Obama's Strategy ?

Obviously the Obama administration is at it's weakest ever . The President said “we don’t have a strategy yet” to fight the Islamic State.  This is extremely disturbing. The President is suggesting that we are expending military assets in a far off land with no strategy, Does anyone else find this absurd? As expected, media pundits are having a field day dissecting President Barack Obama’s statement yesterday that, when it comes to dealing with the *** Islamic State (the militant group also known as ISIS), what he said leaves a open door to criticism . With Americans held hostage , and also knowing by the State Department that  (1). The New York Times reports: “American intelligence and law enforcement agencies have identified nearly a dozen Americans who have traveled to Syria to fight for the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, the militant group that the Obama administration says poses the greatest threat to the United States since Al Qaeda before the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.” Really? The president didn't say IS was the “greatest threat” to the United States at his press conference. He didn't even say it was a direct threat, of any type, to the United States. Previously he famously called IS the “J.V.” team. I am still trying to make sense on what our Government leaders are doing in this public embarrassment , it seems that they are burying their heads. Our foreign policy  my readers  in a quagmire because of the  Obama administration .
Why America does not have a strategy .
America did not handle Russia in diplomatic way over the Ukraine . First place if we want to build a "coalition of the willing" we need Russia in order to fight the IS ( Islamic State ), we also need to support the Assad regime . America should not have sided with Ukraine , it is in my view a vary bad political move that is hurting us igniting a cold war that we don't need .  America needs Iran  in order to set things in better order in Iraq . So the nations over heated response with Russia is hurting us more . (2) . The President of the United States took a back seat to play golf instead . If Obama nor the US congress can find common ground and accord then there is none   The US must never again attempt to go it alone in that region it,s inviting far more severe problems for the US which are designed to draw the US military into another decades of unattainable wars Obama has events, and the dire consequences from another wrong move exactly correct Next up what will the dysfunctional congress actually do? Obama’s rapid fire foreign policy colossal failures are too numerous to even catalog here. But this latest dubious achievement of the Obama reign is most troubling. The success and meteoric rise of the Islamic State is a direct result of the foreign policy of this president’s regime.

 Russia's President Putin's wisdom.
'In an op-ed piece published Wednesday in The New York Times, Russian President Vladimir Putin wrote that a US strike would create more victims, spread the conflict beyond Syria, and potentially “unleash a new wave of terrorism.”' Putin's was wise enough to warn  : “A strike would increase violence and unleash a new wave of terrorism. It could undermine multilateral efforts to resolve the Iranian nuclear problem and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and further destabilize the Middle East and North Africa. It could throw the entire system of international law and order out of balance.” Around this time last year, the West was gearing up for military action against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, who was accused of carrying out chemical weapons attacks on his own people. That intervention never came to pass, not least because domestic public opinion in countries such as Britain and the US was opposed to further entanglements in the Middle East.
The Islamic State could  Conquer all of Iraq.
Republicans immediately jumped on the President's comment during a news conference Thursday by saying it proved their longstanding complaint that his foreign policy failed to seriously respond to the terrorist threat from Sunni jihadists in the Syrian civil war. As Congress and the President go on bickering in indecisiveness there is a greater possibility that the IS will take Baghdad , or more of Iraq. Karl Rove, Fox News analyst and former George W. Bush administration adviser, said he was "appalled" by the president's comment. "He was warned about the role that IS was playing inside Syria, and he has had all that time to develop a strategy about what to do about IS in Syria and he still doesn't," Rove told Fox News.

NOTES AND COMMENTS:
*** It sets up the United States as the boogeyman all Muslims must fight because Americans killed thousands of Muslims during their occupation of Iraq, calling their deaths “collateral damage.” (1) .recent article in the New Republic compared the first two editions of Dabiq with Inspire, saying the new magazine provided a more “comprehensive attempt to recruit westerners” than its Al-Qaida predecessor. Al-Hayat Media, an important part of the Islamic State’s propaganda machine, released the third issue of its English-language jihadist publication Dabiq Friday. It released its first two editions of the magazine written in the style of Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula’s Inspire magazine earlier in August. (2) .Fox News host Megyn Kelly expressed frustration over President Barack Obama’s decision to attend fundraisers in New York and Rhode Island Friday, telling him instead to “get back and start governing.”Kelly questioned what Obama, who returned this week after spending two weeks on vacation in Martha’s Vineyard, is thinking with his plan to attend a series of fundraisers in the midst of international chaos.“Really? He’s going to take a timeout from all the work he’s been doing in the Vinyard to go do some fundraising while we consider whether we need to bomb Syria and perhaps put boots on the ground,” the host said on her show Wednesday.

American Police brutality : An opinion .

