(1)>>Trump lashed out. that the "investigations" are a "witch hunt ". Here is the stark REALITY as the saying goes : " what comes around goes around" . Remember Trump calling for a special PROSECUTOR to go after Hillary , he was going send her to Jail. Guess what now. And, yet again, he has undercut advice from top Republicans inside and outside the White House who say that an independent investigation could help Trump. President Donald Trump and his White House have been adamant: There's absolutely no need for a special prosecutor to investigate the ties between his 2016 campaign and (1.2)>>Russian intelligence operatives. At the moment, Congressional Republicans -- at least the bulk of them -- seem content to go along with Trump. (2)>>Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell insisted last week on the Senate floor that "too much is at stake" to appoint a
special prosecutor, adding that such an appointment would "only serve to impede the current work being done to not only discover what the Russians may have done but also to let this body and the national security community develop counter measures." If only he could control his evident anxiety about the case, the secrecy of a special counsel investigation could keep the story out of the daily headlines,Both the House and Senate Intelligence Committees are examining various aspects of the Russia allegations, Comey's firing and a leaked memo in which Comey claimed Trump pressured him to drop the agency's investigation into ousted national security adviser Mike Flynn. In addition to the intelligence panels, the House Oversight Committee is probing Trump. The panel is threatening to subpoena the FBI for the Comey memo and has scheduled a hearing next Wednesday where Comey will be invited to testify. Democratic lawmakers have long agitated for an independent prosecutor to be brought in to oversee the case. The head of the DOJ, Attorney General Jeff Sessions, was one of Trump’s first and most loyal supports, and Trump also appointed his deputy, Rod Rosenstein. Rosenstein became the head of the investigation when Sessions recused himself, as he too may be under (3)>>investigation as part of the Trump campaign.Up through Mueller’s appointment, the prevailing GOP line was that the congressional investigations alone would be sufficient to reach the truth. Both investigations were led by lawmakers with deep ties to the Trump campaign. By appointing Mr. Mueller, a former federal prosecutor with an unblemished reputation, Mr. Rosenstein could alleviate uncertainty about the government’s ability to investigate the questions surrounding the Trump campaign and the Russians.Mr. Rosenstein said in a statement that he concluded that “it is in the public interest for me to exercise my authorities and appoint a special counsel to assume responsibility for this matter.”
Our NATION is heading for TROUBLE .
NOTES AND COMMENTS:
Our NATION is heading for TROUBLE .
OK. Everyone who just read the "above" . I am going act is if I AM a gifted "psychic" . Who likes to peer into the future of our Nation , what I am about to say my hurt your emotions , IF YOU VOTED FOR TRUMP but I am going to warn all of you that I personally believe that Donald J Trump could be impeached { see my Notes and Comments below 1.2} While I don't believe that Russia meddled in our election process . There is no evidence of it . Something criminal in nature has subjected our government . The 2016 election , it's criminality was on both Democrats and Republicans . You have to pay attention to the fact that how farcical our democracy has become with corrupt incumbent politicians being "reelected" every time . So much Trump's problems are spelled out that he is not political suave man . His problem is that he has not held a political office , his appearance , reasonings though brutish make him look like a oxymoron . Now for the "truth" . If Trump gets impeached {maybe } or resigns . It's going to take a chunk out of the Stock Market . The DOW will go down fast . Right Now the DOW is slightly above 20,000. LIKE I said before . The Republican's are in a panic over at Washington D.C. They will be doing DAMAGE CONTROL . Though we are going to see it get worse during the summer and the coming months as the investigations take hold . Trump resigning will put Mike Pence as President . As far as Trump's policies , they will not go away . BUT it will not there . A Pence Presidency will not rally the markets since the Trump fallout will bring in more investigations of other House Republicans . As far as "choices" for us American's we may have to endure four years of an attempted Theocracy under President Pence in 2018-2019 . While American relations with Russia will get better . There is one thing that is vary shocking , and it must be said . In the 2020's (4)>>Russia was a American debt holder , since Russia bought $13.5 billion of US government bonds -- better known as "Treasury securities." Russia's total holdings of US debt have now increased to nearly $100 billion, according to recently released Treasury Department data. It's the third straight month of buying from Russia.A key reason is that Russia is restocking its foreign reserves, which declined dramatically when oil prices crashed last year to their lowers level since 2003. Our Politician's can't do a thing about for the next decade . Russia has all the playing cards against America . The downfall of Trump may hurt the economy . The Stock Market could dip as low as 10,000 by 2020.
