understanding the NATO summit: The steam for the US proxy war in Ukraine is running out. No commitment is given to Ukraine to obtain NATO membership because the West has come to realize that they can’t win a war against Russia and that peace will only be possible with a neutral Ukraine. Ukraine will never be a member of NATO. Zelenskyy has realized this and is fuming in Vilnius, attacking NATO as disrespectful and calling the conditions absurd. In a moment of clarity he acknowledged what’s really going on: “It seems there is no readiness neither to invite Ukraine to NATO nor to make it a member of the Alliance. This means a window of opportunity is being left to bargain Ukraine’s membership in NATO in negotiations with Russia.”That’s exactly right. NATO has lost this war. Biden has lost this war. The lunatic Democrats have lost this war. The uni-party warmongers have lost this war. The EU has lost this war. Ukraine and Zelensky have lost this war. Russia wins and rightfully so because everything that happened in Ukraine was a fraud against the Ukrainian people perpetrated by a failing US empire in its final stand against a rising multipolar world. Zelenskyy was never a leader who did what’s best for his people. He will be remembered as a US puppet and actor for foreign interests. 350,000 Ukrainians dead because of him and his puppet masters in the US. He lost $12.7 trillion worth of land and resources to Russia because he did not sign the reasonable peace agreement that Russia had proposed to him. Instead he fell for empty promises from Biden that the US will support Ukraine until victory. What a fool. The good news is this war may be over soon. The West has lost its appetite to throw more money into the Ukrainian black hole. With the US and EU entering recession they have enough problems at home. Protests and riots will become regular news. Biden wouldn’t stand a chance in the next election. His brain is Swiss cheese and the only alternative for the Democrats is Kennedy. Trump will use the fatal mistake in Ukraine and the dire economic outlook of the US to run a successful campaign. Kennedy, who says all the right things, would be his only real obstacle but the Democrats have messed their country up so royally that Trump seems like the only choice. The reality is that it doesn’t matter who the next US president is. The insurmountable debt burden combined with de-dollarization in global trade and the rise of BRICS+ are going to send the US into a decade long depression with unseen levels of poverty and violence. Hopefully humanity dodged a bullet and nuclear war is no longer imminent. At least that is my read of the situation right now. But things could flare up again if peace negotiations fail. Russia may be tempted to take Odessa and turn Ukraine into rump state without access to the sea. Russia is holding all the cards. Let’s see how Putin plays them.(7)>>“voluntarily” joining NATO – and NATO is surely expanding itself . The USA 🇺🇸 is not capable of maintaining its own security, so its looking for those willing to defend it at a price. Without NATO members, USA 🇺🇸 military spending will completely come to a halt Regions of the world needed help. But everywhere NATO has been things are worse now than they were before NATO responded - as horrid as this seems. The damage caused by NATO will last decades too. NATO has not helped, but instead made things worse. Senior US government officials knew as far back as 2008 that the possibility of adding Ukraine to NATO was seen as a serious “military threat” by Russia, one that crosses Moscow’s security “redlines” and could force it to intervene.Yet Western leaders continued insisting that Ukraine would join the US-led military alliance, right up until Russia did indeed intervene in February 2022.At the annual NATO summit back in 2008, the George W. Bush administration publicly called for adding Russia’s neighbors Ukraine and Georgia to the military alliance. NATO’s secretary-general declared that the two countries would eventually become members. But privately, US diplomats knew that this move would be seen as an existential threat by Moscow, and could provoke Russian military intervention in Ukraine.(8)>>The idea of a  US naval base in the Ukraine/ Crimea as a member of NATO  must be the probably the "cause" of what seems to Russia's retaliation to gain control of that region .    NATO was going to turn Crimea into a naval base” - Georgiy Muradov, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Crimea . The size of the US presence in the Black Sea will always be limited to the confines of the Montreux Convention, which limits the ship size and length of stay in the waterway of any warships from non-Black Sea nations. The aggregate tonnage of all non-Black Sea warships   in the Black Sea must not exceed 30,000 tons and can only stay up to twenty-one days. While there are limits to the American presence in the waterway, having new port facilities in Ukraine will allow US and NATO warships to sail, and dock, closer to Crimea than ever before, however. And the dual Maritime Operations Centers will give the Ukrainians the ability to track Russian activities while putting some US observers in the seat while American ships operate in the Black Sea. Putin claimed that Ochakiv was key to United States and NATO plans to turn Ukraine into a staging ground for attacks against Russia.