Law enforcement goes deadly.
The militarization of law enforcement across the land is but one aspect of an increasingly hostile class war being wages by those atop the social-economic hierarchy against the masses of common folks. The recent police shootings that have made it to the media over the years..Yes we live in a violent nation , there is no logical reason for example that the bad guys have out gunned the law because of America's gun law lobby protecting 2nd Amendment rights.  America now has been accused of slipping into a police state by it's international critics like Russia who recently said for example . " Why point the finger at Us , when you can't take care of your own problems ?".  I have noted an increase in police brutality , over the years  things like excessive fore , violation of Amendment rights  and most of all the "right to remain silent"  has been taken away when you are cuffed into the squad car. Resisting arrest is the most dangerous thing an American can do , your likely to have the "shit" beaten out of you. The American police force is not your friend as they were long ago  , it's not the British Bobbie who holds a baton . It's the gestapo reborn . Police shootings and use of deadly force remain different in all states according to the civil codes . The Police can use "deadly force " if the officer has determined that which a person uses, causing—or that a person knows, or should know, would create a substantial risk of causing—death, serious bodily harm or injury. In most jurisdictions, the use of deadly force is justified only under conditions of extreme necessity as a last resort, when all lesser means have failed or cannot reasonably be employed .So deadly force is a last "resort" , or should be in the case of an arresting officer. In respects  Was the shooting by police officer Darren Wilson an illegal act or reasonable force?  The case now focuses on Ferguson Missouri ,  Brutal images of heavily armed police clashing protesters pushed US President Barack Obama to question the militarization of the law enforcement, as he reportedly ordered a probe into police use of military gear against Americans.  This brings us to the question of police brutality.
< Police attempt to control demonstrators protesting the killing of teenager Michael Brown on August 18, 2014 in Ferguson, Missouri. *** The probe will focus on whether the police should be receiving this kind of gear in the first place, on how it is currently being used, and whether the officers are being properly trained for it, according to senior administration and law enforcement officials. America has already a military mindset, compounded with excessive firepower, which is turning many American communities into veritable tinderboxes, which only requires the slightest provocation to spiral into senseless violence and death. During President Obama’s gun control push, he argued that “weapons of war have no place on our streets;” but as Radley Balko has amply documented in his 2013 book, Rise of the Warrior Cop, local police are often equipped with weapons powerful enough to conquer a small country. Police use of highly armed SWAT teams has risen by 1,500 percent in the last two decades, and many police departments have cultivated an “us vs. them” mentality toward the public they ostensibly serve. Although possession of these weapons does not cause misconduct, as the old saying goes, when you have a hammer everything begins to look like a nail. “Police brutality” is great catchphrase for generating emotion, but coming to grips with it requires more understanding.
NOTES AND COMMENTS:
*** FBI statistics show that crime in the U.S.—including violent crime—has been trending steadily downward for years, falling 19% between 1987 and 2011. The job of being a police officer has become safer too, as the number of police killed by gunfire plunged to 33 last year, down 50% from 2012, to its lowest level since, wait for it, 1887, a time when the population was 75% lower . Given the good news on crime, what are we to make of a report by the Justice Policy Institute, a not-for-profit justice reform group, showing that state and local spending on police has soared from $40 billion in 1982 to more than $100 billion in 2012. Adding in federal spending on law enforcement, including the FBI, Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, the Drug Enforcement Agency and much of the Homeland Security Department budget, as well as federal grants to state and local law enforcement more than doubles that total. A lot of that money is simply pay and benefits. The federal Bureau of Justice Statistics reports that the ranks of state and local law enforcement personnel alone swelled from 603,000 to 794,000 between 1992 and 2010. That’s about two-thirds as many men and women as the entire active-duty US military. What these statistics make clear is that policing in America is ramping up even as the crime rate is falling.

Islamic State must be stopped.

