SHORTAGES ARE COMING TO AMERICA .

The supply shortages are coming , cargo ships
stranded unable to send out supplies .
is there some sinister motive.
I guess we are going through a crisis after another crisis. While the Pandemic is one thing .
Well, it’s you. And me. And all of the people. And I do know why, high prices are coming for you.  The pandemic and recent events has also shown why many things should have at least some domestic manufacturing capability. The US should not depend on China or anywhere else for vital medical supplies, electronics or other important resources. It is fine to outsource to meet consumer demand but we need to have facilities that are producing these things too.(1)>>Blaming Covid is another .BUT Shortages are coming to America, lets look at some of the causes ..Officials say there could be as many as half a million shipping containers on (2)>>cargo ships off the ports of LA and Long Beach, waiting to be offloaded. THEY ARE Already here in The United States. Schools are struggling to get food to kids. In the rural parts of the country if your car breaks down it is 2+months to get fixed and so they lose their job..China doesn't really have to do anything at this point for it to keep spiraling. It seems that the  (3)>>STATE GOVERNMENT OF CALIFORNIA is to Blame . WE have not heard anything from Gov. Newsom on any action . Here is what we are being told "officially"   ' A number of factors are blamed for the bottleneck – the surge of the Delta variant throughout the world, lack of access to vaccines in some countries, a shortage of shipping containers, and another of truck drivers. Companies like Costco have been forced to charter their own container ships, but smaller companies hare having to pay higher freight charges. And most experts expect the shipping problems for months, and possibly years.'  Honestly I believe this is totally manufactured  I believe that there are not normal delays it's not just a labor thing it is absolutely manufactured , but by whom ?  ( 3.1)>>If so many ships are backed up at Los Angeles (and other ports) when does China run out of ships to fill? I'm sensing a VERY large disturbance in the Force! It makes no sense if China were behind it . The ONLY EXPLANATION is the Federal Government , its ALL HUSH HUSH to the public .The ships are all in a service rotation. General 6-8 ships in a service. So if a couple ships get stuck in the port then yeah, it delays how fast they can get back to China. It also delays getting empty containers back to China so it’s a snowball effect. Also a major shortage of rail cars in LA so they can’t unload the ships if there are no rail cars. It’s a mess right now.  CAN THERE BE ANYTHING MORE ???  (4)>>Truckers don’t want to enter California because it’s a no idle state. Cali and New York. They can’t rest in their trucks on the side of the road with the AC on. There’s plenty of work elsewhere that pays top dollar so they just say screw it. I ain’t going to California. Really can’t blame the drivers either. This is a big reason for the bottle neck.California is such a bizarre hybrid of good intentions paired with obtuse legislation. They try so hard to help that they cut their own limbs off. Shame all that gorgeous land is wasted by politics. Is it also because of too much federal money is keeping people home on unemployment or COVID inspired regulations or what? Sixty ships is mind boggling but I suspect that is far from all that are in a holding pattern to unload. The backlogs, despite new 24-hour shifts at several gateway ports, threaten to leave some retailers in the lurch for the all-important holiday shopping season, even those paying top-dollar to ship goods across the ocean.
Empty shelves at the Supermarket .
The global shipping crisis that is causing deepening shortages and shutdownsThe spectacle of dozens of ships queuing to enter jammed ports on America’s west coast has become a familiar sight in recent weeks, as global supply chains from China and the Far East suffer bottlenecks caused by a “perfect storm” of factors such as port closures caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, labour shortages and a lack of warehouse space. (5)>>Even within the last month, grocery stores were projected to continue to have increased prices on many food items and more shortages, according to Spectrum Local News. Apparently, over the past year, food prices have increased by more than 5%, which is the largest spur of inflation to occur since 2008. While customers might go to their local grocery stores only to find the shelves empty of some necessary items, there are some items you can go ahead and count out. People have been stocking up on select popular items, and they're quickly disappearing for the moment. The big out of stocks right now are canned goods, TP, paper towels, but even that is recovering for us in short order. Hand sanitizer and clorox wipes will be slow to recover. No way they were ready for a pandemic level demand. Milk, meat, eggs, bread... most of the staples have recovered quite well. While previously the blame was pointed  towards pandemic-driven panic buying for necessity goods like toilet paper and water bottles, this new situation is driven by supply-side shortages stemming from reduced manufacturing output, decreased labor, and most importantly, enormous shipping delays.
