Nancy Pelosi. A BIG GOODBYE !!!!!

Nancy Pelosi.  A BIG GOODBYE !!!!!
The Pelosi legacy
You know she’s not leaving Congress, right? She’s just no longer leading the house democrats.Nancy Pelosi will not run again for a position in  (1)>>House Democratic leadership, ending her nearly two decades as one of the most powerful figures in the party and the first woman to serve as speaker of Congress’s lower chamber.  Becoming the first woman to serve as speaker of the House is a tremendous accomplishment in a nation that has long blocked women from positions of power.  BELIEVE ME , you should not miss Pelosi , for 40 years in public office , she did nothing for her state here in California . A career politician , who sucked in millions of dollars in lucrative  stock trade deals  .  (2)>>Probably big  in corruption .In a speech, she reflected on her decades representing San Francisco in Congress, and found time to throw shade at Donald TrumpNancy has been in office since 1987. She didn’t inherent shit. Democrats had the Presidency, a House majority, and a Senate majority for 4 years since she took office (the first two years of Clinton's presidency, the first two years of Obama's presidency, and the past two months). They had a filibuster-proof majority for a few months (from September 24, 2009 to February 4, 2010). ITS is a rare day when Pelosi fails to control her caucus. But the veteran speaker, viewed with awe by many members for her vote-counting abilities, adopted a high-risk strategy of trying to force a vote on the first leg of  (3)>>( HER AGENDA ) Biden's forward-looking agenda. A group of nine moderates is threatening to withhold their votes from Democrats’ $3.5 trillion budget resolution later this month, endangering Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s two-track plan to push both a massive infrastructure bill and social spending agenda through the House in the coming weeks. But this is the first time the lawmakers have explicitly said they’re willing to block the budget resolution in an attempt to force Pelosi’s hand — Pelosi has been pulling the strings ever since last year , she was also the coup leader who fouled Donald Trump's election prospects. The Speaker of the US House of Representatives has the quite unbelievable brass neck. Just who in the world does she think she is? The wokesters of course swoon over her.Yet a succession of US administration policy failures hardly inspires trust and confidence. Ms Pelosi is an enabler along with her like minded other democrat party Muppets. We c an only earnestly hope they are voted out at the midterms.Nancy Pelosi's America, work is not much more than an unnecessary distraction. The current path that Nancy Pelosi would have us take is unsustainable. The end result when leaders like Pelosi value welfare benefits over personal industry is national ruin.  (4)>>The short version is that Pelosi suffered from a toxic case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. Remember, this is the speaker of the House who made a show of tearing up her copy of the State of the Union speech in front of a joint session of Congress while the president stood a few feet away and millions watched on television. WE REALLY HAVE A CRAZY PERSON as a PUPPET MASTER in this country. What Pelosi was doing was no secret. She took control of the nation when Biden was sworn in as President . This "Build Back Better" plan is Nancy's Plan . So more months passed -- until the presidential election gave Pelosi what she wanted. Now, she is ready to deal. But what about all that lost time? All that suffering? Pelosi doesn't want to talk about it.

NOTES AND COMMENTS :

(1)>>House Democratic leadership.  Pelosi, 82, is leaving the post as Republicans are set to take control of the House in January after winning the majority in the midterm election. She has led House Democrats for almost two decades, encompassing two stretches as speaker under four presidents.A fierce legislative tactician and prolific fundraiser, Pelosi was instrumental in securing signature achievements for Democratic presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden, held together a fractious caucus strained by tensions between progressives and centrists and emerged as a preeminent villain to the political right. She cites the Affordable Care Act and Inflation Reduction Act as her proudest achievements. Did she do a good job? Not really, no. During half of the time that Pelosi was in charge of the House (from 2007 to 2009, and then from 2019 to 2021), Pelosi had a GOP president to deal with, and was thus prevented from effecting major change. For two of her years at the top (2021–2023), she had such a small majority that she couldn’t do much — and what she did do was highly questionable. And then there were the two years, between 2009 and 2011, when she got a lot done. But, really, how could she have avoided doing so? After 2008, the Democrats had massive landslide majorities, and, while they certainly used them to achieve big legislative goals, they also guaranteed a backlash that severely damaged the party at all levels of government, that took the gavel out of Pelosi’s hands at the next possible opportunity, and that kept her in the minority for nearly a decade thereafter.(2)>>Probably big  in corruption . Pelosi scoffed at the idea of banning lawmakers from trading individual stocks as recently as December, saying that she and her colleagues should be able to fully participate in the free market economy. After rejecting similar proposals, Pelosi is throwing her weight behind legislation that would ban stock trading among members of Congress and other senior government officials. House Democratic leaders introduced the Combating Financial Conflicts of Interest in Government Act. Pelosi has been dogged by allegations that her husband, Paul Pelosi, trades stocks on inside information gleaned from her position in Congress. In March, Paul Pelosi exercised options to buy up to $5 million worth of Tesla stock as the speaker pushed for electric vehicle subsidies, the Washington Free Beacon reported. And in June, Paul Pelosi exercised call options to buy up to $5 million in the graphics card manufacturer Nvidia just weeks before the House considered a bill to provide more than $50 billion in subsidies to domestic semiconductor manufacturers.(3)>>( HER AGENDA ) Biden's forward-looking agenda.  Bobo biden, many times, told Pelosi he'll do whatever she wants as it pertains to Q &As. 🤔🤔    Republicans see Pelosi as the gift that keeps on giving. Universally known and deeply disliked and distrusted among GOP voters, she’s an easy and reliable foil. Said one long-time House GOP strategist to me in the wake of the Republican victory in Georgia: “I'd put Pelosi up anytime against any issue because it is so hardened in voters’ minds what [she] stands for—what she means for America—and it is totally out of sync with suburban, economic-driven voters.” Pelosi matters until she doesn’t. Midterm elections are a referendum on the party in power, not the party out of power. Pelosi’s been a reliable and effective weapon against Democrats in swing/conservative districts for the past few years. But, for the first time since 2009 her party is completely shut out of power.  Republicans now control the House, Senate and the White House, and they are going to have to defend what they did – or didn’t – do next fall. However, we’re only six months into the new Administration and Congress. For most voters, it’s simply way too early to judge the success or failure of a GOP-led Washington. By this time next year, it won’t be.(4)>>The short version is that Pelosi suffered from a toxic case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. This is the speaker who suffered a meltdown in a White House meeting with Trump, standing up, pointing her finger at the president, and storming out of the room. This is the speaker who suffered another meltdown when a reporter asked if she hated Trump. ("Don't mess with me," she warned.)This is the speaker who announced an impeachment inquiry of the president -- solely on her own authority -- before seeing the evidence on which she would seek to remove him from office. This is the speaker who pronounced herself "heartbroken" and "prayerful" even as her top House lieutenants, acting under her guidance, raced toward impeachment. This is the speaker, in other words, who became obsessed with resisting the president. That is the same Nancy Pelosi who was stonewalling virus relief efforts. In an election year, when a relief bill would help millions of Americans but might also, as an ancillary effect, boost Trump's reelection bid, she would not act. When the election was over and Trump lost, she would.