There is much speculation that reading the reports that the nation is a bit unease in a pre-911  mode . This whole situation in Iraq , and Syria is making  America look like a morass .  The Islamic State is proving to be a political embarrassment to the  ***Obama administration . NEWS reports indicate that Hundreds of  (1).American citizens are among the roughly 12,000 ruthless fighters backing the IS-led Islamic State's reign of terror in the Middle East, according to a new report. The shocking revelation comes only days after video of journalist James Foley, a U.S. citizen, was released showing him savagely beheaded by a terrorist with a British accent. In my blog posting awhile back I noted that the jihadists appear not to be "Arabs", but appear to have features that racially consistent with Europeans . I warned that they look like Nazi's , or have some Nazi elements rather than being "Muslims" American and European officials are concerned about the growing numbers of their citizens taking up the mujahedeen cause, according to the National Journal"IS today represents a direct and growing threat to the United States... including hundreds of Europeans and Americans who can travel freely with Western passports," according to the Journal. The inhumane murder of Foley deserves a Teddy Roosevelt style declaration of war , but The President cannot declare war on the Islamic State. The power to declare war rests with congress. America can not allow it's citizens to be killed , nor should we treat these terrorists as American citizens and give them "rights" under the Constitution****  as if they were Americans , they legally can't be tried in the same way but  that have to be  dealt with in a way as 'enemy combatants' . Recently  A Republican congressman warned Americans that President Obama would not be able to adequately protect the nation from the threat posed by the Islamic State in Iraq and Greater Syria (IS) —  (2) the terrorist organization that has taken over large parts of Iraq — because the administration’s policy is being guided and influenced by “Muslims.” . ALTHOUGH the claims this Congressman might be bogus , their could be a "red herring" in it unless Mr. Obama acts . President Barack Obama, may soon have to end a two-week working vacation in Martha's Vineyard, has not yet been presented with military options for attacking Islamic State targets beyond two important areas in Iraq, said White House deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes. U.S. forces have already had one direct ground engagement with Islamic State militants in Syria. The White House said this week that a rescue mission this summer aimed at securing the freedom of Foley, Sotloff and a handful of other American hostages led to a firefight in which a number of militants were killed. The hostages were not at the location. The United States is taking the Islamic State militants far more seriously now than it did six months ago, when Obama told the New Yorker magazine that they were the "JV team," which is short for "junior varsity" and means they are not the best players on the field."We will do what's necessary to protect Americans and see that justice is done for what we saw with the barbaric killing of Jim Foley. So we're actively considering what's going to be necessary to deal with that threat, and we're not going to be restricted by borders," Rhodes said. But the current Islamic State threat — a stated desire to repeat the Foley murder on a global scale — has grown in the fertile soil of American ambiguity. The Islamic State took eastern Syria, and the U.S. did almost nothing. IS took Fallujah in January, and the U.S. did little. The group took Mosul in June, seized hard currency and American weapons, changed its name to the Islamic State and declared the caliphate, and the U.S. urged Iraqi political reform, while ramping up our intelligence capabilities. It took direct military threats against Irbil and Baghdad, and an imminent threat of genocide against the Yazidis, for America to begin limited airstrikes.Again the warnings were unheeded .

NOTES AND COMMENTS:
***Obama gives a speech concerning the beheading of an American and is on the golf course 10 minutes later.THEN OBAMA wants to treat IS terrorists as mere criminals? He wants to bring them back to the USA for a trial and give them the same rights as a US citizen in a US court. -- Not a good Idea. (1). What kind of Americans would ever want to join these murdering bastards?I'm ashamed that so many Americans would want to support these terrorists. IS should be exterminated. Including any Americans or Europeans who want to take up their cause. (2). For months, Obama has been struggling with how to get it right this time -- how to contain and eradicate the Islamic State without making the United States the Muslim world’s enemy.

Rick Perry's indictment............

First Chris Christie , and now Rick Perry.
Is there some "plan"on  going for 2016 ?
(1). Chris Christie has a brother in common with , and  it's  (2) .Texas Gov. Rick Perry  who arrived at a county courthouse Tuesday for booking on two felony counts of abuse of power for carrying out a threat to veto funding for state public corruption prosecutors. It's sad , the Republican party bucket like the Democrat is full of leaking holes. Everything is bigger in Texas…They have indicted Perry for what? A VETO? He vetoed a bill which would have funded the Texas ethics watchdog, the Public Integrity Unit under the “leadership” of one Travis County District Attorney Rosemary Lehmberg.According to the Travis County Texas grand jury, Perry ABUSED his power as the Governor by first THREATENING to use his veto to defund the unit and then…by actually DOING what he SAID he would do. The verdict in the case of State of Texas vs. James Richard “Rick” Perry is already in: Rick Perry is not just innocent, he’s being railroaded by liberal Democrats in a vindictive, politically motivated prosecution. The New Yorker’s Amy Davidson wrote that she “felt sorry” for Rick Perry and compared the case against the governor to the congressional Republicans’ lawsuit against Barack Obama.Even legal analysts seemed strangely lazy about the whole thing. UC-Irvine law professor and blogger Rick Hasen admitted he hadn’t “studied Texas law or the indictment closely enough” but nonetheless went on to make the sweeping claim that the indictment represents the “criminalization of politics.” However, Texans for Public Justice, one of the groups behind Rick Perry’s indictment charges, is part of a “progressive” coalition that has received $500,000 from liberal billionaire George Soros. According to an Open Society Institute press release, OSI has given $500,000 to help form a coalition that “could change the way the progressive community engages public policy in Texas.” Besides Texans for Public Justice, this coalition includes Texans Together, the Sierra Club, Texas Legal Services, La Fe Policy Research and Education Center, Public Citizen, and the Center for Public Policy. Ron Paul is no fan of Gov. Rick Perry, but the three-time presidential candidate is coming to the side of his fellow Lone Star State Republican."This is pure politics, I tell ya. This is really a joke," Paul told MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell on Monday. The former Texas congressman made sure to mention that he doesn't "generally defend our governor very much," saying Perry's record on civil liberties and foreign policy is "a disaster." But in this case, he added, "the abuse of power comes more from the DA's office than the governor's office." We'll be seeing a lot of political maneuvering between now and November... and a lot of people losing their souls in the process

