TOTAL RE-COUNTING .

TOTAL RE-COUNTING .

Not many of us want to accept a Trump win { that Trump actually won ...}but its going to be a matter of debate . Since the election was close . Hillary Clinton did win the popular vote. Recounting is going to be a challenge legally. President-elect Donald Trump broke his silence Saturday on the multi-state vote-recount effort led by Jill Stein and joined this weekend by Hillary Clinton, another failed 2016 White House candidate, calling the effort "ridiculous” and a scam. Stein, the Green Party candidate, started the effort a couple of days ago to get recounts in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin -- states that Trump surprisingly won. Mrs Clinton was then reacting to Mr Trump's refusal to respect the outcome. The recount in Wisconsin was initiated by Green Party candidate Jill Stein. The state was narrowly won by Mr Trump.Dr Stein also wants recounts in Michigan and Pennsylvania, citing (1)>> "statistical anomalies".The Green Party nominee reportedly wants to be sure computer hackers did not skew the poll in favor of Mr Trump.Concerns over possible Russian interference { I honestly don't believe it was (2)>the Russians , I believe the GOP inside job did it ..}  had been expressed in the run-up to the vote.Stein has raised $5.8 million toward her goal of $7 million and on Friday made her first official move -- requesting a recount in Wisconsin.  His campaign manager Kellyanne Conway told Bloomberg, “What a pack of sore losers. After asking Mr. Trump and his team a million times on the trail, ‘Will HE accept the election results?’ it turns out Team Hillary and her new BFF Jill Stein can’t accept reality.” Stein was critical of Clinton during the election. Trump also unleashed a slew of tweets saying nothing will change and pointing out that Clinton criticized him during a debate for saying (3)>>the election was riggedTrump campaigned several times in Wisconsin. Wisconsin is a state that is the home to Republican National Committee Chairman (and now Trump chief of staff) Reince Priebus as well as House Speaker Paul Ryan. The state’s GOP had honed its get-out-the-vote machine during the Walker recall wars over public sector collective bargaining. Last Thursday, the activists held a conference call with Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta and campaign general counsel Marc Elias to make their case, according to a source briefed on the call. The academics presented findings showing that in Wisconsin, Clinton received 7 percent fewer votes in counties that relied on electronic-voting machines compared with counties that used optical scanners and paper ballots. Based on this statistical analysis, Clinton may have been denied as many as 30,000 votes; she lost Wisconsin by 27,000. While it’s important to note the group has not found proof of hacking or manipulation, they are arguing to the campaign that the suspicious pattern merits an independent review — especially in light of the fact that the Obama White House has accused the Russian government of hacking the Democratic National Committee. In a scenario where Stein would go forward with the plan, and the recounts would give Clinton the win in all three swing states, Trump would find himself out of a President job come January. Clinton’s new electoral votes tally would be 278, while Trump’s votes would fall to 260. That would turn Clinton into the next President-elect. I doubt that a new recount will change the outcome of this election. However Stein has the same right as candidate as Trump to ask for an recount. Anyway was Trump who first question the integrity of our democratic process by saying that the system was corrupted

NOTES AND COMMENTS:

(1)>> "statistical anomalies". Federal law requires that all recounts be finished 35 days after the election, which is Dec. 13. One or both of the candidates will be required to pay for the recount.  Other experts have disputed the unproven hacking claims, which were raised in the media shortly before Stein launched her recount fundraising efforts, and the Wisconsin GOP has labeled the recount “absurd.” Some have also accused Stein of wasting money in a scenario that is highly unlikely to overturn the election results; Stein says she is concerned about election integrity.Meanwhile, the Obama administration is defending the election results, according to Politico, saying, “it has seen no evidence of hackers tampering with the 2016 presidential election” and adding, “We stand behind our election results, which accurately reflect the will of the American people.”   According to current tallies, Trump has won 290 Electoral College votes to Clinton’s 232, with Michigan’s 16 votes not apportioned because the race there is still too close to call. It would take overturning the results in both Wisconsin (10 Electoral College votes) and Pennsylvania (20 votes), in addition to winning Michigan’s 16, for Clinton to win the Electoral College. There is also the complicating factor of “faithless electors,” or members of the Electoral College who do not vote according to the popular vote in their states. At least six electoral voters have said they would not vote for Trump, despite the fact that he won their states.  (2)>the Russians .The Clinton campaign and various intelligence agencies have accused the Russian government of staging a series of hacks – including those published by WikiLeaks – that hurt Clinton’s chances during the campaign, including hacking into the emails of her campaign chairman, John Podesta. The group seeking the recount has not proven any election hacking or manipulation but argues the previous hacks mean the election’s integrity should be validated.Stein told CNN: “We think the forensic computer experts have raised serious questions. What we do know is that this was a hack-riddled election, we saw hacks into voter databases, into party databases, into individual email accounts.”  (3)>>the election was rigged  Technically it's up to each state to certify the election results...a candidate "conceding" is not a legal move, but simply a political move...conducting a recount is an arduous process and the results are in many cases less reliable than the initial results...hundreds of thousands of paper ballots in the case of paper ballot districts must be carefully hand-counted by teams and then recounted a second time by a second team...if the results are printed sheets from voting machines, those tallies will be added up again by hand...if the process really starts, both major parties will have to enlist thousands of observers and hundreds of lawyers to carefully monitor the counts and tallies...each step is subject to legal challenges which could mean spending time in state courts...plus there is a deadline to present the results to the electoral college which is December 13th...and the electors meet and vote on December 19th...Congress will then certify the results of the vote on January 6th...if the recounts appear to be faulty, Congress can choose to not accept them...since there are more Republican governors and Congress is controlled by the Republicans, any results that appear to be faulty will probably be rejected...the dems can hope these recounts will change the outcome, but in reality its more of a longshot than they think...and any change in the outcome will unleash a Constitutional crisis which will make 2000 seem like a cakewalk...  Instead of totting up each person's vote, in the US every state gets a certain number of votes depending partly on the size of its population. The way it's worked out means there's a minimum of three votes per state. In most states, the most popular candidate wins all of its votes, even if 49% of people voted a different way. The system is different in Maine and Nebraska, where voting is broken down into Congressional districts, which means not all the state's electoral college votes have to go to the same candidate.Winning a state like California, which gets 55 of the total 538 electoral college votes, will put a candidate a long way towards the 270 state votes needed to win the presidency. Even if they win that state by a single vote, they get all 55 votes. It is better to win by a small margin in lots of states than win by a landslide in just a few - the scale of the win (and therefore the number of people who support you) is meaningless - you still only get one state with a fixed number of electoral college votes.