Higher Gas Prices & Gas shortages ???
A Biden quote, "Americans don't panic" stands out to me right now. (6)>>Gas Price gouging is not enough along with gas shortages that are coming . This whole quagmire is the blame of the Biden Administration .  (7)>>The national gas price average on Monday was $3.04, up eight cents from a week earlier and the most expensive in six years. The world is on the brink of an energy war.The cost of securing the supply of LNG has caused a political rift in Pakistan. Opposition politicians are demanding an investigation into the purchases of the state importer. The world is facing a massive battle between Asia, Europe, the Middle East and South America over the supply of LNG from exporters such as Qatar, Trinidad and Tobago and the United States. "We are in high demand from all of our customers and unfortunately we cannot satisfy all of them," Qatar's Energy Minister Saad Kaabi warned this month. US exporters are poised to supply more LNG than ever, as new projects will be launched later this year. But because more gas travels abroad, less will be available at home. Although gas prices in the US are significantly lower than in Europe and Asia, they are still trading near the highest level since 2014. Gas reserves are then below the five-year seasonal average. However, US shale miners are reluctant to increase mining because they fear it will reduce their profitability and discourage investors. The US Energy Consumers Association has asked the US Department of Energy to limit US exports until stocks return to normal. This could further exacerbate shortages abroad. The average person used to pay little attention to the evolution of gas prices in the market. This is not the case for oil, where OPEC's decision will almost immediately affect how much we pay for gas stations. But this winter, the world is likely to find out how dependent the global economy is on natural gas.
Over Regulation to cause "shortages" .
This is almost laughable . The News report that  (8)>>California could run out of Bacon is SERIOUS STUFF!. According to recent reports, the Golden State could run out of bacon in a matter of months, thanks to a change in local animal welfare laws. ... This could make California lose almost all of its pork supply starting on January 1, 2022. Over regulation could be one of the factors of food shortages California will begin enforcing an animal welfare proposition approved overwhelmingly by voters in 2018 that requires more space for breeding pigs, egg-laying chickens and veal calves. National veal and egg producers are optimistic they can meet the new standards, but only 4% of hog operations now comply with the new rules. It's not just bacon , but eggs , chicken products .Shortages at grocery stores are nowhere near as visible as they were at the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak, when shoppers flocked to stores to stockpile food and household staples. But supply in grocery store aisles has not fully recovered to pre-pandemic levels, and companies such as Costco and Sam's Club have recently reinstated purchase limits for customers on paper products and cleaning supplies.
Water shortages .
Entire western states could be rationing more water by 2022 . The Drought could be bringing California  (9)>>water rationing laws that could impede water flowing into residential homes and public places.  One immediate consequence of the water shortage has been a drastic reduction in the amount of surface water accessible to Californians. In a non-drought year, about 60% of the state’s water needs are met by tapping surface water from creeks, rivers, lakes and so forth. In a typical drought year, only about 40% can be accessed that way.  California only captures about half the water that falls here, and the other half just flows into the ground and ocean.Of the half we capture for our use, agriculture uses 80% and the other 20% goes to all of the residents, businesses, golf courses, schools… everything that isn’t agriculture. All the lawns, all the golf courses, and all the people in LA still only use 10% of the water that falls here. Isn’t that just crazy? We are the most populous state, yet we only need 10% of our water.People seem to forget California is mostly desert fed by one mountain range. The Sierra Nevada. There has been RECORD snow years in the last decade. 2011 & 2017 come to mind. However, the media gets more clicks through fear so...makes me wonder.
Trickle Down "economics" of Shortages .