NOTES AND COMMENTS:
(1). They were terrified of Christie, and Christie has been severely damaged. They were worried about Scott Walker and now Walker has been tainted. They watched as Rick Perry began to rise from the ashes of 2012 and have now tried to strike him down. This is the Democratic party of Barack Obama. (2). Perry, a potential 2016 presidential candidate, is accused of trying to coerce a Democratic official who oversees an agency that investigates public corruption to resign after she was arrested on a drunken driving charge. He threatened to veto millions from her public integrity unit if she didn’t, leading to criticism he had overstepped his authority. One charge Perry was indicted on, abuse of official capacity, is a first-degree felony that could carry from five to 99 years in prison; a second charge, coercion of a public servant, is a third-degree felony that carries a punishment of two to 10 years, according to The Associated Press. The indictment is a blow to Perry just as he’s trying to rehabilitate his image after a disastrous 2012 presidential run. But he also is the third major potential White House candidate on the Republican side — the others being Govs. Chris Christie of New Jersey and Scott Walker of Wisconsin — to face legal problems at a time when no clear GOP standard-bearer has appeared in the run-up to 2016.

Michael Brown & Ferguson Police .

One senseless robbery led to another senseless
shooting by a officer of the law.
Police shootings are becoming more numerous , just as much as mass shootings that plague our nation. You have to look at the latest one with a microscope . There are two "versions" as to what happen to teen Michael Brown. The first "version" is the "white" interpretation of the story , the second is the "black" version to the so called "eyewitness" accounts. Either account verify two things that race , and crime do mix , and the outcome always ends in some police violence.  (1) Michael Brown first of all should not have stolen cigars , according to the report in the white version filed by the police , as well as a camera evidence there was already a warrant for Brown's arrest , the police report calls it a "strong armed robbery" in progress . The actions of the officer I do have to question , when he shot Brown , the officer took the law into his own hands rather than bringing the suspect into custody So a 18 year old kid with no criminal history goes into QT takes some cigarettes. It goes out on the radio the cop comes on scene and shoots him and
***doesn’t arrest the other guy. This is wrong and reeks of unlawful use of force. . Ok,  EVERYONE deserves "justice" even  in the case of  (2) Brown who stole a bunch of cigars , but now NO one is a clear WINNER since the officer killed the suspect who was unarmed .    Police revealed the identity Friday of the officer who shot and killed unarmed teen Michael Brown, along with a report alleging that Brown and a friend stole cigars from a convenience store shortly before the shooting.  Yes, the police report state that there was a warrant for Brown's arrest , and the officer who shot him was looking for the suspect while "canvasing" the neighborhood . ALL THOUGHFerguson Police Chief Thomas Jackson told reporters the alleged “robbery does not relate to the initial contact between the officer and Michael Brown.” The Ferguson police officer who shot Michael Brown didn’t stop him because he was suspected in a recent robbery, but because he was “walking down the middle of the street blocking traffic,” the city’s police chief said Friday. Sure enough it sounds like "race profiling" to a lot of people in this convoluted world. . So Brown's walking down the middle of the street made it all to suspicious to the officer , you use your head , if you were walking down the middle of the street  that might indicate some kind of intoxication ? . Now the real truth to this story. There is nothing based on the facts that have been placed before us that can justify the execution style shooting  of Brown  by this police officer as according the "black" version ,  he held his hands up, which is the universal sign of surrender.

The "black" version of the story :

“I saw the barrel of the gun pointed at my friend,” said Dorian Johnson, 22. “Then I saw the fire come out of the barrel.”Johnson, in an exclusive interview with msnbc, said what began as an order by a police officer to ‘get the f— onto the sidewalk’ quickly escalated into a physical altercation and then, gunfire.

The "white" version of the story:

The police say the officer shot Brown after the teen shoved the officer and tried to wrestle the officer’s gun from him.