“The United States and NATO have begun the shameless development of the territory of Ukraine as a theater of potential military operations,” Putin said. “Regular joint exercises have a clear anti-Russian focus.” (9)>>Ukraine has been a weak link in Russia's defenses against the West. The trajectory and ultimate outcome of the war will, of course, be determined largely by the policies of Ukraine and Russia. But Kyiv and Moscow are not the only capitals with a stake in what happens. This war is the most significant interstate conflict in decades, and its evolution will have major consequences for the United States. It is appropriate to assess how this conflict may evolve, what alternative trajectories might mean for U.S. interests, and what Washington can do to promote a trajectory that best serves U.S. interests.  Ukraine's "weak" offensive performance has become a big headache for the West. Experts across NATO and EU states have been analysing their future course of action. A UK-based expert fears Kyiv's failure in the counteroffensive may lead to the West's "devastating defeat." Ukraine's offensive is in its second month but has failed to show any results. Russia's air superiority and minefields have crippled Ukraine's mission on the ground. Moscow has erected an impregnable defence line across its "new territories." The conflict, moreover, has already transformed much of what the world thought it knew about not only military operations and strategy, but also diplomacy, intelligence, national security, energy security, economic statecraft, and much more. So as the war hits its  two half-year mark, In short, not much, and certainly no breakthrough of Russian lines. That's got some in the West concerned. The amount of Western-supplied equipment, vehicles, and weaponry Ukraine has lost is substantial. The size and complexity of Russian defenses across southern and eastern Ukraine is formidable. The specter of Russian nuclear use has haunted this conflict since its early days. In announcing his invasion in February 2022, Putin threatened any country that tried to interfere in Ukraine with consequences "such as you have never seen in your entire history."(10)>>The whole Ukraine war is WEIRD , it's been GOING ON SINCE 2014.  The conflict between Russia and Ukraine started 7 years ago. Why invade now? What "redline" has been crossed? The Red-line issued by Putin and Kremlin is moving advanced missile weapon systems inside Ukraine.Kremlin will not let this happen because it is on their border and forms a spear that can jab vital arteries (like Volgograd).  It turns out the situation in Ukraine is a lot more complex than our government and media tell us. 2014 was the year that Ukraine's democratically elected leader was overthrown by the Maiden Revolution. Fighting broke out over much of the country, especially in Ukraine's eastern provinces where 8 million ethnic Russian live.If I had to guess, Ukraine is pushing harder and harder to join NATO and Russia doesn't want them to. Russia's struggling to keep Ukraine within it's sphere of influence though because well, they kinda invaded Crimea and are running a proxy war in Donbass - so they've really got no other option than threatening the Ukrainians with force.Meanwhile, disputing the date for the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war as February 24, Kovalevich tells me, “The war in Ukraine didn’t start in February 2022. It began in the spring of 2014 in the Donbas and has not stopped for these eight years.” Kovalevich is a member of Borotba (Struggle), a communist organization in Ukraine. Borotba, like other communist and Marxist organizations, was banned by the previous U.S.-backed Ukrainian government of Petro Poroshenko in 2015 (as part of this ongoing crackdown, two communist youth leaders-Aleksandr Kononovich and Mikhail Kononovich-were arrested by Ukrainian security services on March 6).(11)>>DISASTROUS WITHDRAWAL of AFGHANISTAN UKRAINE .Biden after his pull out from Afghanistan needs to show that he's serious on the foreign policy front and not a push over. It could be that he pulled out of Afghanistan. So that he would t have that problem to deal with. As he dealt with the more serious threats of Russia and China. Given how much time the Dems have spent over the last five years claiming that Russia stole the 2016 election. Some payback is due. And it is undeniable that Russia has been doing a PR campaign targeting both the left and the right. Attempting to stoke racial tensions etc. in the US and the West more generally. NATO has marched on from one conflict to the other, allowing Afghanistan to fade into oblivion as it shifts to Ukraine. Once upon a time Afghanistan was, at least in comparison with Iraq, the ‘good war’; today’s good war is Ukraine. Putin is not wrong to see Ukraine as a proxy war for NATO, despite the alliance’s own rebuttals.  