Trickle down economics will create diverse wealth, not. Rich getting richer, while everyone else gets screwed out of a future.Shortage is the state of demand exceeding supply at a seller’s initial chosen price.  America is under the grip of laziness !  (10)>>The Biden economy is a BOMB !!!!When that happens, the seller faces a problem: who gets to buy and who doesn’t?  In a shortage the seller doesn’t have enough stock to satisfy demand at the current price, and nothing the seller does, including raising prices, will make more goods magically appear. Which is why we call it a shortage. Supply is falling short.  (11)>>Now politics are only in the business of getting more money and working less. Why does it seem like our elected officials only work half the year, and their pockets grow, while we work hard to be more broke. I know, I know, this is a rant and a little all over the place, but as a substituent of America's ideology, we were taught for this next phase, the government first says they will tell the truth. But what we’re experiencing is also the net result of decades of policy choices starting in the 1970s that emphasized consumer sovereignty over citizenship. The consolidation of power into the hands of private equity financiers and monopolists over the last four decades has left us uniquely unprepared to manage a supply shock. The problem seems to be getting worse, as the shortages pile on top of each other like a snake eating its tail. For instance, the inability to fix trucks means that truck drivers can’t haul boxes of goods, which might actually contain the parts needed to fix the trucks, and so forth. Then have some much B.S. and dumb people with smart phones, people are literally turning into sheep. That what's leads me to my point of the next phase. Complete control and regulations, while we peacefully allow it to happen. If you really think the mask, vaccines, and this huge political agenda are in our best interest?  (12)>>First they kick us out of our tax paid Washington D.C. and now they can pass whatever is best for the elites. Is working in Congress a service anymore, or a reward to vacation and pass policies while their pockets get deeper. Not trying to get people triggered, just needed to vent a little...

NOTES AND COMMENTS :
(1)>>Blaming Covid is another .1 (vaxed) person gets an asymptomatic or extremely mild case of covid and the port has to send them home and anyone who interacted with them, causing huge slowdowns and delays. Or someone's kid gets an (extremely mild or asymptomatic) infection and has to be sent home from school for 10 days, so mom or dad have to take unpaid leave. It's funny because everyone will acknowledge "covid is endemic" as an undeniable reality but then we continue to pull shit like this, which means we aren't actually willing to face that reality. We want to pretend like we can still eliminate this thing.   BY interpreting this correctly  am basically saying that Covid, labor issues, etc. caused shipping delays. Those issues caused companies to want more stock on hand so that they don’t run out next time there’s a shipping issue. That led to increased demand, which led to more shipping delays. There is SOMETHING GOING ON ???  (2)>>cargo ships off the ports of LA and Long Beach, waiting to be offloaded. The ships are stuck outside the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, California, which handle 40% of all cargo containers entering the country. But some social media posts claim, without citing evidence, that the Biden administration is keeping the ships backed up on purpose. They misleadingly imply the cargo backup is part of a plan to create shortages and later inflate fourth-quarter data to take credit for a strengthening economy.  The container crunch comes just as American shippers are trying to boost exports of everything from soybeans to grain meals to Asia. China is scooping up American crops to feed a hog herd that’s recovering from a deadly pig disease faster than most expected. The situation is so dire that some buyers are cancelling contracts, opting for bulk shipping methods, the most common for feed products, or delaying purchases to avoid high freight costs.t BUT he largest is a shortage of longshoremen and other transport workers, movement limitations due to covid, lack of communication between various points-of-entry, and increased demand as companies cast aside "just-in-time" and "lean distribution" practices in the supply chain industry. NOW it's all Biden's fault. Because of his immigration policy, the southern border are getting flooded so custom agents are pulled from the ports to help out on the southern border. As a result, there's are not a lot of agent clearing the cargo so it created a bottleneck. I said it doesn't sound correct and couldn't find anything about it online but he insisted that's because of the bias media doesn't want to make Biden looks bad.  (3)>>STATE GOVERNMENT OF CALIFORNIA is to Blame .   