A review to what I said ............THE FUTURE .

Is this America's "future"?

(1)>>December 31, 2014 I posted on this blog a intersting "hypothisis " on the future of America in a prediction that Hillary Clinton won the 2016 election on November 8th . I NOW have to rebound , retreact a few things , since Donald Trump sized , pretty much changed the course of "history" . The Trump upset may have sent certian things down another path . If Trump never enterd the race , it would be likely that we would have the first woman President . That assumptuion is based on the unpopularity of the Republican Party . So what has "changed" in the upset ? VARY FEW . One of the things that woke me up today was hearing the the DOW was nugging 20, 000 due to the Trump matrix . I said in 2014 that Hillary might cause the DOW to make it to 20,000 { revised . The Market is in rally for Trump , The Dow Jones Industrial Average hit a new record high Tuesday, closing above 19,000 for the first time as the stunning market rally since the election of Donald Trump continued on Wall Street } It seems its going to be parallel to what I wrote in 2014 . You might have to thank Trump.  ***For the FIRST time the DOW hit over 20,000 Yes, I said in that writing that some one got rich , and the down scale economy is that the poorer got poorer . One of  my NOTES & COMMENTS to this 2014 blog  also gave a market warning :*** PAY CLOSE attention to the DOW . If it hits 20,000 or over it's not a good sign ( it means some one just got rich )  , but a warning ........ Any one now with the election win of Trump one could guess that the Billionares who control WALLSTREET will be flocking to Trump as America is now under the control of not only the Religious Right , but the billionare 1% neo-cons in one of the biggest power grabs in American history .   The AGE of GREED is back . And it has significant probable  efffects into the next decade . Much of it was discussed in 'Social Unrest by 2023 . Why in America' .  It was based on a Hillary outcome . How so much soacial unreast broke out in the years ahead started with the BLM , the police shootings and outright racism . It appears that the Trump in coming administration is directly lined to white supremists . The recently relased video show the now infamouse (2)>> "hail Trump". Just how much the white -nationalist movement was behind the Trump election is unraveling . What's funny to me is that Trump's supporters have started to defend White Nationalist, fascist, and alt-right movements by attacking the media. Is it really that hard for respectable Republicans to say this is troubling? My problem with white nationalists is that you guys want to send my friends, neighbors, and colleagues back to their "ancestral homelands". (some of whom are Muslim, Latinx, Black, or immigrants) and they deserve the same freedom and respect that I deserve. His remarks were filled with racist imagery -- including references to "the black political machines" and Latino housekeepers -- as he bashed Hillary Clinton's minority supporters. Trump’s victory has emboldened white nationalists and other racists to come out of the shadows and, indeed, take on prominent roles in the White House itself.

So what now ?  & where we are heading ..
I had to "update" some of the language of what I wrote back in 2014 . It's still the same , even though we have a differnt President . Mr. Trump right now is laying down the vary right wing agenda that's going to vervberate into the 2020's

It is a right wing power grab in the "guise" of morality and decency ? The Alt-right was waiting for this for decades . We could be at the new boiling point to our society . I am going to focus here on America , not as much less the world . I am assuming that from 2016 onward we will continue to see news reports of strife , mass shootings , cop shootings , terrorism , earthquakes and economic uncertainty.  We have all the elemets for a trubling new decade.
Again, under Obama we have seen a very slow, anemic, but at least steady recovery. A long-term economic recovery, even if slow, is enough to keep this key. Even if there is a sudden recession during the past decade .Even if there is a sudden recession during the  2016 campaign, this will probably remain true. . While things will continue to happen as they always do . It will be up to us to make those changes and not be caught up in the illusion that all is well until you see who or what is actually running (ruining) your government
American police take up a new role
riot enforcement in the 2020's
  SOCIAL UNREST ?

