There is much speculation that reading the reports that the nation is a bit unease in a pre-911 mode . This whole situation in Iraq , and Syria is making America look like a morass . The Islamic State is proving to be a political embarrassment to the ***Obama administration . NEWS reports indicate that Hundreds of (1).American citizens are among the roughly 12,000 ruthless fighters backing the IS-led Islamic State's reign of terror in the Middle East, according to a new report. The shocking revelation comes only days after video of journalist James Foley, a U.S. citizen, was released showing him savagely beheaded by a terrorist with a British accent. In my blog posting awhile back I noted that the jihadists appear not to be "Arabs", but appear to have features that racially consistent with Europeans . I warned that they look like Nazi's , or have some Nazi elements rather than being "Muslims" . American and European officials are concerned about the growing numbers of their citizens taking up the mujahedeen cause, according to the National Journal. "IS today represents a direct and growing threat to the United States... including hundreds of Europeans and Americans who can travel freely with Western passports," according to the Journal. The inhumane murder of Foley deserves a Teddy Roosevelt style declaration of war , but The President cannot declare war on the Islamic State. The power to declare war rests with congress. America can not allow it's citizens to be killed , nor should we treat these terrorists as American citizens and give them "rights" under the Constitution**** as if they were Americans , they legally can't be tried in the same way but that have to be dealt with in a way as 'enemy combatants' . Recently A Republican congressman warned Americans that President Obama would not be able to adequately protect the nation from the threat posed by the Islamic State in Iraq and Greater Syria (IS) — (2) the terrorist organization that has taken over large parts of Iraq — because the administration’s policy is being guided and influenced by “Muslims.” . ALTHOUGH the claims this Congressman might be bogus , their could be a "red herring" in it unless Mr. Obama acts . President Barack Obama, may soon have to end a two-week working vacation in Martha's Vineyard, has not yet been presented with military options for attacking Islamic State targets beyond two important areas in Iraq, said White House deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes. U.S. forces have already had one direct ground engagement with Islamic State militants in Syria. The White House said this week that a rescue mission this summer aimed at securing the freedom of Foley, Sotloff and a handful of other American hostages led to a firefight in which a number of militants were killed. The hostages were not at the location.The United States is taking the Islamic State militants far more seriously now than it did six months ago, when Obama told the New Yorker magazine that they were the "JV team," which is short for "junior varsity" and means they are not the best players on the field."We will do what's necessary to protect Americans and see that justice is done for what we saw with the barbaric killing of Jim Foley. So we're actively considering what's going to be necessary to deal with that threat, and we're not going to be restricted by borders," Rhodes said. But the current Islamic State threat — a stated desire to repeat the Foley murder on a global scale — has grown in the fertile soil of American ambiguity. The Islamic State took eastern Syria, and the U.S. did almost nothing. IS took Fallujah in January, and the U.S. did little. The group took Mosul in June, seized hard currency and American weapons, changed its name to the Islamic State and declared the caliphate, and the U.S. urged Iraqi political reform, while ramping up our intelligence capabilities. It took direct military threats against Irbil and Baghdad, and an imminent threat of genocide against the Yazidis, for America to begin limited airstrikes.Again the warnings were unheeded .

He wants to bring them back to the USA for a trial and give them the same rights as a US citizen in a US court. -- Not a good Idea. (1). What kind of Americans would ever want to join these murdering bastards?I'm ashamed that so many Americans would want to support these terrorists. IS should be exterminated. Including any Americans or Europeans who want to take up their cause. (2). For months, Obama has been struggling with how to get it right this time -- how to contain and eradicate the Islamic State without making the United States the Muslim world’s enemy.