WE have not heard anything from Gov. Newsom on any action regarding the cargo back up . BUT As if California needed another calamity, a pipeline bringing oil into Southern California from an offshore drilling platform ruptured this month, causing an ecological disaster on Orange County beaches and lagoons. The cause of the rupture is still under investigation, but it may be the anchor of a cargo ship, dozens of which are stranded off the Southern California coast because of bottlenecks at major ports. In fact, while California is the nation’s seventh largest oil producing state, we consume roughly three times as much petroleum — principally for cars and other transportation — as we produce, and import enough oil from overseas producers, mostly in the Middle East, to refine a billion-plus gallons of gasoline that we burn each month. The Oil Leak is related to the Cargo crisis . I don’t see the government doing much about it though. And especially these giant corporations. They’re all about making as much money as possible and in the pockets of the government so it would take a total revamping as a whole. ( 3.1)>>If so many ships are backed up at Los Angeles (and other ports) when does China run out of ships to fill? After that went away the next issue was getting containers in china because demand shot up hard for US reopening inventory but the containers werent returning fast enough due to slow processing at the ports. Then in June China shut down some major ports due to covid so now we have a backlog of outgoing containers but the ships cant leave for several weeks and this messes up shipping schedules so shipping lines start skipping calling oakland and will only call LA/longbeach because they need to get back to china asap to clear that backlog. So now we have a shortage of containers, a shortage of ships and a backlog of outgoing goods from china. This supply and demand scenario sent container shipping costs through the f’n roof. It’s insane.Containers filled at the start of june took us until mid-july to be put on a ship then it gets to LA and parks because there’s so many damn ships waiting to berth creating a new backlog of containers being unloaded that need to be picked up by the trucks. It’s insane how long it’s been taking. It took nearly 3 months for that container from june to be picked up in so-cal. It usually takes just 3 weeks from start to finish. It’s going to take months to fix this and it hasnt gotten better at all. The ripples from covid are still rippling in the supply chain on the us west coast .  (4)>>Truckers don’t want to enter California . According to the ATA, the trucking industry was already 61,000 drivers short of demand back in 2019. Then the pandemic hit. But with the economy reopening, E-commerce growing by leaps and bounds, and the lingering COVID-19 setbacks, it has all combined to create what some may call the perfect storm. A whole lot of the problem is regulations . AB 5 originally passed the California State Assembly back in May, and was passed late in the evening Sept. 10 by the state Senate. Assembly Bill 5 “will put tens of thousands of owner-operator truckers, who service agriculture, retail and other industry sectors, out of business," said the California Trucking Association in a press release. IN ANOTHER MOVE California will require automakers to sell more electric trucks starting in 2024. The measure, approved unanimously  by the California Air Resources Board, says that by 2045 all new trucks sold in the state should be zero-emissions.(5)>>Even within the last month, grocery stores were projected to continue to have increased prices on many food items and more shortages. As we enter the fall season, should customers be concerned that they won't be able to find their favorite products or purchase all the usual trimmings for holiday meals?Grocers also ask customers to avoid panic buying and hoarding items, saying that contributed to some of the shortages seen early in the pandemic.Instead, they recommend shoppers slowly purchase what they need over the next month or two.The National Grocers Association agreed and said in a statement that consumers should be "mindful of their neighbors" when preparing for the holidays and "limit their quantities to only what they need."How a product comes to market determines the cost: the industry relies on producers, suppliers, warehouses, and shippers to grow, package, store, and ship products from the beginning of the supply chain to a shopper's cart. So, shortages in labor, raw materials, packing supplies, and drivers all impact price. price fixing and gouging could be at work here as well. Food prices at the grocery store have shot up across the board during the pandemic as demand has surged, and labor shortages and other disruptions have added costs at nearly every stage of the food supply chain.Prices for meats and fish have led the way so far this year, with pork prices rising the most at an average of 5.4%. Fresh vegetables rose the least of any category, up an average of 0.5%, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. For all of 2021, food-at-home prices are expected to jump between 2.5% and 3.5%, according to the USDA. That’s on top of a 3.5% increase last year, which was the biggest bounce since 2011. (Prices actually fell in 2016 and 2017).(6)>>Gas Price gouging is not enough along with gas shortages that are coming . That's the craziest part of this to me. THERE IS NO REAL GAS SHORTAGE . BUT a SLOW DOWN of SUPPLIES . Not only are these idiots panic buying and creating the problem, gasoline is a non-renewable resource and this will cause probably thousands of gallons of gasoline to spoil, thus wasting it en mass. These are the same people that rage against renewable energy, they have no logic or critical thinking skills.  My opinion is that as gas, oil and coal prices rise, it will bring uranium along with it. If it is like the 1970s gold and silver will also rise. Hold on, as poor government energy policies and money printing continues we are going to have massive inflation and civil unrest. (7)>>The national gas price average on Monday was $3.04 California drivers are taxed 80 cents per gallon today, an ABC News affiliate in California reported in July 2019.  