The First Debate and the Covid " Numbers".

(1)>>The first debate will be held at 9 p.m. Eastern on Tuesday, and is hosted by Case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Clinic, in the battleground state of Ohio. “Fox News Sunday” anchor Chris Wallace will moderate. September 23rd is the new day of "infamy" . That day is marked fore the first debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden. You have to watch this , it's going to be a "bomb".  The Covid scare is going make the debate look a virtual reality side show ,  (2)>>Your going to hear F bombs. But so far  the latest development in a back-and-forth between the two campaigns as they hash out debate details amid the upended election norms caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Yes, there will be multiple debates between Biden and Trump, and a couple between Pence and Harris.  Just less than 40 days away . Biden 100%. No way biden will debate him, at least not in person.  but I don’t think Biden can hold up in a debate against Trump. Cognitively, he is not what he used to be. (3)>>I think there is a chance Biden’s handlers will take Nancy Pelosi’s advice, and “opt out,” cause Trump is “so terrible.” BUT STAY TUNED , this September 23rd. It's very informative to viewers to watch the 2 candidates on the same stage be asked the same question, & then listen to their answers. It gives viewers an opportunity to assess their decorum, statesmanship, & overall familiarity with what's asked. It helps us determine who knows the rules; who'll react appropriately when confronted with someone voicing facts or opinions they don't agree with. This should steer voters to the "right" choice, but Donald Trump shows how badly that can fail. In his debates with Hillary Clinton, he interrupted her, often stood menacingly behind her while she spoke, while constantly saying things like "wrong" whenever she stated something he disagreed with.Apparently, there are Americans who approve of his unprofessional & inappropriate behavior! In his debates with Hillary Clinton, he interrupted her, often stood menacingly behind her while she spokeMaybe Biden can power walk around the stage while he talks. In the shape he's in now, Trump will get visibly winded just walking after him. But here is the spoilers alert : Joe Biden is only running because he literally can’t remember that Hillary just lost to Trump with his exact same platform. So Biden has to be his sharpest or else the wild animal is going to eat him. I would expect Biden to beat Trump on a policy debate. But it won't be a policy debate.Trump will get really insecure when his stupid comments don't get him an immediate reaction from people. He'll start to make up things and lie (as usual) and this will make him look even worse during the debate when Biden proves him wrong on everything. When things come down to policy and facts rather than publicity and shock factor during these debates. So Who is going to be the winner ? You have to wait .

THE COVID  "NUMBERS " .

 Time Magazine's so called grim
reminder , or  Propaganda ?
Even in states with robust health systems,California, technical reporting issues have plagued the country’s response.  (4)>>A glitch in the state’s CalREDIE data reporting system recently caused the system to fail to process up to 300,000 coronavirus records. Following the mistakes that led to the glitch, the state’s top health official resigned. Could it be the data is really wrong . So let's dive into theory making here.
The Covid numbers . When we first started looking at them as early as March , there was a steady to rapid jump like over night ,yet with no explaination . Before any test for Covid was around , every MSN started showing that thousands of people tested positive for Covid  Remember too while between March and June , President  Trump was in a battle between the News media over Covid Test kits . Yet with out the positive test kits , it seems that numbers of positive Covid  expsosures was going up. Now how is that? Remember too that the US Population is 300 million people. There are not enought tests to start . Even China with their 1 billion people a small percentage were infected [ in the millions , deaths were reported as 80 thousand , but China can't be trusted ]. Yet the so called "milestone" of 200 , 000 deaths was predicted way back in March .  (5)>>Anyone Reemember what the good Dr. Fauci was telling us in February ? We were all told conflicting information . Since the start of the pandemic, the public has been barraged by conflicting messages in part because the country is dealing with a new and still poorly understood virus and in part because politicians and scientists deliver conflicting advice. But rumors, misinformation and outright falsehoods — some intentionally propagated — have also flourished in that cauldron of confusion. LOOKING AT Recently data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) revealed that only 6% of people who died of COVID-19 actually have COVID-19 on their death certificate. This has led to accusations that the agency has “back-pedalled” on the number of deaths caused by COVID-19As the CDC report notes, “For 6% of the deaths, COVID-19 was the only cause mentioned.”In other words, 94 percent of Americans who have died from coronavirus from the week ending February 1,
The Daily Death numbers
are posted on CNN like as
if were looking at the lottery.
What is funny about this , is where
are the numbers of
those who recovered from
Covid ?

2020 to the week ending August 22, 2020 had, on average, almost three comorbidities that played a role in their death.
SO WHAT DOES THIS REALLY MEAN ? Unfortunately they are lumping two distinctly different things in together - causes AND conditions. There is no indication or subset breakdown in percentage. It would be much more informative is it DID say primary causes or at least what was the actual cause. Many people are contracting C19 after being hospitalized for something unrelated or test positive and have no symptoms. The CDC is making no distinction here is C19 was the cause of death or simply an unrelated positive infection.
They are looking for data that shows less people dying of pneumonia since the pandemic to make up for the percentage of people that are dying of Covid-19. I can understand the thought process. What they don’t get is that the flu in itself has a vaccine that (even I have) most health people refuse to take and covid will getcha way easier and quicker. Can we tell those with their conspiracy theories? Can we put a graph side by side for the people that can’t bother to read or figure things out themselves? Because the news gets ratings from that majority. But public health experts say the method used to count deaths from a disease like Covid-19 is decades-old and some amount of uncertainty is simply part of the process. It's  STRANGE that the U.S. leads the world with the largest deaths , while most of the world reported a lot less . But the numbers don't just add up . To reach 200 thousand , the CDC on their web site says that 930 people a day have to die . When the CDC projected 1.7 million deaths back in March, it used an estimated death rate of 0.8%. Imperial College’s estimate of 2.2 million deaths assumed a rate of 0.9%. The fear generated by the projections drives the public policy debate. The Washington Post headline, “As deaths mount, Trump tries to convince Americans it’s safe to inch back to normal,” were part of a steady diet of such fare. When Georgia opened up over a month ago, the Post warned: “Georgia leads the race to become America’s No. 1 Death Destination. The numbers look more like propaganda , just would we need the daily reminders ?  (6)>>How about Recovery numbers?

