Trump's Saudi Arabia "deal".

Trump receives Saudi Arabia’s highest civilian honor
What a hypocrite .President Donald Trump was criticized as a hypocrite for seemingly bowing before the Saudi King, an act for which he had criticized then-President Barack Obama for doing back in 2012. I would not be writing again for a few days after I saw & heard President Trump's speech to the Saudi Parliament . This is so outrageous In Every step he mimics (1.1)>>President Obama when he bowed to the Muslim Brotherhood in Cairo , EgyptYe. BUT its worse . We are talking about billions of dollars to Saudi Arabian kingdom in military spending . The President confirmed he had signed a weapons deal with the Saudis worth $109.7 billion, predicted to grow to a $380 billion Saudi investment within 10 years, during his first trip abroad since his Inauguration.Mr Trump’s Press Secretary Sean Spicer said the deal was (1.2)>>positive news for American employment and the economy. However its a shady deal Trump, during the campaign, blamed Saudi Arabia – and, I would argue, somewhat correctly – for playing a role in the 9/11 attacks, the greatest terrorist attack on American soil. At the same time, he was inking – while on the campaign trail – he was inking deals with eight hotel interests in Saudi Arabia to deepen his business ties. I mean hotels, casinos – a lot of it has to do with money laundering and Trump is really a master of that. The Gulf States have these great sovereign wealth funds, and Trump and Jared Kushner, his son-in-law, want to tap into those. So, the ties are deep between Trump
May be the Saudi hold
on America is
deeper than we
realize .
and the Saudis, far deeper than other foreign countries which we hear a lot about.
The Kingdom, as the Saudi nation-state is often called, probably isn’t the worst mutation Saudi Arabia could take. Something far more sinister than an antiquated monarchy lurks beneath the Arabian sands—Wahhabist ideology, the extreme form of Islam practiced by the warriors who helped the House of Saud ascend to power. Today Wahhabism is integrated into the Saudi government, but checked by the more modern royals. Osama bin Laden, a rigid Wahhabi, supported overthrowing the Saudi regime, which he saw as a bulwark of degenerate secularism. The Saudis’ modus operandi is to appeal to us with their rhetoric and a few strategic sops while single-mindedly pursuing their own interests at home. That the United States, the most powerful nation on earth, keeps falling for this masquerade is an embarrassment.Take the recent Saudi incursion into Yemen. Riyadh is bombing the Houthi militia—and only the Houthis—even though al Qaeda and the Islamic State have both infiltrated Yemen and stand to profit if the Shiite Houthis lose. (2)>>America is pumping its fist and slapping its Saudi ally on the back, providing aid and expertise even though the Houthis are one of the least terrifying factions in Yemen right now.
Trump Saudi Speech . What a bomb.
Trump is challenging Americas old Arab allies about "honestly confronting the crisis of  "Islamic extremism and the Islamist terror groups it inspires." This speech is so awful if you heard it you be trying to make sense of it . The Saudi King himself must have been in shock just hearing it . (3)>>It's long drab speech with so many sugar coatings , references to "god" , howbeit incredible  .  Trump headed to Saudi Arabia on Friday - with a cloud of intrigue and scandal tailing him all the way. According to a story in the New York Times, he is not happy about embarking on this trip and even told an aide that he wished to cut its nine-day itinerary in half. He is set for meetings with leaders in Saudi Arabia, Israel, the Vatican, Italy and Belgium, all of which could become gaffe-fests for the loose-lipped and inexperienced president. His speech is about being more a salesmen , ONE CLUE is " For Americans, this is an exciting time. A new spirit of optimism is sweeping our country: in just a few months, we have created almost a million new jobs, added over 3 trillion dollars of new value, lifted the burdens on American industry, and made record investments in our military that will protect the safety of our people and enhance the security of our wonderful friends and allies – many of whom are here today" . Trump’s narrow focus on countering “radical ideology,” unfortunately, will only distract us from the real solution.

NOTES AND COMMENTS:
President Obama
bows to his
"master".

(1)>>positive news for American employment and the economy. It's "positive" as for the Department of Defense . American made weapons would be flooded into Saudi Arabia which would some how end up in the hands of  al-Qaeda ? The circulation of American guns have flooded the Middle-East since the First Gulf War in the 1990s . A report yesterday that Jared Kushner, Trump's son-in-law, actually called Lockheed Martin to ask them to give Saudi Arabia a bargain-basement deal on this $100 billion arms transfer which may represent the largest arms deal in American history and that those weapons are going to be used against Yemeni civilians in a country which really represents the world’s worst humanitarian crisis.      (2)>>America is pumping its fist and slapping its Saudi ally on the back,.  The Saudis are paying for the weapons. This is one of the USA's main exports - killing machines.  Some lawmakers in the U.S. are pushing back, introducing a bill intended to limit U.S. arms transfers to Saudi Arabia. It would require the White House to certify that Saudi Arabia is taking all feasible precautions to minimize civilian casualties in Yemen, and stipulate that the White House must brief Congress on whether Saudi Arabia has used US weapons in previous unlawful attacks in Yemen. Other lawmakers have pledged to try to prevent future US arms sales to Saudi Arabia.  (3)>>It's long drab speech with so many sugar coatings , references to "god" , howbeit incredible  . You have to compare President's Trump speech with Obama's in 2009 . The 55-minute address electrified many Muslims in the Arab Middle East. The president celebrated the cultural, scientific and intellectual achievements of Islam to the delight of the audience inside the domed hall at Cairo University where he spoke -- and beyond. Trump pick a line from Obama's ? { see the full Obama speech here : Obama Calls On Muslims for a 'New Beginning' With U.S. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/06/04/AR2009060401024.html } The Washington Post . Trump's bow bow speech is found complete in the Israeli News  Haaretz { http://www.haaretz.com/middle-east-news/1.790748 }  The Speeches are so remarkably similar that I wonder if the "same writer" was used to write both speeches for Obama and Trump.