Concluding thoughts:

However, this does not change a thing about the misconduct of police. Brown was still unarmed when officer Wilson shot him. The community had every right to be outraged as they witnessed an officer of the law, play the role of judge, jury, and executioner. The aftermath of the incident, in which police presence was raised to the point of marshal law, is completely independent of the alleged robbery as well. The overzealous reaction of the heavily militarized police force, injuring protesters, tear gassing and shooting rubber bullets at journalists, and setting houses on fire, was a complete and unnecessary overreaction to the peaceful protests.
NOTES AND COMMENTS:
(1). Alleged The haul: a $48.99 box of cigars, according to the documents. (2). After seeing the big gentle giant assault a store owner and steal. I feel duped listening to his friend Dorian give interviews on TV but fail to leave out what had been done prior to Brown getting shot. Whether the incident with this cop had anything to do with his thug behavior where is the responsibility for that. Yes putting to hands in the air is the international code for surrender. What is the the international code for the sales clerk being assaulted? Browns creditability is in question now for me. Where is the accountability for ones actions. I’m a firm believer in cause in effect. Whether the officer knew Brown was a suspect or not. I don’t care if your white, black, purple, green or the damn color clear. It’s about personal accountability so take a big whiff and wise up! *** Dorian Johnson, Which leads to the natural question: “why wasn’t he arrested” ? Dorian Johnson, the friend of Michael Brown who claims he witnessed the police shooting death of the 18-year-old in Ferguson, Missouri, has an outstanding arrest warrant for theft, according to authorities.Barbara Schaffer, court clerk for the Municipal Court of Jefferson City, confirmed to WND there is a warrant for Johnson’s arrest for a 2011 incident.  Johnson was arrested June 24, 2011, and a trial was set for July 31, 2013, but he did not appear in court, authorities said.According to the arrest report, obtained by WND, Dorian J. Johnson, 22, was arrested June 24, 2011, by Jefferson City, Missouri, police after a report of a suspect walking away from an apartment with a package that contained a backpack. Police reported Johnson lied to them about his identity.  Police reported Johnson lied to them about his identity. Dorian Johnson got a break from law enforcement on the warrant (gasp! I thought all young black men and teenagers were hunted down like “dogs.”)Now this time around the FBI guaranteed him immunity for his testimony, according to his own lawyer. What’s blatantly negligent reporting is that even though Johnson’s lawyer says his client admitted it is him and Mike Brown on the tape and yes, Mike Brown stole cigarellos, the MSM acts as if there is some dispute whether that’s Brown on the tape. So, they believe what Johnson says about the shooting, but not what he verifies on an actual video tape?? Sadly, their audience is apparently willfully ignorant enough to buy what they’re selling. Boggles a fair and intelligent brain, doesn’t it??!!

American Foreign Policy : A Satire.

Almost a decade ago , German satirist Volker Pispers ( This is a clip ) outlining the foreign policy of the US of A.  I couldn't help but notice the similarities between what you do in the game and how America typically deals with other countries (specifically third world countries). Obviously, the game is way more over the top and is almost comedic-ally cheesy, Is there anyone who can confirm whether or not this idea holds water? Our Country has been in practice using  (1) Gunboat diplomacy is the use of military troops to maintain hegemony over a sphere of influence, usually associated with the age of imperialism and colonialism. odd we don't allow countries like China and Russia to do the same , but  I am seeing it how the United States is handing Russia , and the Ukraine situation ,Ukraine remains in turmoil. Its lurch into chaos suggests that Washington, for all its pious noises about compromise, was never really interested in dealing with Moscow on a basis of mutual concessions. Despite the reemergence of Russia, particularly after the war with Georgia in 2008, Washington apparently does not want to accept that Russia is back as a strong and independent power intent on protecting its own national interests. And so Washington’s actions have led to the current confrontation between Russia and the West.  . Since Vietnam war., U.S. foreign policy often failed to realize its objectives and proved to be counterproductive. Although anti-communism posed as the principal guide to foreign policy, the same policies continued after the Cold War. Counter-insurgency rarely encountered insurgents and at times promoted insurgency. In almost all cases, force replaced diplomacy and military policy dictated foreign policy. *** President Obama's foreign policy, many wonder , In a major foreign policy speech, while running for president in July 2008, candidate Obama outlined his goals: "Instead of alienating ourselves from the world, I want America -- once again -- to lead ... I will focus this strategy on goals essential to making America safer: ending the war in Iraq responsibly; finishing the fight against al-Qaeda and the Taliban; securing all nuclear weapons and materials from terrorists and rogue states; achieving true energy security; rebuilding our alliances to meet the challenges of the 21st century... [and] to engage China on common interests." The claim that the rise of IS could have been prevented if the Obama administration had not armed Syrian rebel forces is made with unjustified certitude. It's worth noting that IS is now fighting in significant part with U.S. armaments taken from a fleeing Iraqi army, which seemed a much safer bet to equip than the hodgepodge of Syrian rebel factions.President Barack Obama was defensive and, by one account, "fuming." He felt that the criticism of his approach was unfair. He had clear ideas about how to manage America's global interests. In his own words, they centered on a single concept: "Don't do stupid shit."

