HAMAS KILLED THE PEACE . AND BIBI Netanyahu Ruined THE ISRAELI NATION . |
So the last major Intel failure in Israel led to the Yom Kippur War which was not Israel's best moment. The fallout basically ended Mapei's dominance of Israel politics and led to the rise of Likud. The recent killings of Israeli civilians are horrific. There can be no justification for the slaughter of innocents, whether in Israel or Gaza. (1)>>BIBI Netanyahu made probably the worst mistake in Israeli history . AS far as the Israeli intelligence given warnings of possible Hamas attacks from the CIA ,EGYPT Bibi sat on this for almost a month before shit hit the fan and many innocent Israelis died . It would seem that Israelis will hold Bibi accountable for fanning the flames and failing to secure the nation. One man (2)>>(Bibi) alone couldn't make this disaster happen, others had to concur and stand down in various ways. They will band together to prevent any investigation concluding (much like what happened w/ 9/11 Commission). I think this may be it for him when the smoke clears.Especially since we already know that while his was fighting with protesters the US was sending Intel an attack was being planned.Let’s look at other facts. How in the world, did Israeli intelligence services miss an attack of this scale completely? They literally have spies and informants everywhere, particularly in Palestinian Territories. Apparently Egypt had warned them 10 days ago that something big was coming. (3)>>Let’s not forgot that Netanyahu was facing historic protests due to his judicial reforms which was causing a huge schism within Israeli society. Nobody will be talking about those reforms for a while now. It's more likely that US intelligence agencies planned to let the attack occur so they could use it as justification to further their own ends. This is exactly what happened when they used 9-11 to enact the neo-cons plan to invade Iraq. They knew.
DESTROY GAZA . Israeli Bibi Government wants to wipe out Palestinians . Perfect excuse for the unpopular (4)>>Netanyahu to consolidate power and put Gaza under complete submission. "Gotta break a few eggs" is the favorite slogan for the sadistic "ends justify the means" types. But historically in Israel people have held the leader to account for intelligence failures and its not clear to me that there is a clear difference in the perception of patriotism between the right and left the way there is in the US.Also one critical factor that remains to be seen is the fate of the hostages. I think it was 15 years ago or so, but Israel traded over 1000 prisoners to get one hostage back. Making sure everyone comes home is extraordinarily important. Now, this attack may have hardened that perspective....I'm not sure. But if those hostages are killed.....I could see Bibi getting blamed with significant political and personal consequences. This strains credulity to me that a state that is in a constant uh mode of alert with multiple warnings from outside intelligence agencies would have not doubled down on security at that time now I maybe I'm wrong I I'd have to hear the argument that he made but that fact pattern yeah combined with their motivation to get Palestinians out of that region suggests to me that they probably let it happen well . (5)>>It would seem that Israelis will hold Bibi accountable for fanning the flames and failing to secure the nation. I think this may be it for him when the smoke clears. The public is being played for fools while the military-industrial complex enriches itself. As if Israel ever was the underdog with the backing of all the Western superpowers. It’s incredible how an oppressor can have such a victim mentality, he most likely believes his own lies. Can you hate the state of Israel without hating Jews, yes. Can you hate salafists and other religious extremists without hating all Muslims, yes. Can you hate Putin while reading Dostoyevsky, yes. Does acknowledging that both Russia and Ukraine has issues with corruption and neo-nazi groups make you support an offensive war and war crimes, no. I’m starting to lean more and more towards the old Russian futurists. Burn it all down to build something better. He has gotten exactly what he wanted,to butcher more Palestinians and steal more land and build more illegal settlements.
BIBI Netanyahu the Dictator as BEST.
Israel has an extensive history of false flags. They have absolutely no real interest in peace, because conflict is their pretext for expansion and colonization and bilking aid dollars. So I think Israel would let a couple hundred ravers get shot to glass Gaza City? Absolutely. They almost got away with sinking the USS Liberty to get the US into a war with Egypt, with absolutely no consequences for them.I think a Netanyahu went from being five minutes away from being called a dictator in his own country to a Father of the Nation? Don’t worry about his party, he will keep it together. There is no politician in Israel at the moment (or in foreseeable future) who can really take on him. Also, globally speaking, Israel has been slowly but steadily becoming more and more of a villain for everyone in the civilized world. I don’t know if this trend has been reversed completely, but it is certainly set aside for a while.Israel has some of the best intelligence services and their mossad is 100% on point. This will likely be (6)>>the end of Netanyahu after the war is over though. Same type of intelligence failure happened in 1973 which essentially forced the resignation of the PM, Golda Meir, after the war. They are the gold standard for national defense. No way in hell that Israel was unaware that this was coming.
