I personally BELIEVE that a showdown between the U.S. and China over Taiwan is coming in 2024 . It's not good folks . (1)>>IT WILL PROBABLY HAPPEN DURING THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION YEAR , just to distract the voters . In other words, the Biden Administration and the Democratic Party destroy the US economy and are perpetually weak on crime and foreign policy. Recently the Biden Administration has sent over 200 troops for so called logistical reasons ??? Having a permanent military presence introduces substantial risk and minimal advantage to American interests. Remember that the goal for the US is as much about deterring (2)>>Taiwan from a unilateral Declaration of Independence as it is deterring Beijing from military coercion.Besides, the US chickened out of even a few Marine embassy guards. Barring any dramatic policy shifts, a permanent base is far out of the realm of possibility. NOBODY THINKS LOGICALLY .(3)>>You trigger a hot war with PRC. I think it would result in serious economic retaliation against the US and Taiwan. It would be expensive and further expand the US military which I am generally opposed to.It would be like the Cuban Missile Crisis for China, tantamount to a declaration of war. Other US bases are close enough to come defend [invade] Taiwan in time should the time comes. The BIDEN too is beholden to China and is working furiously [ shooting itself in the foot] to hand over Taiwan before a conservative president is elected. Remember "they" will blame China first before creating they create situation over Taiwan . It's exactly like what they did in Crimea when Obama stepped aside and let Russia have it.No, our politicians both sides work for the enemy. Get that through your head. Both sides are corrupt and don’t work for us. RIGHT AT MOST VULNERABLE TIME during the Presidential election .

I am genuinely confused.Both nations claim they are the true China and own both the mainland and the island of Fermosa. The only difference is one side actually lost the war over 70 years ago.No, it has been over 70 years since the KMT lost the war and were deposed.They are not the legitimate government of China and not a single nation on the planet recognizes them as such, and haven't in 43 years.So the options are reunification or indepence, which the vast majority of Taiwanese people do not want. Under no circumstances whatsoever will reunification happen with the deposed fascist junta being given power over the mainland. I wish that was the case but sadly as an American I realise it is not. This puts the US military in a bind, but what else is new. It also explains a lot of things. It explains the rigging of the 2020 election and the installation of the Biden regime, the most corrupt and degenerate collection of circus clowns every to sit in the White House. Because of their mishandling (purposeful sabotage) of military readiness by forcing the vaccine on troops we are now in a pathetic state to deal with an actual boots on the ground hot war. We are also depleting our arsenal by sending massive amounts of money and weapons to Ukraine and it's not slowing down. If Trump was not screwed none of this would be happening right now.
