This NOVEMBER 5th .. there is going to be so much ballot's not being counted it's going to make the 2020 election look TAME .The public opinion of our government is low.Voters can respond in a couple of ways. The first is to stay away, and not vote. Off year elections have dismal turn-out, typically around 25% of eligible voters. This isn’t the sign of an engaged or enthusiastic electorate, and isn’t a good sign for a democracy. A second common response is to reject either party. The current two-party political system has encouraged the rise of the most extreme candidates, taking rational moderates out of the national conversation,The current two-party system gives too much power to the extremists in each party. Much of that is actually institutional in nature. So, for example, the primary system means that in a lot of states, independent voters are essentially unrepresented in choosing the two candidates who are going to appear on the general election ballot. In this election , the heated rhetoric between Trump and Kamala is no exception . The demand for " Change " that catchy word that Pres. Obama wiggled his way through the last eight years in reality has maintained the status quo. I've often asked my self . I am better off than I was eight years ago ? Once you get beyond fraud, however, it's a lot more... plausible. In the wake of the pandemic, many states implemented emergency measures that changed how votes were cast and counted. Additionally, there were a lot of strange occurrences on election night, and in the days afterwards. Some of these have explanations, some don't, and not all the explanations are well known or uncontested. This is stuff like how all but one bellwether county were wrong, which has never happened before. For reference, bellwether districts are one of the metrics that international agencies use when determining if an election is free and fair. There are some explanation to this, but they're not conclusive. Also, we're faced with an unprecedented voter demographics. Trump is the first second term candidate to gain a higher percentage of the vote and still lose. He also gained ground in every demographic group in America, save white males. What makes this particular worrisome is we know there was an effort to manipulate the election to ensure Trump didn't win. It doesn't show anything illegal, but account for much of issues that are raised, from policy changes with dubious legality, to coordinated news coverage, to issues with polling locations ranging from overt anti trump messages posted by volunteers to favored treatment for mail in ballot, which favored democrats. Joe and Kamala snuck into the polling places wearing Hamburglar masks, and they stuffed the ballots into black burlap sacks with a dollar sign on the side. Then they skulked off into the night, cackling at their perfidity.Then they...oh, I can't do it. Just stop, folks. Any widespread fraud would have been exposed by now.Did it happen on a small scale in some circumstances? Maybe. And if it did, I really want it investigated, no matter who it benefited. R'N ALL , Trump should have won 2020 , that I have to admit . Now to my Democrat friends , I admit that I told them back in 2020 that the worse of the two evils was Biden .... Biden , is part of some Deep State option , but who you'd think is running the country now ? Obama -Michelle , or Hillary Clinton ? You still haven't asked the real question: why did they steal the ballots? And the answer is staring you in the face! The Lizard People burn the ballots to create toxic smoke as part of a terraforming project to make the Earth favorable for them. Then they use the 5G wireless signals to alert the Robot Space Pope, who is the one really in charge of our elections. Donald Trump, who is in a secret cabal with Keanu Reeves and the ghost of Dwight Eisenhower, is the only one who has a campaign platform of resisting their inevitable oncoming invasion. There is quite an apparent lack of transparency. This is evident from the elections, and with Covid. People no longer want to accept whatever their government and the media tell them. This was the first big election where most of the voting was done by mail. I’m not claiming one way or the other but I think people’s concerns should be addressed in a meaningful way rather than gaslighting. As far as fraud, I do believe there was fraud in the 2020 election. I also believe there was fraud in the 2016 election. And the 2012, and the 2008, and the 2004, and so on. Oh, and I believe there will be fraud in the 2024 election, and beyond. There is always fraud, there will always be fraud. This isn't disputable, and until very recently it was just accepted that there will be some fraud. The catch is that I don't believe fraud has ever risen to a level where it would even come close to affecting the results of a national election. Some podunk town county clerk race with 100 total votes? Maybe, I guess. Statistically I'm sure any fraud there would have a better chance of affecting things, but anything beyond tiny county scales I just don't think fraud is a big enough concern when it comes to elections, considering the massive amount of votes involved. Should we do stuff to stop fraud? Absolutely, and we do. Could we do more? Maybe. I don't know, at some point there's a point of diminishing returns. I guess it would just depend on the measures planned and what negative collateral damage they would cause. Either way, that's just hypotheticals, and discussion that I think is purely neutral and reasonable that suddenly isn't politically palatable anymore to talk about without stirring the pot. My reply always is, so what if the Democrats cheated it's Trump's fault for letting them get by with it. If he knew they were cheating ahead of time as he says that he did and was President of the United States the most powerful man in the world and couldn't stop it he deserved to lose. You don't handle a scorpion saying that it's going to sting you and then be surprised and upset whenever you get stung.You can't really get mad at the Democrats doing exactly what you say they're going to do when Trump and the Republicans did absolutely nothing to prevent it. Either way, just my two cents... The 2024 election matters. It's fair to say we need better candidates and better electoral processes in general, but this narrative about Biden sucks is the worst thing anybody could say against US democracy at this point in time short of supporting Trump. The US is a crumbling Empire operating under the illusion of being a democracy, with a corrupt economic system that has failed, a Govt and media that has been purchased by the ruling class and corporations and has become such a joke, that we are on a rematch of Biden vs Trump.
