Remarks about Pelosi.

***Nancy Pelosi could vary well run
for President of the United States.
In an unusual breach of decorum, even for the divided Congress, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi chased Rep. Tom Marino across the House floor, taking offense at comments by the Pennsylvania Republican during debate on the border funding bill Friday night.“We don’t have law and order,” Marino began as he wrapped up his comments on the border supplemental. “My colleagues on the other side don’t want to do anything about it.” Rep. Pelosi’s irrational rage and off the wall behavior aren’t caused by Marino’s remarks, but rather Pelosi’s inability to accept the reality that she squandered her time as Speaker for a broken Health Care system, and enacted immigration legislation, the DREAM Act, which no doubt was one of many catalysts to the current humanitarian, and near constitutional, crisis at the border. I have seen Nancy Pelosi speak, if she was drunk or on some kind of relaxant. Her thought process is that of someone who doesn’t have their full mental capacity. I still have a hard time believing she is a legitimately elected official. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi blamed Republicans for “living dangerously” in the current stalemate in budget negotiations. Her comments come a day after President Obama took a hard line, no-negotiation stance over the looming crisis. She probably is. Most of the long serving politicians and judges are probably in such bad health that they should step down but won’t because they are addicted to power. They can’t be voted out either because of the party machines. Some of the men at the Constitutional Convention wanted term limits written into the Constitution and indeed many of the states had term limits already. It’s a crying shame that didn’t happen. The country would have been spared a great deal of misery if it had. Years ago, Pelosi seemed poised to lead the Democrats for years to come. They reclaimed the majority in 2006 and, after the 2008 elections, held nearly 260 seats — the biggest majority either party had claimed since the early 1990s. She spoke of establishing a lasting Democratic majority, only to see that vision crash in 2010. Most of the Democrats who lost, however, were from the moderate Blue Dog Coalition, strengthening the influence of Pelosi’s liberal base. Pelosi has been such a lightning rod for criticism that she should have resigned after the 2010 election.  There's no better time than now to do it, and pave the way to someone who might be able to accomplish something more for the country.

NOTES AND COMMENTS:
*** All kidding aside...inability to control outbursts of anger, and the need to express them physically, in an elderly person who has not previously shown that behavior - that's a common warning sign for dementia. Someone needs to ensure that Pelosi gets checked out.
