Tulsi Gabbard leaving the Democratic Party was the best thing for her ... |
NOTES AND COMMENTS :
(1)>>If there ever was a chance for a woman President I would vote for Tulsi Gabbard. A clue as to why Gabbard is still in the race may be found in a 2019 speech she gave, telling a crowd, "I’m not running for president to be president. I’m running for president to be able to bring about this sea change in our foreign policy that is so necessary for us and for the world, and I’m most qualified to do that.(2)>>It’s now under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness. I don't know what she is thinking but to me the "woke" culture is mainly an attempt to divert leftists into bullshit that the "1%" can easily control. For example in America there is no serious talk about free public healthcare, but there can be complete hysteria about what toilets transexuals pee in. A total and complete hypocrisy, and I am sure the same kind of people that are into the "warmonger" thing, would and in fact already are totally abusing the woke thing to their advantage.I mean we are at a point where "leftists" vehemently support fucking multinational companies, because of some le gender wars thing they had in an advertisement. The Democrats had already left Gabbard. The party has not so much drifted to the left since Gabbard entered Congress in 2013 as deliberately set a course, full steam ahead, for big-state autocracy and oligarchy. Gabbard is a religious libertarian. Today’s Democratic Party is run by libertines, not libertarians. Libertinism, whether of the Marquis de Sade or Hunter Biden variety, is one way an aristocracy shows it is above the law. Another is displaying open contempt for the values of the little people who pay their taxes and, as Gabbard did, volunteer to serve in the U.S. Army.(3)>>Gabbard did not indicate whether she would be joining the Republican Party. The reality is that Gabbard, who represented Hawaii’s 2nd Congressional District from 2013 to 2021, had long since drifted to the right on a variety of issues. It's far too easy for people on the Right to embrace those who leave the Democratic Party. Defection isn't easy, given our intense polarization. It is certainly admirable. However, not being a Democrat doesn't make Gabbard, or anyone else, a Republican, conservative, or like-minded when it comes to the most pressing issues. That point is often overlooked when ideological enemies lose one of their own. That Gabbard rejects the progressive mentality fueling leftist culture wars is commendable. But conservatives must remain sober in their evaluation. If Gabbard is actually inclined to go the next step and become a Republican — or a Republican-aligned independent — much depends upon the uses to which she puts her talents. If she were to run for office again in Hawaii, even the possibility of winning elections that are typically closed to the GOP would be worth making some common cause with her. (4)>>(lookin at you Bernie Sanders).Yeah, would've been nice if she had NEVER endorsed or voted for Biden in the first place. She was the one to have beautifully exposed the corruption of both Kamala & Sleepy Joey B on the debate stage. Tulsi knew just what the Democratic Party was a long time ago; corrupt.I can respect the notion that she ran as a Democrat in the 2020 race because she wanted the be the fresher, newer, reformed voice of a failing political party that just escalates wars & puts the needs of the American people dead last. Unfortunately, the DNC and the corrupt political establishment decided to put an unpopular senile in charge.