Rather than put the lives of their own troops at risk, NATO states are supplying munitions and money to keep Ukraine in the fight. If the US pulls out, as it did in Afghanistan, not least because of the tensions with China, will its European partners prove more willing to carry on than they did in 2021?  And even if the whole of NATO remains solid in its commitments, is it ready that it forfeits freedom of action to those who are doing the actual fighting? The big mistake in Afghanistan, made by both Russia in the 1980's and the US in 2001, is to completely miss the political landscape in Afghanistan. In a sense the US is making that same error. They forget that Minsk 2 had extensive support from the locals in the Donbas and Crimea. Even from pro-ukraine locals. And that's relevant because Russia's primary demands were for Ukraine to uphold Minsk 2.So by that error, the US is underestimating the support the enemy has among the locals and is thus, albeit on a smaller scale, repeating the exact same error that it made in Afghanistan and Vietnam. (12)>>After 17 years it's like...bomb and invade another country.  America has been at war since 1945 . Korean War, Vietnam War , the Gulf War and the 20 years of "war on Terror " . It was NOT ENOUGH FOR THE US DEEP STATE . UKRAINE is fodder. This really boils situation down for me to understand with my primitive cave man brain..this talk of isis. More clear. In CAUSING 911 the US/Isreal and Britain have created a monster that will not go easily back in to the box. Now I ask you (all readers here) with my comprehensive /realistic and cynical understanding of the bullshit factory the US has created, where does a good person put his/her loyalties these days? Where do i rest my faith on, being born and raised in USA to believe in flag and country etc? Now the wool is off my eyes and I see all the BS fucking wars for what they really are$$$$$$$$. Always do endless wars! I didn’t and focused on outpost and it set me back personally. Now I do 51 every day, as I grow and gain my soldiers I will up how many rounds I do. But they give you so many items and more prestige than outpost (we’ve tested) Every smart person alive today knows we're living in a kind of dystopia, a best of times, worst of times consumerist cornucopia that would make Orwell shit bricks. That's why I believe it's reasonable to stand back and resort to, and end on, a philosophical question regarding our species. If we were honest with ourselves solving this one would be pretty easy. If we were really about freedom and democracy we could just disengage from the whole area, let people sort out the political problems by themselves and buy oil and the price established by the free market. Or the US govt could go a darker but still more honest route and meet with the current leaders of all Oilstans of consequence. Tell them, "Look, we need oil. We don't care that much about how you run your country as long as the spigot flows black. Give us a good deal on it and we'll give you a good deal on our fancy weapons. The second the oil stops we start selling those weapons to your opponents instead, cheap."Curtailing of NATO: Trump has struck a chord with many Americans. America's leading role in NATO, and its military activity in general, are far from popular. After Clinton, who will fight to keep American military as it is today, it seems unlikely that Americans will support more war. At the same time, Europe will be becoming more and more hard-pressed for cash as the weight of social programs and aging population drains increasingly strained economies. Given the unpopularity of military or NATO activity in certain key members of NATO, a politician may exploit this to cut military spending further to fund social programs.War is profitable, the West and major powers and the biggest arm's manufacturer and suppliers, name a world power that does not sell arms? Why would they want a quick war? tensions around the world creates markets for which to sell more weapons, middle east and southeast asia are increasing military spending and guess who this 3rd world countries are talking too in beefing up there capabilities?and maintaining regional conflicts maintains and protects the west status as a super power. The west likes its role as the Police of the world, and also the supplier of arms if ever you need it.

FRANCE is BURNING & WHY ?

France is burning with riots.
ARE WE NEXT AGAIN ???