NOTES AND COMMENTS : (1)>>BIBI Netanyahu made probably the worst mistake in Israeli history . Well he was just a couple months ago busy trying to overthrow their current judicial system and effectively install himself as a dictator which everyone was pretty upset about. I wouldn't be surprised if the current "intelligence oversight" was a last ditch attempt to consolidate power but he'd have to be pretty monstrous to do that so I doubt that was actually the case. If he manages to overcome hamas entirely and drive out the last of the Palestinians I could see that rallying support for him. The only thing that makes sense given the conflicting intelligence reports and the shocking brutality of the attack is Hamas’ forces went out of control. It seems plausible their plan was to attack IDF bases as a diversion while kidnapping civilians to be held for ransom. There’s no way Iran would’ve signed off on what happened or Netanyahu would’ve let it happened. But instead of a professional army, Hamas had a poorly trained rabble of angry young men. And like always has happened in warfare, they went out of control and massacred civilians. Now everything’s escalating out of control and there’s no clear way out.(2)>>(Bibi) alone couldn't make this disaster happen. My whole thing is that Bibi has been known for being an authoritarian. If he does something bold to appease hard liners, he might get to keep office. What’s the end game for allowing an attack to take place though? This surely isn’t a good thing for Netanyahu’s government? It’s going to tear his party to pieces, just think Israel may have the world on his side right now, but surely there will be hardliners within his party and government that will push hard for them to fully occupy West Bank. If they were to occupy West Bank surely the international opinion would sour and if he doesn’t move to occupy then he’s just facing down dissent within his own party. Not to mention the fact that now Lebanon may feel emboldened to make a move. I just don’t see what the upshot in not acting on such intelligence would be it seems like a lose/lose/lose situation. Yes. It was a double holiday. Your surprise shows how little you know about the history. They literally did the same thing on Yom Kippur 50 years ago. That president was removed from office. Seems pretty stupid to do the exact same thing but worse and not only expect to keep your office but think it’s going to somehow help. The rave was in a forested area right outside of Gaza which isn’t very populated. The electric fence was disabled from inside Israel and then hit with bulldozers to open room.(3)>>Let’s not forgot that Netanyahu was facing historic protests due to his judicial reforms which was causing a huge schism within Israeli society. JUST & months ago Hundreds of thousands of Israelis rallied against the government's judicial plans on Saturday night, in what organisers said were the biggest street protests in Israel's history.Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says the changes - which would curb the power of courts - will restore balance between the branches of government. Opponents say they threaten democracy. Israel is shifting into a fascist apartheid state, that's not some weird phrasing, its what the UN says and if the UN is telling you, your'e going too far, you have really fucked up. The demonstrators, mostly Israelis, carried Israeli flags that said, “Free in our land,” a line from the national anthem, and chanted, “Democracy or rebellion” and “shame” to the beat of a snare drum.“If there won’t be equality, we’ll take down the government, you came down on the wrong generation,” they chanted, in a refrain from the protest movement in Israel. He mainly wants to severely weaken the supreme court's checks on the government. For example, the supreme court can now overturn certain actions by the government on account of being "unreasonable". Netanyahu wants to cancel that. The Supreme Court can overrule any law by the Knesset (the Israeli legislature) with the reasoning that it is unconstitutional (Israel doesn't quite have a constitution, but it does have a set of basic laws that serve as a proto-constitution). Netanyahu wants to make it harder for them to do so (need a bigger majority) and also give the Knesset the ability to override this decision with a simple majority.Judges are picked by a committee which includes politicians, lawyers and judges. Netanyahu wants to change the composition of this committee making it more political, so the ruling party has a majority in deciding who can be a judge.