The END of America's Drug WAR.

This "fake marijuana" can kill you
if you are not careful.
The day that synthetic marijuana appeared on the national market.  America's drug war came to a crashing end . I have read numerous articles on the new designer drugs that have been encroaching our society , that are now freely available to ***children . While the federal government grapples with "legalization" of "real marijuana" and the so called " Medicinal Marijuana " , just to distinguish it from the fake drugs that are now killing our kids . The synthetic stuff already has been "criminalized" as a scheduled 1 drug . This is an objective lesson to our nation that used prohibition over the years arresting people who grow and use real marijuana . YOU can't control anyone , they will find the way around it . They have already , with new out of the chemistry -alchemy cooked up batches of poisons. These poisons are being sold on the internet , some of them are mixed up with batches of herbs , most of them , or some of the herbs are combined with substances that mimic a real "high" , but with all accounts from the users , that some of the side effects mimic those of  (1). Jimsonweed . The issue with legalization of marijuana has been a vary long subject over the years , on this post I am going to put my thoughts on it later. The fake drugs have been Mixed by chemists in labs, mostly in Asia, synthetics are chemical compounds designed to mimic the effects of naturally occurring drugs like marijuana and cocaine while staying just inside the law. Because the newest compounds don’t yet appear on state and federal lists of illegal drugs, the sellers can market them as legal. As soon as authorities add a compound to the prohibited list, the chemists tweak the formula—ever so slightly—to make a new substance that purports to be legal. New research from the Colorado School of Medicine highlights the dangers of using synthetic marijuana, marketed under such brands as “Spice” or “K2.” The study, published in the New England Journal of Medicine, reports that in the late summer of 2013, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment was informed of an exceptionally sizable increase in the number of ER visits related to synthetic pot in the Denver metropolitan area.Specifically, between August 21 and September 19 of last year, 263 individuals who had consumed synthetic weed were admitted to emergency rooms, all suffering from similar symptoms including altered mental states, irregular heartbeats and seizures. Roughly ten percent of those cases were sent to intensive care for ventilator-assisted breathing. (2). Why are people going for the fake stuff , it's obvious that People turn to synthetic marijuana because of it being legal , afraid of prosecution, most business owners and "Bosses" will fire you for it because it is Illegal.

Marijuana legalization issues.

Marijuana as far away as California and Colorado, there’s growing anxiety that history is about to repeat itself. It's more likely that Cannabis  will be legal , and it will be sold much like alcohol in the next decade . I don't foresee it coming no later than 2020. I don't advocate it's use , for one our American society is full of drugs that already have screwed up our society , take for instance Oxycontin (Oxycodone HCl), or anything "approved" by the FDA. The old tale is the government only wants to feed you its OWN  proscribed drugs , rather than something that you can grow like (3).  Nicotine (tobacco) which is sold over the market , and it's just as dangerous and addictive.  Well its' coming An overwhelming majority of Americans believe that the legalization of marijuana is inevitable.  a half-dozen other states—Nevada, Arizona, and California among them—where advocates are looking toward 2016, when they hope the presidential election will turn out enough liberals to push those efforts across the finish line. All told, more than 1 in 5 Americans live in states where marijuana use has a legitimate chance to become legal between now and when President Obama leaves office. I don't think OUR nation is ready for any kind of legalization , we know much about the effects of alcohol use , what worries me is that the  (4) THC in marijuana is much higher in plants grown more than a century ago . The dangers of THC and alcohol use is known . Polydrug use is using more than one drug at the same time. People use drugs in combination to either increase their intoxication, or to increase the effect of the first drug taken. Sometimes people mix two drugs because they are already intoxicated and are no longer making rational decisions about their drug-taking and the wellbeing of themselves and those around them. The more drugs being used at the same time, the more likely it becomes that things will go wrong. MEANWHILE the Colorado experiment will have to scrutinized , if all hell breaks loose most likely the FEDS will  BE over that state in 2016 , in the long run think about this Even The President of the United States has used marijuana. Has it hurt his chances at succeeding in life? If he had gotten caught by the police during his college years, he may have very well still been in prison today! Beyond that, he would then be fortunate to even be able to find a minimum wage job that would consider hiring him with a permanent criminal record.Let's end this hypocrisy now!

NOTES AND COMMENTS:
***  Sold openly in stores, popular with kids and unpredictably dangerous, synthetic pot is just around the corner. (1). Jimsonweed .   is a tall herb plant. Jimsonweed poisoning occurs when someone sucks the juice or eats the seeds from this plant. You can also be poisoned by drinking tea made from the leaves, or by SmokingSome people use it as a recreational drug to cause hallucinations and a heightened sense of well-being (euphoria). (2). This is probably an urban legend, but I like to tell it anyway...Heard about this in college... A man was arrested for selling mj. He contested his arrest because he was selling grass. he would mow his yard, dry the clippings, bag it and sell it on campus. Students thought the product was great. Thus the police involvement. Since he was not selling anything illegal, the police tried to get him on false advertisement. But he never said anything other than he "had grass for sale." (3). NICOTINE comes from the Tobacco planet which is perfectly legal to grow in America . The strange thing about Tobacco is that it also when ingested  the same euphoric effects of Marijuana with out the hallucinations. Both "plants" have a common used in Ancient times  , both were grown by our Founding Fathers on plantations. (4). THC .Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), or more precisely its main isomer (−)-trans9-tetrahydrocannabinol((6aR,10aR)-delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol), is the principal psychoactive constituent (or cannabinoid) of thecannabis plant.
