I'm just a little spy satellite, hovering over the honey tree. I'm just a little spy satellite, pay no attention to mee. (1)>>Why would they send a balloon to spy on the US? It is unreliable, hard to position precisely, extremely easy to detect and in the end doesn't give you much better info than the advanced spy satellites are already providing. And if it is shot down/crashes, the enemy gets access to your spy gear. Satellites at least burn on reentry. So we are giving them exactly what they wanted then? Also, why would they think that a useless balloon would get a reaction? (2)>>The Pentagon said that similar incidents happened in the past and there were zero news stories about them, since worrying about minor things like rogue balloons is really stupid. Why would they think that the reaction would be different this time? The BIG SPOOF of this balloon story comes at the heels of the (3)>>American Military Industrial complex gearing up for war with China in 2025 . A four-star Air Force general sent a memo on Friday to the officers he commands that predicts the U.S. will be at war with China in two years and tells them to get ready to prep by firing "a clip" at a target, and "aim for the head." In the memo sent Friday and obtained by NBC News, Gen. Mike Minihan, head of Air Mobility Command, said, “I hope I am wrong. My gut tells me will fight in 2025.” Now its KINDA Coincidental that a so called Chinese Spy Balloon somehow slipped through (4)>>NORAD National Air defense with out a hiss . This is pretty BIG just think if was a Missile of sorts ???? Everyone’s watching Europe. Don’t forget this is a big threat as well. Lots of people say WW3 won’t happen if a NATO/Russia conflict kicks off. If this kicks off at the same time… while Russia and China may not directly cooperate, I would consider multiple major wars around the globe to be a geographic world war. Thats how global wars start, it's just a series of countries initiating their gripes through conflicts. We could see the Ukraine war as the beginning, then suddenly China attacks Taiwan and the US get involved, maybe Israel surprise attacks Iran and middle east countries may get involved, kosovo-serbia maybe, maybe some African countries reignite old wounds etc.You can see within a few years we're basically in a defacto global conflict which will affect global trade.Once the wars move to a nuclear exchange, it's game over for large swathes of the planet. 😐None of the people that are the most outraged about this balloon have any clue about how how surveillance type information is gathered by any world nation. There are freely available, regularly updated satellite imagery literally eveywhere. The most visible of these being google earth/maps. But to be honest commercial satellite imagery can be bought from serveral sources and no one cares. And countries of all types have been doing this for decades in plain sight. This is yet another distraction of the easily led idiot masses while our own "elected" offcials plunder the giant treasure chest that is america and voting in even stronger, fascist level contols on what we the people can do about about stopping them.
NOTES AND COMMENTS :
(1)>>Why would they send a balloon to spy on the US? . Just How a "Chinese balloon " evaded NORAD is baffling . This poses a question , how secure American air space really is ??It’s a flex and a very clear message to the world. China proves they aren’t scared or worried about what the US might do while the US government carefully tiptoes around to avoid any escalations. So, this giant balloon that can be seen by with the naked eye somehow just appeared over Montana? This thing had to have been on radar for days before that. If it had been deemedc a threat it could have easily been shot down over the pacific.(2)>>The Pentagon said that similar incidents happened in the past and there were zero news stories about them, since worrying about minor things like rogue balloons is really stupid. do people really believe it's a Chinese spy balloon? if it was a spy balloon, it wouldn't even be on the news because the US would have secretly shot it down before it even got to Montana let alone Alaska. The US response to it could be strictly grandstanding propaganda, or it could be a real response to data exfil. If they had something that could more accurately sense the weapons count of silos to see if they're real vs fake, etc.I'm just curious how aware they were of this anomaly until it entered US airspace. Like, was Canada aware of it? The balloon, which the American government said it has been tracking since at least Tuesday, was moving east over the middle of the continental U.S. Friday, the Pentagon said. Authorities would not divulge details about its route other than to say it was spotted over missile-silo fields in Montana. The Pentagon’s public assessment is that the balloon’s intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities were of “limited” value, in terms of gathering data that China could not obtain through other means. However, it seems like part of its mission may have been to provoke the U.S. in retaliation for what China sees as irritating incursions into its periphery — in Japan, in Philippines and in the South China Sea. (3)>>American Military Industrial complex gearing up for war with China in 2025 . Peace is not on the MIND of the COMPLEX , but they are preparing us with the next wave of fear mongering . It’s gonna be hilarious when 2025 comes and goes and nothing happens.China hasn’t even begun practicing amphib ops at scale yet. They aren’t just gonna YOLO across the straight without having rehearsed this multiple times, which won’t happen quickly. Most likely timetable for a Taiwan invasion is late 20s/early 30s, with early 30s being the most likely. A conflict COULD happen earlier but that is extremely unlikely. Most of the mainstream Western articles I've read have been focused on the impending demographic collapse that South Korea and Japan are facing, and particularly how those governments are unwilling to solve the problem with more immigration or serious policies to make raising children more affordable. Given that the ROK has the lowest birth rate in the world, by some margin, this is an understandable focus.Vast majority of Western "experts" have literally nfc what they are talking about in regards to China. Hell I'm XiGang (for Bullet trains alone, catch the f up west), watch CCP conferences and even I struggle to tell you what China thinks. One of the main issues though is that very little Western pundits have any clue what Marxism or Marxist Leninism actually is, so don't understand the framework or world view the Chinese are politically working within. On top of that, you have literally thousands of years of Chinese Legalism/culture that Marxism is filtered through. In regards to Taiwan, it's a civilizational issue for China, Taiwan will be part of China again at some point, but that may be hundred+ years from now. China largely thinks in Civilizational time scales.(4)>>NORAD National Air defense with out a hiss . NORAD has been tracking the Chinese balloon at least since January 28th , it raises a lot of questions why WAS IT NOT SHOT DOWN BEFORE ? According to NORAD, the U.S. government has detected and is tracking a “high altitude surveillance balloon” that is over the continental U.S. According to a report by AP News, China has said the balloon is a “civilian airship used for meteorological research.” American defence officials recommended against taking “kinetic action” against the balloon, for fear the debris could threaten people or infrastructure on the ground. The official notes the balloon appears to be loitering over US airspace for longer than in previous incidents. The Pentagon reiterates it does not believe the balloon represents a significant intelligence threat. The object first flew over Alaska’s Aleutian Islands and Canada before appearing over Billings on Wednesday, officials said.Serious thought, I wonder if the US has flown high altitude spy planes, drones or balloons over parts of China - stuff we’d never know about - and if China is saying “See, if you can do it, so can we”, and if that’s playing into the reason why the US isn’t shooting it down (so China doesn’t shoot down whatever continues to be sent over it’s territory). Just a thought - it can be a whacky world.