People should watch the  (1)>>French movie ‘La Haine’. The resemblance of the movie to the current events is uncanny. If groups of immigrants flood an area to quick and too fast they can create enclaves where they’re a lot more likely to not assimilate to the values of the country that has let them in. Combine that with radical islam and through in a police homicide and it’s no wonder things got this dicey. However if France doesn’t stand up to their values and maintain order then they’re a lost country. Especially when the  (2)>>EU does nothing to stem the continued flow of young mostly male economic immigrants with a religion that largely resents western culture and religions. A country can’t be a country without some form of border if they don’t vet the values of the people coming in. A rise in lethal police shootings over the last few years has been linked to a law reform in 2017, which broadens the circumstances in which an officer can use their firearm. Coming into force in the aftermath of the 2016 Islamist attack in Nice, the law allows police officers to fire if they think the driver is "likely" to cause harm to people. Critics say that the provision creates a grey zone.  (3)>> C’est la catastrophe!”But a year-and-a-half after Macron took office, a majority of the French are trying to tell him, “You don’t listen to us!” His approval ratings are abysmal. (3.1)>>FRANCE IS BURNING .. IT's A WARNING also to AMERICA ! Trump has been right about just about everything. He tried warn folks about what was happening to France & nobody wanted to listen. Media called him a racist for telling the truth. Now loo    This is also yet another major headache for French President Emmanuel Macron, who’s seeking to rebuild his political capital at home and abroad after months of crippling strikes over his pension reform, and has now had to postpone a scheduled trip to Germany in order to deal with the new crisis, after being forced to leave early from a European summit in Brussels to hurry back to Paris last week.   (4)>>The revolt started after an officer shot dead a 17-year-old, during a traffic stop in the Paris suburb of Nanterre. Similarly to the case of George Floyd, an African American man who was choked to death by Minneapolis police officers in front of several filming bystanders in 2020, the event was caught on a video that widely circulated on social media, sparking a massive outcry. The death of that guy was a serious incident that cannot be ignored, the responsible has to be brought in front of justice. But that cannot justify what is happening right now here in France.  (5)>>This is not justice, this is just using a tragic incident to justify doing crimes: breaking shops and stealing from them, burning random cars of people and so on. I hope all those criminals will be punished for doing this, for destroying something that's worth someone's years of work.    These neighborhoods exploded. Over 700 businesses were burned, and over 1,300 cars torched. One fireman died trying to put out the flames in an underground car park. Forty-five-thousand officers were deployed to stop the riots; 2,000 rioters were arrested. Over 500 of the officers were injured. Schools and cultural centers have been attacked. (6)>>Riots spread to Switzerland and Belgium. Seven were arrested in Lausanne, Switzerland, after teens smashed shop windows. Others threw paving stones and at least one Molotov cocktail at police. Belgian police arrested 64 in Brussels, with one youth accused of attacking a police officer.Even for a country where protests and strikes are a national sport, these were extreme—the worst riots since 2005. They’ll have major ramifications for the future of France. The police resort to terrorism in order to regain control, thereby exposing themselves for who they really are. It's a stage of revolution and a critical one; if it works, the current order remains in power.  (7)>>If it fails, France witnesses a revolution of the kind that hasn't been seen in a G7 country in centuries. The French one-upped our own revolution and haven't stopped since. They were chopping heads off, talking about banning inheritance, destroying churches and stripping the clergy of its wealth and power while we were still over here with chattel slavery talking about 'All men are created equal.'When Europe realizes the mistake made by letting this much Muslims in it will be too late, true Muslims and Islam have only one goal in their religion and that is to make Islam the only religion, it literally says so in the Quran. When the French are fighting for their lives and "men" here in America are joining women's sports, you know their clown world operation has been successful. What happen to all the real men?.