(4)>>Netanyahu to consolidate power and put Gaza under complete submission. "Gotta break a few eggs" is the favorite slogan for the sadistic "ends justify the means". In a video statement posted Monday to X, formerly Twitter, Belarra called on the Spanish government to launch a petition for the ICC to investigate Netanyahu over allegedly "carrying out a planned genocide in the Gaza Strip" in retaliation for the October 7 surprise attack by Islamist militant group Hamas. The apocalyptic scenes and sounds in Gaza are proof that a cruel, occupying army is intent on achieving its overarching aim: the annihilation of what remains of an already shattered slice of land and the indiscriminate killing of helpless, exhausted children, women and men.Over decades, a succession of immune Israeli governments and their useful proxies, the rampaging settler militias, have waged incremental genocide, bit by bit, with the explicit approval, consent, and encouragement of Western governments – who, in a predictable show of performative solidarity with a ruthless ally – have bathed their tourist attractions in blue and white or the Star of David. The final and most crucial factor is international support. After speaking to President Biden, Netanyahu reported back that Western leaders had “promised Israel would have freedom of action to continue this battle.” No official U.S. statement has directly urged Israel to show restraint. Ethnic cleansing and genocide can happen anywhere. It happens when international powers provide carte blanche, a blank check or signal of unconditional support in the face of expected violence. The Israeli military is now launching what it has called an “extensive attack” on Gaza. One need only listen to the words of those in charge to fear that ethnic cleansing may be afoot. “We are fighting human animals and we are acting accordingly,” Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said on Monday as he announced a complete siege of Gaza, blocking any food or water. More than 300,000 Palestinians have already been displaced. Without a hint of irony, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told civilians in Gaza to “get out now.” But under siege, Gazans have nowhere to go. From Netanyahu's public address to the people of Israel:"We’re hitting “our enemies with unprecedented force,” he went on, but “I stress: It’s only the beginning. Our enemies have only just begun to pay the price. I won’t detail what will come next. But I’m telling you, it’s only the beginning.”He has already broken international law. Proportional response is what is needed, not scorched earth.(5)>>It would seem that Israelis will hold Bibi accountable for fanning the flames and failing to secure the nation. In any event he hopes to transform this moment to his own maximum advantage (his calls for a "unity government," like his saber-rattling, seem transparently self-serving).Netanyahu is talking of a prolong war which means time buying for his term. Ordinary people on both sides of the question are paying a horrid price for Bibi's neuroses, and his colossal vanity. The disaster that befell Israel on the holiday of Simchat Torah is the clear responsibility of one person: Benjamin Netanyahu. The prime minister, who has prided himself on his vast political experience and irreplaceable wisdom in security matters, completely failed to identify the dangers he was consciously leading Israel into when establishing a government of annexation and dispossession.Netanyahu and by proxy the US are largely to blame, as the US pretends it's on some moral high horse in Ukraine while it enabled Israel to impose apartheid upon the Palestinian people. It was only a matter of time and now Israel has it's excuse to openly massacre Palestinians, now with media coverage that will obsess about the war while it ignores the oppression.(6)>>the end of Netanyahu after the war is over though. An overwhelming majority of 86% of respondents, including 79% of coalition supporters, said the surprise attack from Gaza is a failure of the country's leadership.Four out of five Jewish Israelis believe the government and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are to blame for the mass infiltration of Hamas terrorists into Israel and the massacre that followed, a new Dialog Center poll released on Thursday found. Obviously it’s one poll and being taken immediately after the attack but Israelis seem to be firmly blaming Bibi for allowing this attack to happen. Netanyahu should’ve expected an attack. It was the 50th anniversary of the Yom Kippur War - the single most predictable day ever for an attack. Egyptian Intelligence reportedly warned Israel days in advance that they suspected this.Instead, Netanyahu divided and distracted the country with his judicial power-grab, pulled troops away from Gaza, and was totally distracted and caught off guard by the attack. Far more Israelis were killed because of it.Israelis get this, and when the dust settles, there will be accountability in government over this travesty. Starting with the PM. This conflict is very complicated and comprises multiple groups behaving in understandable and human ways which unfortunately result in mass human suffering. What can the population of Gaza, overwhelmingly younger than 30, reasonably do about Hamas? Are they really responsible for their parent's failures? Can they be expected not to radicalize when they live in abject poverty and their families are killed? Can Israelis be expected to have sympathy for their plight when they indiscriminately fire rockets at them and have spent the past 70 years fighting for their annihilation? Can they be expected to give up settlements when they were rewarded for withdrawing from Gaza by the ascendance of Hamas? The sad reality is that both sides have been too traumatized to care about the trauma of the other.