Violence. Rioting. Looting. Economic collapse and civil unrest. This isn’t a dystopian movie plot, but something else according to an economist with a good track record for prognostication: America’s dark future.   It's coming in the next decade the 2020's . That's why need to pay attention to this, and how it came about. . The Market was strong while the economic situation was weak .   By 2017 the banks were back  again slipping in the loan sub primes , it was a repeat of 2008 , when  the housing market hit the roof with " UN affordability" . The Trump administration reperesnetd the higher end of economic life . It was American's most (3)>> extravagant life syle ever seen ! He reperesnts the anthisis of American economic life . His elction will not change the rising costs of homes in the nation.  Trust me a 600,000 to 800,000 dollar one story "family home" out west by 2020 will cost over 1.5 million dollars . The key here is that while Wall Street (1%) continued to make profits , the so called "middle class" was hit . The 100,000 dollar salaries could no longer keep up with inflation . ANY ONE earning over one million dollars in 2020 was able survive.  I base this economic view on the statistics of inflation ,wages . Comparatively those who earn hourly ( 10 dollars an hour in 2020 minimum wage increase ) will still be poor in America . Many of them will be unable to afford rent ) In the 2020's America's first shanty towns appear .  Many full of poor illegal immigrants .

Silicon Valley’s answer to Shantytowns? Diaspora-Ville. Sim City Refugee Camp? Fun little game controlling who gets the penicillin, which granny croaks, and whose dog gets cooked for dinner? Watch as the disease takes over.
In 2023 America's homeless people take to
the street in a series of nation wide
protests that turn violent
.
Who is in the hoard that will come out blazing with AK-47? Sounds like a plan? Sounds like an app? Sounds like the new gigabyte game of the decade.
Crime is so bad that many of the upper scale Americans will be living in guarded "gated" communities . While most cities will have heavily armed police in armored vehicles patrolling . I know it seems like something out fiction , but the trends now are pointing to a vary scary future for Americans . The Great American Depression, by Ashley Walker, PhD, the book chronicles an almost decade long upswing in clinical depression, paranoia, schizophrenia, and phobias among the US population at large. Walker is quick to blame “…the glorification of fear in our society; from radical Islam who carry out acts of immense violence to state their religious and political beliefs, to a cable news media who would say the sky is falling if it meant people paid attention. BUT in 2018 it was nothing but a sticker shock , many taxes for people across the United States hit over 10.95 % increase . Wages were taxed more  and so were American's  own bank accounts . Loss of the American dream is probably one of the causes of the coming social unrest . In short, anger, protests, riots and other forms of violence have engulfed cities all across the United States in the 2020's . Years of authoritarianism, a stagnant economy, and police brutality among many other issues are coming to a head, regardless of what one thinks about the methods or even the merits of some of the protesters/rioters.  So I write this as a wake up call. I admit that I took liberties to write this . The future can go many paths . I hope that the American people take action to preserve their own democracy and not let it erode because of civil unrest and future elected leaders.

By 2023 . The Shanty towns appear outside
of the City of
Los Angeles  with over
 a million people homeless.
(4)>>This Issue of the nation debt left over from the Obmama administratiom  was staggering On Jan. 20, 2009, the day Obama took office, the total national debt stood at $10.6 trillion. On Sept. 6, the day Trump made his statement, it was $19.5 trillion.Over the past year the debt has grown by more than $1 trillion, so Trump’s estimate that the debt will be "close to $20 trillion" by the time Obama’s term ends in January is reasonable and is close to doubling the amount from when the president entered office.These indebtedness figures take into account all obligations, including about $5.4 trillion in intergovernmental debt that the U.S. government owes itself, such as the Social Security and Medicare trust funds that are invested in Treasury securities. This is SERIOUS ! Paul Ryan will intruduce perhaps the worst budget cutting measures that is going to cut services for the elderly , and those who are living poverty with Medicaid . The Debt killed the American dream in the 2020's was pretty much boiled during the first four years of Donald Trump's own cabinet to doing the worst . Though at first cuts were made in taxes in the first 100 days . Revenue shortfalls accumilated in 2018 causing the Republican led government to chop at domestic programs while increasing spending for the military budget because of the Middle-east war{ which at this writing will involve sending ground troops into Syria and Iraq }
American police open fire on protesters
 in San Francisco
in 2023 AD.

But that's nothing compared to what we've seen since the midterm elections of 2018. With both houses of Congress now firmly in Republican hands, America has devolved into complete chaos. Then came the riots. Then the stock market crashed. Trillions of dollars were lost, mutual funds tanked, and Occupy Wall Street was instantly revived — in New York City, most spectacularly (the day after the crash, 75,000 people effectively shut down the city south of Chambers Street), but also in other cities and on college campuses across the country. If were going into the 2020's the  (5)>>4 years of Trump are going to be challenging . If there is ever a chance to reverse , change "history" it should be now . I do't like civil unrest , war . { or advocate violence }  It's in the hands of our leaders to show humanity to create social programs , lift many out poverty . Give back the American dream .  That is the key for saving this nation . Lack of it may resault  into civil war . & a vary dystopian future .

