The Clinton emails . So what now?

In Hillary Clinton’s  memoir, Hard Choices, about her time as secretary of state, she settles the Benghazi issue once and for all, assuring it will not come up again or haunt her in 2016. (1)>>Ha-ha, yeah, right It crept up again . While the  FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server while secretary of state has concluded with a recommendation that she not face criminal charges.  — The GOP just wont quit .  The GOP now is investigating the FBI . The government bureaucracy is  laughable . By finding no grounds for bringing criminal charges against Hillary Clinton over her private use of email, the FBI investigation has shattered the Republican Party’s email conspiracy theory. More committees , more witch haunts .Republicans in Congress are promising the headlines over Hillary Clinton's email server won't go away anytime soon.  "There are a lot of questions that have to beanswered. And so we're going to be asking those questions," House Speaker Paul Ryan told reporters, adding that it looked like Clinton had gotten preferential treatment. "We have seen nothing but stonewalling and dishonesty from Secretary Clinton on this issue, and that means there are a lot more questions that need to be answered."Ryan said Clinton should be barred from receiving classified briefings in the course of the campaign. He said he would be looking into whether Congress could take action to enact such a prohibition. And asked whether a special prosecutor should be appointed in the case, Ryan said he wouldn't "foreclose any option." Just more political nonsense from the GOP. Were they this appalled when Colin Powell used his own email acct for gov business when he was in the Bush administration? Don't recall any outcry over that. Anyone think that this is just politics? If GOP' ers in Congress worked as hard for the American people on legislation (that they are being PAID to do) opposed to "political investigations and other nonsense", maybe the American people would have a better opinion of them and maybe our country would be in better shape. Government waste of money .Well, maybe the House Republicans can have hearing and waste hundreds of millions of dollars just like they did with Benghazi , This is the standard way for Republicans and yet they cannot pass a single bill to take guns from terrorist .Even if we suppose that The Director of FBI was not pressured by Obama. Even if we believe that the meeting of Bill Clinton and Attorney General was a normal chat about grandchildren. Isn't the phrase of " Extreme Careless.." (2)>>GOING DEEPER. So the republicans are going to milk this as long as they can? Are they now going to question everything that the FBI does? Is this a pattern that if they don’t like a legal outcome they’re going to haul these people in front of congress,.  Hillary Clinton may avoid criminal charges, but the searing rebuke of her “extremely careless” email practices. But Hillary Clinton and her Democratic allies breathed a sigh of relief after Comey all but erased the possibility that she might be indicted, but is likely to reverberate through the November election and, if she wins, well into her presidency.

Wikileaks : Hillary emails .
Regardless of the projected outcome, the controversy remains lodged in the public consciousness, and WikiLeaks celebrated Independence Day by publishing 1,258 of Clinton’s emails. This data was released by the State Department in February (through a Freedom of Information request), and WikiLeaks gathered up all emails tied to the Iraq War in one tidy dump. The development comes after WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange said last month the website had gathered “enough evidence” for the FBI to indict Clinton. Even though he is doubtful that such an indictment is forthcoming. This first document dump from Clinton's private server is just one of many promised by Assange whose access to these emails will make him a major player in the election. While the FBI ultimately decided to give Clinton a pass, or as one GOP Congressman put it, a "get out of jail free" card

NOTES AND COMMENTS:
(1)>>Ha-ha, yeah, right It crept up again . she’s tried that a few times beforeIt's in the FBI report...it's there for everyone to read. Here's part of the statement from Comey:"From the group of 30,000 e-mails returned to the State Department, 110 e-mails in 52 e-mail chains have been determined by the owning agency to contain classified information at the time they were sent or received. Eight of those chains contained information that was Top Secret at the time they were sent; 36 chains contained Secret information at the time; and eight contained Confidential information, which is the lowest level of classification. Separate from those, about 2,000 additional e-mails were “up-classified” to make them Confidential; the information in those had not been classified at the time the e-mails were sent.None of these e-mails should have been on any kind of unclassified system, but their presence is especially concerning because all of these e-mails were housed on unclassified personal servers not even supported by full-time security staff, like those found at Departments and Agencies of the U.S. Government—or even with a commercial service like Gmail.Separately, it is important to say something about the marking of classified information. Only a very small number of the e-mails containing classified information bore markings indicating the presence of classified information. But even if information is not marked “classified” in an e-mail, participants who know or should know that the subject matter is classified are still obligated to protect it."Politifact said the FBI "clearly undercuts Clinton's defence". The Washington Pos tupgraded its verdict on the veracity of Mrs Clinton's classified information claims from two to four "Pinocchios". The Associated Press wrote that the FBI "left much of her account in tatters and may have aggravated questions of trust swirling around her Democratic presidential candidacy".(2)>>GOING DEEPER.enough to disqualifying a person as Hillary who actually (if any ) has been involved in criminal acts in the Whitewater, Vince Foster case and has been careless when her husband was engaged in sexual activities with Jennifer Flowers, Monica Lewinsky and many more when he was the governor of Arkansas and president? Is such person with lifelong carelessness worthy for presidency?