NOTES AND COMMENTS:
*** I don't want to bash Obama , but as I critic for me he made a mistake in dealing with Russia . First,  America should have dealt with Mr. Putin directly about Ukraine , and not SIDED with the revolutionary Ukrainian government . You have to look at the situation with caution , Russia is a vary important ally , and Frankly Ukraine and Crimea were always part of Russia , and it's in the Russian field operations .(1) The "gunboat" diplomacy has been ruinous to the United States since it's been in practice. One of the worst policies is selling weapons to rouge states , that later are used to kill American service men in war . We armed the rebels in Syria , who are now killing in Iraq as the "Islamic State". Spreading democracy has often been cited as one of the USA’s primary goals in foreign relations. However, American troops have often been more successful in limiting the reach of Communism, rather than establishing successful American-style democracies. Often, the US would rather support an authoritarian dictator—which directly contradicts democratic values—than allow a Communist or Socialist government to be established. Lets not forget the Invasion of Iraq a total blunder cost America trillions of dollars.

Airstrikes against ISL are late.

The airstrikes against ISL ( Islamic State of Iraq , and Syria ) are a bit late . I warned that a military action was coming . I'm glad the president is doing something about this. Maybe we should have done something earlier ? President Obama said on Saturday that the airstrikes and humanitarian assistance drops he ordered last week in Iraq could go on for months, preparing Americans for an extended military presence in the skies there as Iraq’s leaders try to build a new government. “I don’t think we’re going to solve this problem in weeks,” Mr. Obama told reporters before leaving for a two-week golf-and-beach vacation on Martha’s Vineyard. “This is going to be a long-term project.” (3) Obama does not want to engage (1) . ISL and is only taking limited action for political expediency. He knows if he does nothing on behalf of the Christians and allows them to be slaughtered that will reflect poorly on the Dem Senatorial candidates up for re-election this November.  This whole nightmare was unleashed way back when our nations (5) Government ( Obama Administration ) was supporting the Syrian rebels against Assad . America armed the rebels and " created"  ISL ,  No doubt the "Armored Carriers" used by the Terrorists to Fire on Innocent Christian Civilians were those provided by the US.  Most of the minorities fleeing the Jihadists are mostly the obscure sect of  ***Yazidis "being indiscriminately attacked " , airstrikes began with a mix of fighter jets and drones that targeted militants firing on Yazidis near the town of Sinjar. The Kurdish capital, Erbil, once an island of pro-American tranquillity, was in the path of rampaging Sunni militants, the chairman, Gen. Martin E. Dempsey, told the president. And to the west, the militants had trapped thousands of members of Iraqi minority groups on a barren mountaintop, with dwindling supplies, raising concerns about a potential genocide.  (2).Looming over that discussion, and the decision to return the United States to a war (4)  Mr. Obama had built his political career disparaging, was the specter of an earlier tragedy: the September 2012 attack on the diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, which killed four Americans, including Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens, and has become a potent symbol of weakness for critics of the president. Of course the entire Stock markets around the world fell and oil surged, as investors reacted to news that the US will carry out airstrikes on Iraq.  Yet there is a contradiction between the extreme narrowness of the missions handed to American commanders, and the breadth of the crisis that senior American officials are starting to describe in Iraq. It is not clear whether Mr Obama and his inner circle consider spiralling instability in Iraq in and of itself a threat to American national security. Iraqi politicians have been wrangling over the creation of a new government for weeks. In a not so subtle nudge, Mr Obama said that more American assistance would be on offer once a new government was in place.

NOTES AND COMMENTS:
(1). Given the context of arab on arab violence (turn on your TV), or the ISIS monsters beheading kids in Irag Perhaps the greatest indication of moral decay within Islamic civilization is not the existence of ISIL itself, but rather the fact that ISIL has not been condemned by moderate Sunni Arab countries. Their silence pulls away the veil on the rot within and reveals the inherent weakness of moderate Islam.*** Yazidizs , here is a bit of interesting trivia about this minority sect. The Yazidi (also YezidiÊzidîYazdaniایزدیانԵզդիներЕзиды) are a Kurdish-speaking ethno-religious community who practice an ancient syncretic religion linked to Zoroastrianism and early Mesopotamian religions. The Yazidi are "devil worshippers." (2).  Most Americans wanted out of Iraq and President Obama fulfilled his pledge - how is it his fault that, in the face of suicidal religious fanatics, the Iraqi Army just dropped their arms and ran away? The problems of the region are far older than any of our recent presidents so it's not really honest to blame the ISIS assault on Obama. I'm definitely not a "hawk" and I'm tired of paying for bogus wars (3). Shortly before seven on Friday morning, US aircraft dropped two 500-pound bombs on artillery controlled by Islamic militants in northern Iraq. Barack Obama, as The New York Times noted, is now the fourth US president in a row to launch military action in that country. (4). President Barack Obama badly underestimated ISIS. Klein pivots off an Obama quote from New Yorker Editor David Remnick’s remarkable interview with the president “Going the Distance,” in January. (5). Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's book "Hard Choices" claims that the United States was involved in the creation of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).