NOTES AND COMMENTS :

(1)>>French movie ‘La Haine’. If you are French, or want to have a deeper understanding of the situation in France. NOW is the perfect time to watch this movie. LA HAINE vehicular a message that is still important. Even more now Watch it! La Haine opens with a montage of news footage of urban riots in a banlieue in the commune of Chanteloup-les-Vignes near Paris. A local man, Abdel Ichaha, is in intensive care having been gravely injured in police custody. In the ensuing riots the local police station is besieged, and a police officer loses his revolver. The film depicts approximately twenty consecutive hours in the lives of three friends of Abdel, all young men from immigrant families, in the aftermath of the riot.I dont want to spoiler too much, but the rest of the movie is basically about one of the 3 who wants to seek revenge for the killing of abdel, struggles with the police racism and problems within french society. "So the plot is actually really close to the situation thats going on in france rn. You get to see the life in the banlieu and the reason, why someone thats living in the banlieu wants to seek revenge and the sentiment of the people in the banlieu plus you see the divide in the population and the problems with police so I dont really know how somebody could say its totally unrelated lol. (2)>>EU does nothing to stem the continued flow of young mostly male economic immigrants. So a lot of Europeans are mad that EU is allowing mass immigration from places like Africa which is causing the immigrant population for example:Sweden having 14% of their population being foreign born And 1 in 4 German births are by immigrants. And unlike America european immigrants rarely assimilate and have their own separate communities which leads to religious extremism and terrorist attacks like in France where terrorism surged after 1970s allowance of immigration or Sweden violence surging I personally don’t think immigration is that bad but the far right Europeans are getting huge support like the far right candidate against macron almost won last election and could win the future one and I fear that mass deportations and far right countries might rise in europe in the future A lot of Europeans think that other people are replacing their culture (which is bs and this narrative is used by racists a lot) and people go as far and say that this is colonization which is also bs So do you personally think europe should allow more immigrants and would you be ok with it if europe had a large population and were mass immigrating to africa in the 21th century?(3)>> C’est la catastrophe!”But a year-and-a-half after Macron took office, a majority of the French are trying to tell him, “You don’t listen to us!”.  Macron has the support of a tailor-made absolute majority in the National Assembly : he has strictly no interest in calling new elections that would most certainly result in a cabinet hostile to him. Or, he could try and emulate Chirac, who did so in 1997 and was reelected in 2002.He can also resign, which would of course lead to a new presidential election, and most likely in new legislative elections. ---- French pay high taxes, poor retirement, health care issues - Macron lowering taxes for rich, increasing for middle class - Macron mocking the people and being cocky? - Macron wasting a lot of tax money on questionable projects? - Paris is very expensive (at least when I was there the last time) even in very crappy looking areas - Immigration crisis costing extreme amount of money and have a strong toll on the population - Some parts of paris now look like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yqopPs5Tp-I- Recently there was a riot with immigrants destroying parts of the city (also in the video) Not sure how large tho - Recent Terrorist attacks surely having a huge impact - ?The tax raise on fuel even if minor let the barrel overfill and people are just pissed because of the near history, and the cocky attitude of Macron really made people go enrage I would strongly assume All kinds of people are in the protests, left, right, center, extremists, some just want to destroy stuff or fight the police, some travel in to make trouble like at G20, majority of the French apparently sympathize with them from what I know. (3.1)>>FRANCE IS BURNING .. IT's A WARNING also to AMERICA !.  Marjorie Taylor Greene is using the unrest in France to warn Americans that similar rioting could happen in the U.S. if the nation doesn't implement stricter immigration laws and defend gun rights.Greene told her Twitter followers on Monday that Muslim migrants are to blame for the French riots and that the country's gun laws have prevented its citizens from owning arms to defend themselves against the rioters."Muslims migrated to France over the past two decades and France took them in while making it difficult for the people of France to own guns for self protection," Greene tweeted.  Greene isn't the only one to draw parallels between the recent events in France and American immigration policies. Politically, the situation at the U.S.-Mexico border has been a weak spot for the Biden administration, bringing fierce Republican attacks over the past two years.Despite the differences between the two countries’ cultures, police forces and communities, the shooting in France and the outcry that erupted there this week laid bare how the U.S. is not alone in its struggles with systemic racism and police brutality. (4)>>The revolt started after an officer shot dead a 17-year-old, during a traffic stop in the Paris suburb of Nanterre. Like GEORGE FLOYD  , Lawyers for the victim's family identified him as 17-year-old Nahel M. and said they intend to file complaints against the officer who fired the lethal shot and another officer who was at the scene. Nahel's mother took to social media calling for people to join her at a march in Nanterre on Thursday, saying: "Please, let's revolt for my son."I understand France passed a law a few years back giving police the authority to shoot at vehicles. This was in response to the level of terrorism they combat. But even if no law such as that existed...the story is weak. If Nahel had been hit by the but of a gun, whether once or twice he would not be able to drive. What he is not saying is relevant. It is also important to note the trivial details being provided by this "friend". The story is very unnatural and raises more questions than answers. While he did not possess a criminal record, according to his family’s legal representatives, Merzouk had encounters with law enforcement, notably for resisting arrest. He had been charged with resisting arrest multiple times, including the weekend before his most recent incident. His judicial file revealed 15 recorded incidents involving offenses such as using false license plates, driving without insurance, and engaging in the sale and consumption of drugs.A series of difficulties and encounters with the legal system characterized Merzouk’s life. (5)>>This is not justice, this is just using a tragic incident to justify doing crimes: breaking shops and stealing from them, burning random cars of people and so on.  