NOTES AND COMMENTS:

(1)>>December 31, 2014 I posted on this blog a intersting "hypothisis ". My blog posting was titled Social Unrest by 2023. Why in America?   . I was certain of a Hillary win , so far she did win the "popular vote " , but did win enough  electorial collage delegates .  IN 2014 I  considered Hillary a catalyst that would bring so much uprising into the streets , her polices & iranhanded rule would seem hardly the platform that she was running . Things could change in the flipside In principle, Americans have long been ready to elect the first woman president. By 1999, the Gallup poll had found that 92 percent of Americans were willing to vote for a “generally well-qualified woman” for president. She was overqualified , Trump was a amature . Hillary by note also lost to Obama in 2008 . Again she was more qualified . The obvious here is that Honestly our society has become so "clueless" , has  been fed the same Kool-aide mix since President Obama was elected . Sometimes I wonder who "really -really" runs the Government . Thinking back to 2008 we have Obama promising "hope and change" in almost similar lines as Trump today . The usual slogan is "Make America Great" . Trump is beling hailed as an outsider . remember too that Obama was a outsider

(2)>> "hail Trump". the racism and anti-Semitism of the alt-right movement were on display Saturday in Washington when its members gathered to celebrate Donald Trump's victory. The president of the alt-right National Policy Institute Richard Spencer's remarks were posted Sunday on YouTube by "Red Ice Radio," which describes itself as "covering politics and social issues from a pro-European perspective." The Atlantic magazine, which is recording footage of Spencer for a documentary they're working on, also published a video of the same event showing audience members apparently giving the Nazi salute."Hail Trump! Hail our people! Hail victory!" he declared. We’ve become numb to wild accusations that, for example, President Barack Obama is a “tyrant” or “dictator.”  Similarly, when we hear President-elect Donald Trump described as a racist and his close advisor Steve Bannon as being a champion for white supremacists, we naturally assume this must be more of the same hyperbole and partisanship.Trump fever quickly spread . I recollect the "star" power that once was applied to former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger  as a example .(3)>> extravagant life syle ever seen ! Donald Trump declared as he announced his intention to run for president back in June 2015.Forbes estimate of his wealth. The business biweekly peg his fortune at $4.5bn. Although we may never know who’s actually on the money when it comes to the exact figureEither way, he has a staggering amount of money and everything that comes with living among the 1 percent of the 1 percent. He’s the richest man ever to run for president, richer than Ross Perot and Steve Forbes and Mitt Romney. “I have a Gucci store that’s worth more than Romney,” Trump told the Des Moines Register. (4)>>This Issue of the nation debt   According to "independent experts," Donald Trump's tax plan "would blow up the debt by over $5 trillion and would in some instances disadvantage middle-class families compared to the wealthy." Yet under Trump’s tax cut and spending plan, gross debt would rise to $39.5 trillion by 2026, or an astounding doubling of the current $19 trillion figure, according to anew study by the CRFB. By contrast, Clinton’s plans would raise the gross debt to $29.6 trillion during that same period – a roughly 50 percent hike.  (5)>>4 years of Trump are going to be challenging . Unschooled as President Trump would be on the military or diplomacy, he can expect utter failure. President Obama had experience almost exclusively in elected office, but that gives him some idea of what to do. Beyond any question, Republicans want to destroy labor unions and promote price-fixing while privatizing as much of the public sector as possible... and such will create so much economic inequality that it will precipitate an economic collapse with mass dissent even in places that have seemed reliably 'conservative'.    Trump gave them the power to do so . With the Religious right behind it the nations take over could ONLY LAST ONE TERM .

"hijacking of America by the religious right ..."

Vice President elect Mike Pence brings
a new religious hard line to the
Trump Administration
The election  of Donald Trump brings also the (1)>>"hijacking of America by the  religious right ..." . With Trump's appointment of Mike Pence as is Vice President a strong conservative "Christian". The ultra right sized power . In August Republican Donald Trump told a roomful of evangelicals on  that he was surprised to learn they are afraid to endorse him because they worry about their churches losing their non-profit status. "Your power has been totally taken away. I mean, I don't want to insult anybody, but your power has been totally taken away," Trump told the gathering in Orlando, Fla.
"So, we're going to get your voice back. (1.2)>>"We're going to get it back," he promised. What he was saying to them is akin to "Take back America..." that was uttered two decades ago when the Religious Right tried to prevent Bill Clinton from winning a second term . It's 2016 now , they have succeeded . Beside the Evangelical influence we are now seeing appointments of white supremacists in positions in Trump's cabinet . As exit polling numbers show that a greater percentage of white evangelicals voted for Trump than they did for the two previous Republican nominees and President George W. Bush in 2004, Four out of five white evangelicals voted for the Republican nominee, according to exit polls. How did people of faith reconcile the teaching of Christ with the tough rhetoric of the reality star and real estate mogul? For many, it came down to a few major issues, such as abortion and Supreme Court appointments. They also were swayed by party loyalty and fear of a government under Hillary ClintonIn 2000 and 2004, Democrats didn’t like the religious right and didn’t work with them, Wear said. “In 2006, the Democratic Party made an intentional decision to invest resources into reaching evangelicals explicitly, and it paid off. They let go of that in this election cycle.” My BIG question is . Is Trump really religious like his boss Mike Pence ? Last summer Trump stated that he isn't sure he has ever asked God for forgiveness, as he doesn't "bring God into that picture." He soon backtracked. Asking God for forgiveness is a central aspect of Christianity across the many traditions. This is not relevant to his political views, but it is curious that many Christians support Trump and believe his claims about his Christian faith. So Trump's "claims" are a bit dubious . It almost has as much merit when President Obama's faith was put into question in 2009 . Any one remember that ? Obama seemed less "Christian"  , though he was at one time a member in a radical  Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago  { the now infamous . God Damn America speech}Mr. Obama has for a while chose to identify himself  not directly associating as a Muslim,  adding to controversy his attendance in several Mosques during the Muslim Holy Moth of Ramadan over the years . This Has led to countless media speculation . It pretty much is the same in regards to Mr. Trump , which  great mystery of his piety and faith . Religious Right leaders were some of Donald Trump’s most fervent supporters in the presidential election—offering dozens of religious justifications for backing Trump in spite of his evident arrogance, dishonesty, mistreatment of women, and other character flaws. Telling the supremely narcissistic Trump that he has God’s special backing seems to be pouring gasoline on the fire, and that’s what Religious Right leaders have been doing since Election Day. “The Lord did this!” exulted former Rep.Michele Bachmann on the night of the election. Televangelist and End Times huckster Jim Bakkercalled Trump’s victory “the greatest miracle I have ever seen.”