But stations running dry has nothing to do with the price — or even the supply — of gasoline. It’s the shortage of tank truck drivers coupled with rising demand that is causing supply chain bottlenecks and shortages. Experts say a growing number of stations are reporting that they are simply not able to get gas delivered — at any price. Buy as much hard assets and energy assets as you can afford. NOW gas prices will start increasing across California reaching over 5 dollars a gallon in the next few months. California became the state with the highest gas taxes in the country in July 2019 after a variable state tax increased another 5.6 cents.. (8)>>California could run out of Bacon. It MAY NOT , but it's to illustrate over regulation could cause shortages between state lines . In 2018, California voters passed Prop 12, a ballot initiative that is the nation’s — and some say the world’s — strongest law to improve living conditions for farmed animals.Initial provisions affecting beef calves and egg-laying hens took effect in 2020 without too much market disruption, and beef and egg producers are “optimistic” they will be able to comply with tighter requirements on confinement spaces due to be implemented at the end of 2021, following some defeats in federal courts for producers seeking to invalidate Prop 12 as an improper constraint on interstate commerce. But the requirements for hog breeding — much of it in Iowa —If producers do comply (and they are asking for federal help to retrofit their farms), prices for pork products will go up nationally. If they do not, then they may lose the huge California market, at least temporarily, and pork prices will skyrocket in the undersupplied Golden State market, with shortages and outages entirely possible.(9)>>water rationing laws . Did you know California used to have the largest lake in America west of the Mississippi? It dried up because they diverted all the water that was feeding it for agriculture. Those farmers knew they were last in line for water. That's why they traditionally planted annual crops. Putting in orchards was pure greed. Sure, it's not ideal to have this many people in a state with our average rainfall across the state. But, maybe we should ask why it's profitable, given that situation, to grow alfalfa and tree nuts and rice here. And maybe we should look at why so many people still have lawns. And, maybe, we should go those things first.(10)>>The Biden economy is a BOMB !!!!.  Yellen responded yesterday by telling The Wall Street Journal that if the Republicans force a shutdown of the US government like they did to Obama in 2011, “We would emerge from this crisis a permanently weaker nation.” But the GOP is adamant: they have their strategy and they’re sticking to it. A research report by Wall Street economists predicts a significant burst of inflation fueled by the "epic proportion of monetary and fiscal stimulus." It warns that global economies are "sitting on a time bomb."The report is a stark warning that President Joe Biden's $3.5 trillion tax and spending plan could return our economy to the double-digit inflation of the 1970s. And surely, also, the economic disruption that followed. People who have been in COVID lockdown for a year now have Biden’s stimulus money—and it’s burning a hole in their pockets. What is more, Biden’s other policies could be hindering what many of us thought would be a quick recovery following the vaccine rollout. With that successful rollout comes increased consumer demand but not enough supply—or service workers—to meet it.  (11)>>Now politics are only in the business of getting more money and working less.  Democrats kept raising taxes on businesses and rich people to pay for all this stuff — and those taxes on the rich didn’t have any effect at all on working people (wages were steadily going up until the Reagan Revolution, in fact). This week’s inflation numbers should alarm the White House even more than the lackluster jobs report or the looming crisis on the southern border. Rampant money-printing and spending since the beginning of the pandemic is the direct cause of the COVID-19 panic and one exploited by politicians using the pandemic as a veneer for social engineering writ large. Our economic troubles will only get worse if Biden moves forward with his $6 trillion budget. The president does not appear to be concerned about the most recent figures. In fact, this week lawmakers came to a tentative deal on a potential $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill. Not only would it further increase the deficit spending, but it will create demand competition for construction goods that are already shooting through the roof. With spending levels higher than World War II, Biden risks the most severe inflationary crisis since the 1970s.(12)>>First they kick us out of our tax paid Washington D.C. and now they can pass whatever is best for the elites.  LETS GO AND SEE how long the shortages are going last . We can expect a long delays for products . MEANWHILE THE ELITES have nothing to worry .There’s a lot going wrong all at once. There’s congestion at some of the United States’ largest ports and not enough truckers to deliver goods to keep up with demand. The White House is also announcing plans for a supply chain disruptions task force to tackle bottlenecks in some key industries: semiconductors, homebuilding and construction, transportation, and agriculture and food. Biden is expected to blame the pandemic, which has caused factories to close and disrupted ports around the world, for the issues, but also tout agreements the White House has brokered with private sector entities to get goods flowing again. And now, thanks to COVID, laborers are realizing that they do have power - they can choose to not work these shitty jobs. And the capitalists are freaking out about it, because their oligopoly is in danger. The national pandemic is the closest we've come to the nation-wide strike we absolutely need.