Similar to minneapolis in that the rioters didn't care about George Floyd, but wanted a free TV or see the world burn - anarchists. Same thing is happening in France.  While the world shudders at what video suggests was a senseless killing, as well as the equally senseless destruction of Nahel's neighborhood — and beyond — Minnesotans are likely viewing the news from France through the lens of George Floyd's murder in Minneapolis and the violent events that followed in 2020. BUT  will stoop to anything as it regards speculation- this has nothing to do with a 17 year old young man - trying to draw similarities is frightful - what's clearly wrong is the reaction to this by people in France- they are using this tragedy the same way we saw people rioting and burning and STEALING from stores and innocent business owners- To be clear, this is not a protest. This is a riot of people behaving badly. While the loss of life may have similar nodes to that of the loss of Mr. Floyd. The true correlation is with those rioting in France today and those who, throughout urban America, rioted in the Summer of 2020.(6)>>Riots spread to Switzerland and Belgium. Seven were arrested in Lausanne, Switzerland, after teens smashed shop windows. After having spread to Belgium, Afro-Arab riots have no spread to Switzerland. Tell me again this is just about pOLiCe BruTaLiTy? It’s clearly a war on Europeans, permitted by decades of anti-white animus and a cultivated sense of entitlement and impunity.   Protests over the killing of a French teenager at the hands of police have spread to neighbouring Belgium and Switzerland, as Emmanuel Macron delayed an official visit to deal with the crisis. On the sidelines of an EU Summit, Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo said, "What is happening in France has nothing to do with what is happening in our country."Over the past six nights, roughly three thousand people have been arrested, with shops being looted and buildings being attacked in parts of France.I don’t understand what it means for a riot to “spread” to another country. What is the mechanism by which riots in Belgium and Switzerland are “caught” from France? The BLM example was quite explainable: pushed by the media. (7)>>If it fails, France witnesses a revolution of the kind that hasn't been seen in a G7 country in centuries. While the newest wave of protests ,   Even though the relationship between the French police and the citizenry has been strained, this dynamic is not the sole cause for unrest.  France's most intense urban violence in nearly two decades rocked the country for a week, with thousands of cars torched, public property destroyed, and over 3,700 rioters arrested, many of them minors.President Emmanuel Macron will celebrate Bastille Day, which marks the fall of the Bastille prison in 1789, seen as igniting the French Revolution. As a result of this dissatisfaction, the protests have been centered around a grassroots movement outside of governmental processes. this strategy has helped calibrate the frustration of the French people. NOW these movements have failed to articulate an “end game.” Just as there exists a disconnect between Macron’s promises and his governance, a disconnect exists between the grassroots movement and its goals to radically reform France’s economic and political structures. Both crises flow, in part, from the high rates of inflation caused by the Ukraine war and the retreat of the Covid pandemic.   What we’re witnessing is the slow-motion train derailment that is the collapse of the post-Cold War neoliberal consensus. In nearly every western nation, the globalists are under siege from both right and left. When faced with civil disorder, and let’s remember the primary purpose of all governments at all levels is to maintain civil order, weak willed politicians will bow to public pressure in order to avoid outright rebellion. These ‘compromises’ will gradually erode the policies that have enabled and empowered the current neoliberal order. At the same time, attending to the immediate needs of domestic populations is likely to be at the expense of international goals like free trade, etc. as the human instinct to ‘take care of our own’, and/or ‘put our own house in order’ overrides all other concerns. The US no longer has the economic power or the political capital to intervene, and a significant portion of Americans are tired of the expenses of being a hegemon falling upon them while the benefits continue to enrich the top 1%. Expect no help from here, as there’s a strong possibility that unless the economy makes a major turn in the next two years, we’re likely to see the return of Trump or someone quite similar in 2024. Moreover, the powerful US military establishment is laser focused on China at the moment and the conflict between the world’s two largest economies will continue at everyone’s expense because there is almost no political pressure outside of big business (who themselves are becoming political pariahs in many corners) in the other direction. The end result of all of this will be a multipolar world characterized by resurgent nationalism, increased tension between nations, and an increased reliance on limited political/economic alliances between individual nations or regional blocs who share economic synergies and similar political objectives.