The "return" of the old Bush Neo-Cons.
As of writing . Mr. Trump has plans
to put former rival  (3)>>Mitt
Romney
in his administration .
President Elect Trump continues to appoint fellow Republicans to Cabinet posts . (2)>> ONE thing is certain they are of the old Bush 2 era vanguards .On Sunday The New York Times published a list of potential Trump administration cabinet picks. All of the candidates are establishment insiders and neocons left over from the Bush administration. It appears that Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, the publisher of the New York Observer and someone who is aligned with the Likud Party of Israel, is now the de facto chair of the Trump transition team, especially when it comes to national security matters. There is obviously something sinister going . Its like a government take over of the nation by the ULTRA RIGHT FRINGE . I hear that Trump wants either Newt Gingrich or (2.2)>>John Bolton as Secretary of State. WTF? Both of them are radical interventionists, and should not be allowed anywhere near public office ever again. Trump promised to keep us out of foreign wars. Why can't Rand Paul be SOS? I also hear that Trump wants to appoint Steven Mnuchin, a Goldman Sachs bankster as Secretary of the Treasury. Now I don't know much about this Mnuchin fellow, and I did see that he's supported Mr. Trump all the way through the campaign. My puppet theory about Trump is becoming validated even before he takes office .Trump  ran on "Drain the Swamp," he isn't draining anything right now. He's giving out positions to top donors and fundraisers (Mnuchin), to old time establishment politicians who supported him (Gingrich/Giuliani), and he is letting people stepped in corruption allegations lead his entire transition (Christie).Giuliani was described by Newsweek in January 2007 as "one of the most consistent cheerleaders for the president's handling of the war in Iraq" and as of June 2007, he remained one of the few candidates for president to unequivocally support both the basis for the invasion and the execution of the war. After leaving the mayor's office, Giuliani founded a security consulting business, Giuliani Partners  in 2002, a firm that has been categorized by various media outlets as a lobbying entity capitalizing on Giuliani's name recognition Despite a busy schedule, Giuliani was highly active in the day-to-day business of the law firm, which was a high-profile supplier of legal and lobbying services to the oil, gas, and energy industries. So a supporter of the Iraq war, a guy who after leaving political office immediately jumped into lobbying efforts may be one of Trump's choices? It's hard to drain the swamp when you're just filling it from the other end with the same old people. Mr. Trump said he would nominate as attorney general (2.3)>>Senator Jeff Sessions of Alabama, who has been a fierce supporter of a crackdown on undocumented immigrants. The president-elect also moved to install Michael T. Flynn, a retired lieutenant general who has said that Islamist militancy poses a global existential threat, as his national security adviser. And as director of the C.I.A., Mr. Trump selected Representative Mike Pompeo of Kansas, who harshly criticized Hillary Clinton during the House investigation of the 2012 attack on the United States diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya. All three are regarded, in some ways, as outliers from conventional Republican thinking, shunned at times for strident statements, controversial positions or highly partisan moves. Meanwhile, many Republican hawks have spent the last week arguing that they should be making peace with Trump and be willing to work for him. The neocons know who are their enemies, and they accurately saw Trump as their undoing: they led the “Never Trump” mini-movement, and did everything in their power to destroy him. They sponsored and promoted two open letters from the GOP “foreign policy community,” a.k.a. the League of Discredited Warmongers, viciously attacking Trump: a concerted campaign to declare him “unfit” for office was promoted by the neoconservative media, which charged him with all the familiar epithets: “racist,” “authoritarian,” “isolationist,” and even “fascist.” It seems that the neocons wanted Trump as their "leader" for a long time , knowing that  they would be ripe for positions in his new administration .
NOTES AND COMMENTS:

(1)>>"hijacking of America by the  religious right ..." Religion was almost invisible during the presidential campaign, and yet it is the missing piece in understanding Mr. Trump’s victory. The Christian right worked largely under the national media’s radar this year, but it helped deliver the presidency to a thrice-married mogul who bragged about groping women and has been accused by multiple women of actually doing it.They were willing to forgive Mr. Trump’s personal transgressions because he stoked their fears that a Hillary Clinton administration would take away their religious liberties, use their tax dollars to fund late-term abortions at home and abroad, and expand the rights of gay and transgender people, political analysts said. Mr. Trump warned at rallies and at conservative Christian gatherings that he alone was their last hope to protect them against a changing culture, using the refrain, “This is your last chance.” (1.2)>>"We're going to get it back," Donald Trump assures us that the Bible is his favorite book, it’s worth asking: Just what is his theology? After Mr. Trump met with hundreds of evangelical Christians , James Dobson, who is among the most influential leaders in the evangelical world and serves on Mr. Trump’s evangelical executive advisory board, declared that “Trump appears to be tender to things of the Spirit,” by which Dr. Dobson meant the Holy Spirit.   (2)>> ONE thing is certain they are of the old Bush 2 era vanguards .   The Trump team headed up by vice president Mike Pence also announced Stephen Bannon as Chief Strategist and Senior Advisor. Bannon is executive chairman of the alt-right news outlet Breitbart News. He heads up the group Government Accountability with Peter Schweizer, a former William J. Casey Research Fellow at Stanford University's Hoover Institution. Casey was Reagan’s director at the CIA. He played in key role in arming the Afghan mujahideen that would later become al-Qaeda and the Taliban. He was also a central figure in the Iran-Contra scandal.Wayne Madsen Reports has learned from multiple knowledgeable sources that the proponent of neo-fascism, Michael Ledeen, is working closely with former Defense Intelligence Agency chief Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, to ensure that as many neocons from the Bush 43 and Reagan eras find senior positions in the Trump administration.(2.2)>>John Bolton. It is heavily rumored that former Bush U.N. Ambassador John Bolton — a man who has been a vocal advocate of attacking Iran — may be picked as Trump’s nominee to head the State Department. Bolton was critical of some of Trump’s remarks earlier in the campaign, but later came to his side.  (2.3)>>Senator Jeff SessionsTwo decades ago, Sessions, then a U.S. attorney from Mobile, Ala., appeared before the body as President Ronald Reagan’s nominee for the U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of Alabama. The contentious hearing took place over four days, and ended with Sessions unable to overcome allegations of racist remarks and behavior, credited at the time with thwarting his bid.The accusations came from fellow prosecutors and employees in his office. One, Gerry Hebert, then a trial attorney in the Department of Justice's Civil Rights Division, who worked frequently with Sessions, testified that he told Sessions that a judge had called a white lawyer a “disgrace to his race” because he represented black clients.(3)>>Mitt
Romney in his administration .  President-elect Donald J. Trump on Saturday moved to mend fences with political rivals after a divisive campaign, meeting with Mitt Romney, who had scathingly criticized him during the race as “a phony” and “a fraud,” to discuss naming him as secretary of state.Romey: the lastest of many to about face and suck up to the Donald. Is there anyone left in the GOP that has the integrity to stand by their statements and previous non-support of Trump?

Mr. President I "presume".................

Mr. President I "presume".
the aftermath & Predications

Way back in this blog I wrote several "predictions" . I did post a few for Trump knowing { a hunch of a speculation } that he was going to get the GOP nomination . It seemed a little too easy that he won this election . I wrote over and over again that there was something "suspicious" how the elites of the Republican party {Media as well} acted as if Trump was their enemy , but slowly  all the right wing , GOP mongrels caved and endorsed Trump as their candidate . I believe the American citizens were suckers in this election . The Republicans wanted Trump all a long. The whole possesses of choosing the GOP candidate was staged & well scripted . This whole election was "phony"   even on the side of the Democrats { Look at Barnie Sanders } seemed staged with only 3 candidates. Compare the GOP starting with 17 !    Back in 2014 I wrote and posted on this blog a article called

(1)>>Madam President I presume .................. It was set in the future in the year 2017 . So here is what I wrote :

It's January 2017 A.D. You turn on TV and see the "Inauguration" of Hillary R Clinton , beside her stands an already beleaguered looking former President Barrack Obama , and a vary sickly looking William Jefferson Clinton . The Election was so close that Mrs. Clinton's opponent Jeb Bush cried afoul , like Al Gore years before a "recount" of the nation election had accord . This was no easy day for America with rioting across the nation , more news overseas of terrorism, war .  The national debt hit 20 trillion dollars . It was snowing in Washington D.C. after a cold arctic blast swept half the nation . It look's bleak and depressing .

Now I have to update the language a bit , so it reads a bit less than fiction to more in tune with reality :

It's January 2017 A.D. You turn on TV and see the "Inauguration" of Donald J Trump  , beside him stands an already beleaguered looking former President Barrack Obama , and a vary sickly looking  Hillary &y William Jefferson Clinton . The Election was so close that Mr Trump's  opponent Hillary Clinton almost  cried afoul and  like Al Gore years before.  A "recount" of the nation election should have happened , since Hillary had the popular vote  . This was no easy day for America with rioting across the nation , more news overseas of terrorism ,war .  The national debt hit 20 trillion dollars . It was snowing in Washington D.C. after a cold arctic blast swept half the nation . It looks bleak and depressing ...........