NOTES AND COMMENTS:
(1)>>Trump lashed out. President Donald Trump on Thursday blasted the appointment of Robert Mueller to be the special prosecutor overseeing the investigation into Russia’s meddling into the 2016 election, calling the probe “the single greatest witch hunt of a politician in American history.”He also accused former President Barack Obama’s administration and the campaign of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton of committing “illegal acts,” complaining that his campaign will now face the scrutiny of a special prosecutor while neither his predecessor nor 2016 opponent ever have.“With all of the illegal acts that took place in the Clinton campaign & Obama Administration, there was never a special councel [sic] appointed!” the president wrote on Twitter on Thursday morning, without elaborating further on the illegal acts he accused the Clinton campaign and Obama administration of committing. (He later fixed the spelling error.)(1.2)>>Russian intelligence . Not to err with SPECULATION on my part how the Russians put the bag on our election. I been trying to make any sense of it how it was done & which I don't believe . BUT Donald J Trump has business connections with Russia that cannot be disputed .Trump's Secretary of the State, Rex Tillerson As the long-serving CEO of U.S. oil giant Exxon Mobil, Tillerson has a close personal relationship with Putin, according to the latter’s business associates in Russia, who asked for anonymity because they still live in the country. For example {not discussing Micheal Flynn } but Trump's pro business approach in choosing billionaire associates with Russian business ties. Again what evidence is the DOJ Prosecutor going to find anything else that we already know about . The problem is that even sarcasm is almost always laced with truth. And when it came to Trump colluding with Russia, June 2016 was early even for sarcasm for Trump calling on the Russians to "hack Hillary's e-mail" . Like I wrote before that is sure sign of Treason . I personally believe that no one in the Republican party sounded the alarm . It created a questionable atmosphere within the party & yes there is a kind of political fear that if Trump goes down , all the GOP follow suit . (2)>>Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell insisted . In fact, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and Senate Intelligence Chairman Richard Burr (R-N.C.) on Wednesday forcefully rejected calls for an independent prosecutor or commission.Though senators did ask for a fuller accounting of why Comey was fired, Republicans by and large defended Trump against a Democratic firestorm of criticism."Today we'll no doubt hear calls for a new investigation, which could only serve to impede the current work being done," McConnell said on the Senate floor, referring to the Senate Intelligence Committee's probe of Russia's election meddling. (3)>>investigation as part of the Trump. Brandon Rottinghaus, a political scientist at the University of Houston, cautioned that while the appointment of a special counsel is indeed a turning point in any investigation, the path forward (including to impeachment) is far from clear. History shows that these investigations can take years and often prove inconclusive. Second, it means that the investigation has no target and no standards, and that there is no expectation it will have a public endpoint. Criminal investigations may be broad-ranging, but they are ultimately creatures of law: A crime may have been committed; investigators look to build an evidence-based case that one was, and by whom. There are witnesses, testimony, legal elements to satisfy, and often a statute of limitations that argues for wrapping things up. At the end, there’s a public accounting: an indictment and a trial or plea. If the investigation becomes publicly known, the FBI and DOJ may break from their usual practice in confidential grand-jury investigations and announce that it’s over. A counterintelligence investigation, on the other hand, seeks only information, which may be developed over a lengthy period of time, and because it carries no possibility of charges, it can never clear anyone of wrongdoing. (4)>>Russia was a American debt holder. The data from the Treasury shows that in November and December Russian investment in US government debt soared by 15 percent to $86.1 billion. Before Trump’s election win, Russia had been steadily selling off US T-bills. From January to October last year, Russian holdings slumped from $96.9 billion to $74.6 billion. The increase in November was the largest monthly purchase since relations between Moscow and Washington deteriorated over the Ukrainian crisis. For comparison, in April 2014, Russia held US Treasury bills worth $116.4 billion. The last time the Russian Central Bank made such investments in US debt was in August 2011, when it bought $11.8 billion worth of American bonds. The two largest holders of the US debt, Japan, and China, significantly reduced their holdings after Trump’s election. Japan sold off $40 billion, while China cut its holdings by $57 billion to the lowest level in almost six years. However, China had slashed its US debt holdings in the six months before Trump’s election to prop up the falling yuan, selling off $180 billion in 2016.
