Tucker was fired without a due process , it was SO QUICK that his last show which aired Friday of April 21st , 2023 . Tucker said that he will be back on Monday . This seems like a pretty shocking development. Even with the Dominion lawsuit, I never got the sense that his job was in danger given how much of a cash cow he is for Fox. I wonder if there’s more details coming here. There could be more to this than meets the eye. Remember there's another lawsuit against Fox from the other voting machine company Smartmatic. And unlike Dominion's, this action not only sues Fox News itself but some individual hosts although I'm not sure if Tucker was one of them. However, it could be that more 'dirty laundry' has emerged about Tucker and they figured he could be too much of a hot potato to hold onto even if he brings them the ratings. NOW Dominion's shareholders in stock named Black Rock had their pockets lined up with Murdochs just came to light .That wasn’t the only lawsuit. They have smartmatic coming up and that company has said any settlement must include a public retraction of their lies. Then there is the executive who was fired who is suing and I believe an investor is suing as well.If the other major lawsuit ends with fox being forced to admit it lied on air, then I bet they are going to be buried in lawsuits. Honestly I’d think we all have grounds to sue fox. His last show was last Friday, so he definitely got fired and isn't leaving of his own accord - typically when a host announces they're leaving, they give a few weeks of final shows. It was, to be fair, quite a sendoff, with the unexpected firing of Tucker Carlson from Fox and the somewhat less unexpected (but still surprising) firing of Don Lemon from CNN.That does not, however, mitigate the fact that cable news is dying. Slowly, in a way that is not always immediately obvious, but it’s dying.Not because it’s become irrelevant, but because the medium it lives on, cable TV, is dying.The whole “massive wave of cord cutting” thing is complete bullshit, something you might have heard us mention a time or two, Or twenty.But that doesn’t mean that it’s not happening, slowly but surely, a couple of million less subscribers each year. Either Fox is pissed that he started the domino effect of having to settle future lawsuits after Dominion, the data showed his texts actually hurt their viewership, they wanted Tucker to tone it down till the dusts settles, they found something Tucker had hidden when they were getting ready for the Dominion trial that they didn’t like, Tucker is running for PotUS, or something else. Tucker had shows, podcasts, and other stuff with big ratings for Fox. People are saying this is about just Dominion and Carlson getting punished. Hannity, Ingrim, and other hosts were named in the lawsuit. So it’s not like Carlson acted alone. The host’s departure was announced just days after corporate parent Fox Corp. agreed to pay $787.5 million in a settlement to Dominion Voting Systems after being accused of passing along specious conspiracy theories about its role in the 2020 presidential election. Carlson was expected to have to testify in the matter. NOW Fired Fox Producer Abby Grossberg says she found even more evidence connected to Dominion Lawsuit. She's presenting it at the worst possible time for them: after Fox has already gotten caught withholding information from the courts twice, and right after they said they wouldn't do it anymore. Yes, throwing Tucker out was probably linked to Grossberg . Grossberg, a former producer for Fox hosts Maria Bartiromo and Tucker Carlson, has sued Fox News and said her deposition was coerced. In an amended filing she said she had recorded conversations with Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell and others. The more I hear about this Abby Grossberg, the more I think she's either a disgruntled employee who will do whatever she can to make Fox News look bad (collateral damage be damned), or she's been a Left wing operative the whole time. We know there are plenty of wolves in sheep's clothing working at Fox News HQ in NYC.In any case, she is now doing the Left's bidding. She also gave MSNBC a recording that supposedly makes Ted Cruz look bad. That has nothing to do with her lawsuit against Fox.I'm sure she has plenty of dirt on Fox though, and I wouldn't be surprised if she blackmailed Fox into firing Tucker Carlson.