NOTES AND COMMENTS:

(1)>>The first debate. Do they not remember 2016’s debates and how everyone who wasn’t a diehard trumper thought he preformed like absolute garbage? I remember how on the fence voters were asked to rate Trump’s performance and people kept giving him scores like 2/10.And even then, he lost the debates hard and still won the election, so why does it matter? So  Politics aside, every American should expect any president, and any serious candidate for the office, to be cognitively aware and always mentally sharp. Both Trump and Biden should be willing and able to directly answer any and all questions related to that basic, expected qualification.Over the last few months, Trump has been like the ultrasmart kid in class who raises his hand at every question from the teacher to prove he knows the answers. Trump’s enthusiasm to prove his own cognitive abilities would seem to tip that issue in his favor. To successfully cross the tightrope, and to put Trump at a disadvantage on this issue, Biden must be able to claim the middle ground between elderly and seasoned, between forgetful and thoughtful, between frail and fit, between contentious and courteous — and between politician and statesman.(2)>>Your going to hear F bombs. People seem to think Biden is going up against 2016 Trump and not 2020 Trump. Trump has gotten noticeably worse as far as using strong language  since he took office. BUt BIden's gaffs may steal the show , your going hear the cuss word . AM sure of that Trump being brash and Biden unintelligible would be a draw and cause everyone to default to their priors. What is Biden going to do differently than all the Republicans who ran against Trump in 2016? I remember watching in horror as he picked them off, one by one, usually with nothing more than a derogatory nickname.  (3)>>I think there is a chance Biden’s handlers will take Nancy Pelosi’s advice, and “opt out,” cause Trump is “so terrible.”think there is a chance Biden’s handlers will take Nancy Pelosi’s advice, and “opt out,” cause Trump is “so terrible.” The San Francisco Democrat argued that a debate with the president would “legitimize a conversation” that Trump has not earned. She suggested that Biden and Trump could answer questions separately instead.“I don’t think that there should be any debates,” Pelosi said at her weekly news conference . “I do not think the president of the United States has comported himself in a way that (resembles) anybody who has any association with truth, evidence, data and facts. I wouldn’t legitimize a conversation with him, nor a debate in terms of the presidency of the United States.”  House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says if she were running Joe Biden’s presidential campaign, she would tell him to boycott debates with President Trump, calling any that include him an “exercise in skulduggery.”(4)>>A glitch in the state’s CalREDIE data reporting . Health officials in multiple California counties say the electronic system used by most local health departments statewide to report data on infectious diseases is currently experiencing “serious” technical issues, resulting in coronavirus cases being significantly undercounted. The technical problems suggest that the apparent statewide decline in COVID-19 activity that had been observed in the past few days, and which Gov. Gavin Newsom touted  as an indication the state has been “able to get a handle” on the pandemic, may instead be either partially or entirely attributed to a data glitch. Could this "glitch" been responsible for inflated numbers of positive tests and deaths ? Couriously Gov. Newsom back tracked after the glitch and started a re-opening process for the state , as if he gave up on the numbers . (5)>>Anyone Reemember what the good Dr. Fauci was telling us in February ? Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, told USA TODAY's Editorial Board back then .Short of that, Fauci says skip the masks unless you are contagious, don't worry about catching anything from Chinese products and certainly don't avoid Chinese people or restaurants.  "Whenever you have the threat of a transmissible infection, there are varying degrees from understandable to outlandish extrapolations of fear," Fauci said. On Jan. 26, Fauci gave an interview to John Catsimatidis, a syndicated radio host in New York. “What can you tell the American people about what’s been going on?” Catsimatidis asked. “Should they be scared?”“I don’t think so,” Fauci said. “The American people should not be worried or frightened by this. It’s a very, very low risk to the United States, but it’s something we, as public health officials, need to take very seriously.”Fauci reiterated that COVID-19 “isn’t something the American people need to worry about or be frightened about” because, at the time, it was centered in China and the U.S. could screen travelers from that nation. But Fauci also twice described the virus as “an evolving situation,” and said, “Every day, we have to look at it very carefully.”(6)>>How about Recovery numbers?    The Most ignored part of the Covid "numbers " is with out question the Recovery rates . World wide 23 million people recover from COVID , again we have to question numbers , the United States reported that 4,599, 629 have recovered, With a 96 % survial rate  👉 see : [ https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/  Without the ability to accurately retest the entire population for the virus or the virus’ antibodies, the only way to get a true recovery number would be to follow up with all the patients to see how they’re doing. That would require significant resources that are being directed toward contact tracing, health experts say.The majority of COVID-19 patients are able to recover isolated at home. As such, there is not any hospital discharge data like there would be for the minority of severe cases.