YES Mrs. Clinton should have  won the election ! { with out prejudice   to conservatives }

(1.2)>>Now I feel sorry for Hillary Clinton . As much as it was negative that I wrote in 2014 about the Clinton assumption Presidency . I wanted her to win after all the Debates between her and Trump . The concept of the lesser of the two evils came more and more obvious .There was a vary great comparison . Mrs. Clinton was articulate , professional , more experienced . Mr. Trump was a bit brutish, angry making threats to have "Hillary in Jail" { a first in a debate history for live television } Sorry to my conservative friends out there but Hillary sounded vary knowledgeable . She may have been in government for 30 years as Trump pointed that she did nothing . She was more qualified than Trump . President Obama bemoaned the nation’s latent misogyny. “There’s a reason we haven’t had a woman president,” he told an Ohio rally. “Hillary Clinton is consistently treated differently than just about any other candidate I see out there.” On November 4, Bill Clinton chimed in: “I know there’s a bunch of guys that are upset about having a woman president. They just don’t want to ’fess up to it.”Not because (1.3)>>Crooked Hillary somehow had classified e-mails leaked . That somewhat contained "classified information " on a personal server . Yes, the evil Clinton's their conspiracy & so on . Of course exposing Bill Clinton's past infidelities . She was a woman . So Hillary poor Hillary was so crooked , but the rest of the American political system was not ?{with special regards to the saintly Republicans }Crooked Hillary was part of the system , not an outsider to the corrupt politics of Washington D.C. Mrs. Clinton fell afoul of President Obama's mistakes . She in my opinion was a "scape-goat" for the whole Benghazi { Arab Spring } collapse . She also got a bad wrap for the Obama-care fallout with rising costs . Trying to distance herself from Obama was difficult for her . What strikes me is this was her second attempt to run for the Oval Office . She lost to Obama in 2008 . PARADOXICALLY she should have won in 2008 , but still her lucky star was in Mr. Obama's hands as he crafted his cabinet to include her in his "team" of opponents like Joe Biden . Hillary suffered from being part of Bush-Clinton-Bush-Clinton (interrupted by Obama) presidential run. She was a good candidate with many flaws and was exploited by another very flawed candidate (it is hard to be in government and not have accumulated a lot of negatives) (2)>>She however won the poplar vote in my book that's the vote that should count . Not the electoral collage votes . In fact, the very nature of the way the U.S. picks its presidents tends to create a disconnect between the outcome in the Electoral College and the popular vote. The last time a popular-vote loser won the presidency in the Electoral College was, of course, in 2000, when George W. Bush edged out Al Gore 271-266 despite Gore winning some 537,000 more popular votes nationwide. This was vary similar to the 2000 fiasco . The popular vote never counts . What ever the factors that she lost The 2016 presidential election was extremely close. Hillary Clinton seems to have narrowly won the popular vote, and according to the current vote count, a shift of just 1.3 percent in three states — Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan — would have given her an Electoral College majority too.

Mr. President I presume ... Donald J Trump.

Many worst fears and expectations and realization came to a swift halt on November 8th , 2016. We were all somehow hoodwinked by the system that we assume is a democracy . For the first time I can say that this vote was pretty much influenced by the anger . Donald Trump who repeatedly said The election will be “rigged” against him — and he could lose as a result. It was Leaked out what I said as well . The system is rigged on on which side of the view point your on . I suspected that Donald Trump was secretly picked by the GOP a long time ago to run for the Presidency. When the 17 GOP candidates walked on stage  On March 23, 2015. They started to drop out one by one in a suspicious manner On May 3, 2016, Cruz dropped out of the race, after getting the support of millions of voters — many of them conservative — but not enough to win it. The next day, John Kasich dropped out, too, leaving just one candidate in the GOP field: presumptive nominee Donald Trump, who entered the race on June 16, 2015. suddenly started to get endorsements by his opponents . Nothing was far from strange if you compare the Democrats who MAY HAVE rigged it for Hillary . The Republicans did  RIG  their system for a Trump nomination win . With no political experience and a long history of political flip flopping & at one time a Clinton supporter himself , Donald Trump is a mere puppet of the extreme right wing  under the vary wings of his VP Mike Penece who in fact is de facto ruler . The Trump presidency is going to be one of the nations (2.2>>STRANGEST Presidencies in it's history . (3)>>Right now he is drawing up a cabinet of the most HARD LINE  Republicans with the likes of Judge Ashcroft . It's also important to emphasize upfront that names floated for various positions are sometimes more about expressing gratitude to surrogates, even if they're unlikely to actually get picked. That said, some of the early names leaking out are of the sort that could send a real signal about Trump's path going forward. And some of those paths could really make Democrats squirm. This would be liken to a TEA PARTY 'ER's dream , a  cabinet  flooded with Evangelicals , white supremacists . It's going to be nasty as far as I can see . What the ultra -right is going to pursue while Trump hand picks his SUPREME COURT choice . I personally can see ROE v WADE repealed { Planned Parenthood underfunded and shut down nation wide } Yes, the newly legalized Marijuana in some states Like California could go bust again with the upholding of the federal law.(3.2)>>The nightmare is only beginning .(4)>> I just don't know how much of Mr. Obama's own "failures" made a angry bunch of people take a hardline approach , by taken a step backward to Bush 2 era {not Reagan }  Though none of these potential cabinet picks are set in stone, Trump’s back-tracking on other key issues has kept suspicion regarding his real intentions alive and well. Just today, Trump announced that he will consider keeping part of Obamacare, a healthcare program extremely unpopular with Trump supporters. One of Trump’s most frequently repeated promises was the complete elimination of Obamacare, conflicting with his transition team’s website, which says : “A Trump Administration will work with Congress to repeal the ACA and replace it with a solution that includes Health Savings Accounts, and returns the historic role in regulating health insurance to the States,” according to the website. Trump's election was what  Republicans masterminded it from the vary start , despite  since Obama came to office the right has been hijacked being more likely to hold racist beliefs, have rarely voted on the basis of those beliefs – not consciously in any case. But that racism exploded  with Trump win is being plastered all over the nation with an increase in hate crimes . Racial enmity appears to be the motivating factor among his supporters. The only other comparably strong predictor of Trump support is anti-Muslim attitudes. There is, in other words, no pretense of conservatism. Trump voters are impelled by race and nativism.