Remarks about Pelosi.

***Nancy Pelosi could vary well run
for President of the United States.
In an unusual breach of decorum, even for the divided Congress, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi chased Rep. Tom Marino across the House floor, taking offense at comments by the Pennsylvania Republican during debate on the border funding bill Friday night.“We don’t have law and order,” Marino began as he wrapped up his comments on the border supplemental. “My colleagues on the other side don’t want to do anything about it.” Rep. Pelosi’s irrational rage and off the wall behavior aren’t caused by Marino’s remarks, but rather Pelosi’s inability to accept the reality that she squandered her time as Speaker for a broken Health Care system, and enacted immigration legislation, the DREAM Act, which no doubt was one of many catalysts to the current humanitarian, and near constitutional, crisis at the border. I have seen Nancy Pelosi speak, if she was drunk or on some kind of relaxant. Her thought process is that of someone who doesn’t have their full mental capacity. I still have a hard time believing she is a legitimately elected official. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi blamed Republicans for “living dangerously” in the current stalemate in budget negotiations. Her comments come a day after President Obama took a hard line, no-negotiation stance over the looming crisis. She probably is. Most of the long serving politicians and judges are probably in such bad health that they should step down but won’t because they are addicted to power. They can’t be voted out either because of the party machines. Some of the men at the Constitutional Convention wanted term limits written into the Constitution and indeed many of the states had term limits already. It’s a crying shame that didn’t happen. The country would have been spared a great deal of misery if it had. Years ago, Pelosi seemed poised to lead the Democrats for years to come. They reclaimed the majority in 2006 and, after the 2008 elections, held nearly 260 seats — the biggest majority either party had claimed since the early 1990s. She spoke of establishing a lasting Democratic majority, only to see that vision crash in 2010. Most of the Democrats who lost, however, were from the moderate Blue Dog Coalition, strengthening the influence of Pelosi’s liberal base. Pelosi has been such a lightning rod for criticism that she should have resigned after the 2010 election.  There's no better time than now to do it, and pave the way to someone who might be able to accomplish something more for the country.

NOTES AND COMMENTS:
*** All kidding aside...inability to control outbursts of anger, and the need to express them physically, in an elderly person who has not previously shown that behavior - that's a common warning sign for dementia. Someone needs to ensure that Pelosi gets checked out.

Captain Trips, goes home : Ebola.

Ebola isn't our Captain Trips, You have just reminded me that I want to re read that book smile "The Stand" (1).  It's just plain sick , and I am not a medical expert , but I am a bit *** FEARFUL of the Ebola virus . The first known Ebola patient on U.S. soil, Dr. Kent Brantly, was flown into Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, today after contracting the disease in Liberia during the latest outbreak in West Africa which has claimed the lives of over 700.Reports indicate that there's a percentage of folks who survive with the correct treatment.  From the moment that it was  reported – because they could do it in secret, means that it is not one infected, will probably infected hundreds Ebola, infernal propagators that the NSA, CIA and FBI know who go walking in the American streets. Th irrationality of this is getting to me . We have been told that  the people with the Ebola can not be transmitted through the air, only by blood or fluids. But THEY have been infected with the white protective clothing from head to toe (yes, like in the movies), plus it also has been staff with the same type of hazmat suit with gloved hands. This has stoked concerns among the American public that Ebola could now spread inside the U.S., especially since the virus has been difficult to contain in Africa.“It sounds like the perfect script for a horror movie: A virus with no vaccine and no cure kills hundreds of people; despite containment efforts, it keeps spreading, but it’s actually all too real in West Africa, where doctors have said Ebola is now ‘out of control,’” wrote Sheila M. Eldred for Discovery News.Hospitals in America may not fare any better considering that antibiotic-resistant “nightmare bacteria” spread from one medical facility in 2001 to 46 states by 2013.  Conspiracy theory ? Take note , Model State Emergency Health Powers Act drafted in 2001 and President Obama’s latest executive order which mandates the apprehension and detention of Americans who merely show signs of “respiratory illness.”   Conspiracy theories, which in general have gained more legitimacy than ever, say the killer Ebola virus is really a planned, staged, and healthcare scam of an outbreak. With no known cure or vaccine, conspiracy theories claims include, a ploy to get folks to get checkups to the the virus being a CIA-manufactured weapon to a cover for “cannibalistic rituals.” How can we believe it's safe to have these people in the U.S. if the CDC won't tell us how they caught the disease? They knew the dangers, they were experienced medical personnel, and they still got it. I don't get it.

NOTES AND COMMENTS:
*** Ebola, according to the World Health Organization, is a disease with a “case fatality rate of up to 90 percent,” passed through close contact and bodily fluids. It has claimed more than 600 lives in Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and Guinea in an outbreak that health officials believe may have originated in the latter country as early as January, according to AP reporting. (1). The Stand, by Stephen King. Watch but better, read.

Islamic State in Iraq and Syria,“Made in the USA”.

Are these European Nazi's in disguise ?
There is a dangerous "threat" that soon might need serious military action .  (1) .The so-called  Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, or ISIS, wants to establish an Islamic state stretching from northern Syria into Iraq. And as the brutal terror group racks up victory after victory on the battlefield, more foreign fighters are considering joining their ranks. These foreign fighters are not Arabs by race , as searching for material for this post I have found that a great majority of them are from Asia , Europe  and shockingly enough (2). from the Americas. There are thousands from all across Europe in Syria and Iraq, according to some estimates. The Soufan group, a security consulting firm, believes there are around 700 from France, 800 from Russia and almost 300 from Britain. But these figures relate to people analysts have been able to track, and the true numbers may be even higher. And as ISIS's onslaught in Iraq grows, there are fears even more foreigners will be drawn to fight. Sounds crazy !?  yet unbelievable , how this madness all started You have to blame the United States of America. It all started way back when the United States was trying to topple the Assad regime in Syria, the American government was arming the Syrian rebels . The fact remains, however, that the US, the major European powers, and their regional allies all previously lent financial, military and political support to ISIS and similar groups, which have “Made in the USA” stamped all over them. They have, until now, played a significant part in Washington’s efforts to overthrow the regime of President Bashar al-Assad in Syria, as part of a broader effort to gain control of the region’s vast energy resources and transit routes. The United States created this "creeping terror" like it did in Afghanistan when the Soviet Union invaded that country. American arms were flowing , and training the Taliban fighters like Bin Ladin . This is just another repeat of the past 40 years . Well let ask ourselves who funded and brought the ultra reactionary ISIS movement into existence. As the author mentioned above, this ultra reactionary Islamist movement was created back in 2004 as part of Sunni insurgents fighting in Iraq against the US coalition forces. Back then it was funded by the Arab wealthy donors living in the Gulf. Later on when the so called Arab spring broke out these similar ideological forces played a decisive role in the Syrian civil war, and they were either directly or indirectly funded and armed by the US ,Turkey and the Arab regimes in the Gulf particularly Qatar and Saudi Arabia. Moreover, what happened was that once ISIS which stands for (Islamic state for Iraq and Syria) consolidated and expanded their territorial gains in some of the eastern parts of Syria they then started crossing into Iraq, and in the process took over major cities in an effort to topple the US backed Iraqi regime of Nour Al Maliki whom is also a major ally of Iran. This move in itself brought them into direct conflict with Iran and their Shiite allies living in Iraq, and also more importantly this exposed the double standard policy of the US imperialism in using these Islamist forces as Proxy tool in the Syrian War and at same time opposing them virulently in side Iraq.

NOTES AND COMMENTS:
(1). ISIS is an offshoot of Al Qaeda, the terrorist Islamic group previously headed by Osama bin Laden, the son of the wealthy owner of a construction company with close links to the House of Saud. Al Qaeda was formed in the late 1980s in Afghanistan with support from the CIA, which backed the mujahedin as part of its covert war that began in 1979 against the pro-Soviet regime in Kabul. (2). The United States has some historical experience. Since 9/11, 111 Americans have gone overseas to join jihadist fronts or seek training from terrorist groups abroad. Forty-seven were arrested on the way, 64 of them connected with jihadist groups abroad. Fewer than half of these returned; some were arrested abroad, some remain at large. The rest were killed—some in suicide bombings, two by U.S. airstrikes, at least two by their terrorist comrades. The most infamous American to have fought in Syria is Eric Harroun, who joined the Al Nusrah Front, and then turned himself in to US officials while in Turkey. Harroun later pled guilty to a weapons charge and was sentenced to time served.Other known American jihadists include Amiir Farouk Ibrahim, who was born in Pennsylvania on Oct. 30, 1980, according to his passport, which was found in an ISIS safe house last year. Ibrahim is thought to have been killed last year.Nicole Lynn Mansfield, an American from Flint, Mich., was killed in May 2013. She fought for Ahrar al Sham, an Islamist brigade that is part of the Islamic Front. One of Ahrar al Sham's top leaders, Abu Khalid al Suri, was also a senior al Qaeda leader and the personal representative to Ayman al Zawahiri in Syria, until he was killed by a suspected ISIS suicide attack in Aleppo in late February.