THE PREDICTIONS .
For me this is the hardest part to write about . Our political system has been hijacked . The new "rulers" are going to incite more rebellion across  this nation than ever before  . On Inauguration day 2017 there is the probability of protests at Washington D.C. There is a a great probability of  Trump  administration overturn Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion nationwide . His pick to the Supreme Court is obvious , since he publicly stated that " women should be punished for abortions" . That is the hint for me where this going . Along with Obama-care being gutted , with no plan to insure 20 million , the first 10 days to 100 days are going to be hard on the American public . In 2018 there could be another "terrorist act " abroad or on this nation that could fuel Trump's ambition for a "Muslim ban" . Race relations which were at their worst during the Obama years , now are going to hit the wall .  Its not going to easy . Trump has to power to make it or break it . Stay tuned !

NOTES AND COMMENTS:

(1)>>Madam President I presume ..................see http://theun-politics.blogspot.com/2014/12/madam-president-i-presume.html Some reader of mine wrote me back in regards to this prediction in 2015 , stating that there was a NO WAY Hillary win .  My answer to that was that this was going to be a close election , this was way before Donald J Trump ran for office a second time & threw the whole thing into chaos .  Few days or even hours before the election all media channels were reporting that she would win by a good margin. This made her supporters complacent and on the election day many of them did not bother to vote.(1.2)>>Now I feel sorry for Hillary Clinton.  I had casted my vote for her  KNOWING that a slim chance for her . Donald Trump said that the "system was rigged" in sighting the idea that Hillary was going win  because the system favored her . We now think that the rigged system was all about Trump .   (1.3)>>Crooked Hillary. Her biggest blunders were in giving Trump ammunition to characterize her as corrupt. If she hadn’t decided to use a personal email address for all her State Department business, if she hadn’t raked in exorbitant speaking fees from Wall Street banks and corporations, if her family hadn’t spent years raising big money for their foundation in a way that looked ugly to many (even if it was used for a good cause), the outcome could well have looked different.    (2)>>She however won the poplar vote. Donald Trump won at least 279 electoral votes (306 if you include Arizona and Michigan, where he was leading as of Wednesday afternoon) to Hillary Clinton’s 228 (232 including New Hampshire, where she was ahead by a hair). But the popular vote is a near-tie, according to our tally of unofficial and, in some cases, partial returns. As of Wednesday afternoon, Clinton was slightly ahead of Trump, 59.6 million votes (47.66%) to 59.4 million (47.5%). This mismatch between the electoral and popular votes came about because Trump won several large states (such as Florida, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin) by very narrow margins, gaining all their electoral votes in the process, even as Clinton claimed other large states (such as California, Illinois and New York) by much wider margins.(2.2 >>STRANGEST Presidencies in it's history .  It’s no secret that our presidential campaigns have morphed into a “billionaire’s playground,” even as the right to vote has become more constrained. These days, it could be said that the only group of citizens that automatically mobilizes for such events is “the billionaire class” (as Bernie Sanders calls it).  Increasingly, many of the rest of us catch the now year-round spectacle demobilized in our living rooms, watching journalists play... gasp!... journalists on TV and give American democracy that good old Gotcha!, election 2016 is Donald Trump.  For a historical equivalent, you would have to imagine P.T. Barnum, who could sell any “curiosity” to the American public, running for president. (3)>>Right now he is drawing up a cabinet of the most HARD LINE  Republicans. It looks like draining the swamp means surrounding himself with the same old pols who have been around for decades now that we have to come to know and love, starting with blowhard Gingrich and nutty Giuliani. Another name being thrown around is John Bolton. (Remember him)?  In the same spirit, maybe he should check out whether Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz and the rest of the Bush neo-cons are available. I mean, what could possibly go wrong?(3.2)>>The nightmare is only beginning. Mr. Donald Trump, would be dangerous as president. He said he wouldn’t want, quote, ‘such a hot head with his finger on the nuclear codes.’ You, as well, have raised concerns about Mr. Trump’s temperament. You’ve dismissed him as an entertainer. Would you feel comfortable with Donald Trump’s finger on the nuclear codes?” (4)>> I just don't know how much of Mr. Obama's own "failures" made a angry bunch of people take a hardline approachEveryone remembers 2008. Barack Obama had been elected after promising to end needless wars, lift up the poor and minorities, and stand up to the big banks among others. However, once elected, Wall Street banks chose his cabinet and transition team and Obama’s presidency was not all that different than a third term of his predecessor, George W. Bush, giving the office of the president nothing more than a face lift. Fast forward 8 years later and history seems to be repeating itself. Donald Trump, a billionaire whose campaign was based around strong anti-establishment feelings and corruption-busting promises, appears to have followed in Obama’s footsteps by surrounding himself with Washington insiders, bankers, and a slew of other decidedly “establishment” characters.
