The Debate was called a disgrace with no winner at all. |
Did anyone survive the first 😂Debate of the century ? (1)>>Note that the WHOLE WORLD WAS WATCHING! Donald Trump and Joe BIden did put on a show that gives two contrasts to the American people. You have to wonder just by looking at these two old men that one of them is right , the other is wrong.
WELL because i've become
less enchanted with both of them i was kind of open and hoping to hear something
that was going to change my mind and i'm just disgusted by i mean it's just i didn't see any respect on either side
when when trump was interrupting biden constantly when biden turned around and said you clown to the president of the united states if a foreigner had done thatwe'd be up in arms it's just i'veagain i had little respect for him i have less now for both of them both of them , but the MESSSAGE of solving problems in America was missing .The 90-minute debate was widely condemned as being among the worst in living memory, with moments of chaos and disorder that were topped by the president’s refusal to denounce white supremacy. So what went wrong ? I had a gut feeling that it was not going to be a good political debate . Honestly for the Republicans , Trump has to do better in the second debate . It's very informative to viewers to watch the 2 candidates on the same stage be asked the same question, & then listen to their answers. It gives viewers an opportunity to assess their decorum, statesmanship, & overall familiarity with what's asked. It helps us determine who knows the rules; who'll react appropriately when confronted with someone voicing facts or opinions they don't agree with. This should steer voters to the "right" choice, but Donald Trump shows how badly that can fail. In his debates with Hillary Clinton, he interrupted her, often stood menacingly behind her while she spoke, while constantly saying things like "wrong" whenever she stated something he disagreed with.Apparently, there are Americans who approve of his unprofessional & inappropriate behavior! For Democrats , (1.2)>>Biden has to get to the grind stone, he can't be looking weak. It was crazy , but Trump is vary predictable .I really don't think there are more than a handful of voters out there that are going to change who they're going to vote for because of a debate. I 100% expect the headlines to read "Biden crushes trump, Trump looks like a fool", a couple of highlights of what Biden said right, a couple of fact checks about what Trump said wrong, and an advertisement for the next upcoming debate.Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if 80% of tomorrow's articles that are going to come out aren't already written, and just waiting to add a few bits and pieces. So I am going to put a few words to this , a few people on both sides of politics are NOT GOING TO LIKE IT ! SO HEAR ME OUT. First, (2)>>Trump is Shock theater, anyone should have known that he is going blast Biden , you might say he's a bully with orange hair and so on . Trump like his previous debate with Hillary in 2016 , he showed a total lack of professional conduct, but Trump is not exactly "normal", he is a showman whose skill is rip people apart . So how to conduct a debate , may be Mike Pence should have taught him a few points . I can understand Trump's inner rage, you have to understand that for four years Trump has hounded with everykind of political smear game in the dirty playbook . So it seemed to me that he was defending himself. He cracked under pressure , he was spending most of hist time being attcked by (3)>>FOX news moderator Chris Wallace . So the debate was ruined . NOW WITH Joe Biden he's Trump's worst nightmare. I STILL believe that Trump last year when he opened up that perfect " call" with the Ukrainain leader on Biden son Hunter , Trump was looking for dirt, that may he [Trump] may have had an idea that Joe Biden was going to win the nomination of the DNC . So in an unexpected way Trump ended up face to face with Biden and no other Democrat . UNLESS it's ALL FAKE anyway , a sham election , a sham debate on stage. The Debate was disgraceful . Second , Biden with those rather timid black beady-eyes did not really wing it out as I expected . I expected that Biden would get equally filled with rage so he would be just as worse as Trump . in stead Biden took the timid route , he kept his mouth shut , grined . Trump is not so far behind Biden in the race that he is hardly in a position to back out of the debates at this point. He desperately needs to turn attention away from COVID or the economy. BUT TRUMP is a man of OLD TRICKS! But I don't think that the debates will be very influential. This is a very polarizing race with high stakes, most people will have made up their mind at this point (many already have).Trump's SUDDEN Positive Covid Illness ?
Donald Trump ridiculed Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden for wearing a mask so often, saying, " (4)>>If I were a psychiatrist, right, you know I’d say: 'This guy’s got some big issues.'" |
The Year 2020 might be the craziest year in history. When I FIRST heard that Donald J Trump tested positive for COVID -19 , I was just beside my self just did not know what to make of it .From the earliest days of the coronavirus pandemic, there has been a disconnect between the guidance of public health experts and the actions of Trump and some of his deputies. From holding large gatherings to resisting masks, the president, his administration and his campaign have sent conflicting messages to the American public as they sought to portray an image of strength and normality. I think there is SOMETHING GOING ON . I suspect , I mean we have a right to speculate that "yes" Trump has Covid , but on the other hand he might be faking it? Trump ridiculed Biden for wearing masks during the debate , he ripped one that look like a stunt for Comic act . I was just laughing . So Trump's story gets a bit bizzare , So he is on experimental anti body cocktail, supplemental oxygen, potential pneumonia in lungs, (5)>>Remdisvir, and now a ultra strong steroid. But "mild symptoms" and "discharged" tomorrow ? That statement , from various so called doctors treating him is puzzling .So the company that gave him the experimental drug said it might have been made available under "compassionate use", but wasn't specific. Compassionate use is only for life-threatening conditions. The medicine is currently in clinical trials and isn't approved by the Food and Drug and Administration. How the president's medical team got the medicine wasn't disclosed in the statement. In response to NPR's query, (6)>>Regeneron declined to comment specifically, citing patient confidentiality. But Regeneron said it can make the drug available outside a clinical trial through a "compassionate use program," subject to the OK of a review committee. The fact that he’s not rage tweeting demands to postpone the election due to ‘unfairness’, screaming about how he’s perfectly healthy and the biased fake news liberal media is lying, and calling in to ramble on Fox is a pretty damning bit of information. Over the last few years, Trump and his administration have deliberately mislead the public on a near daily basis. The news agencies don't know a lot at the moment either. This situation has far reaching consequences depending on how it all pans out and it's worrying. All people want are honest answers and unfortunately, the first assumption with Trump is that he is lying so people are left with nothing more that having to make a good guess.I agree that we'll have to wait and see for the truth but in the meantime it'd be better for some people in the thread to exercise a little more kindness and understanding given the lack of reliable evidence and how serious the situation is. It isn't really helpful and it's not what people need right now.
NOTES AND COMMENTS:
(1)>>Note that the WHOLE WORLD WAS WATCHING! Global reaction to the debate between President Trump and Democratic challenger Joe Biden was largely similar to reactions in the U.S. But to many international observers, Tuesday's spectacle wasn't just unseemly; it represented an America in decline, eliciting pity in some cases, and in others, leading some to question whether democracy is a political system worth embracing. The world was watching the U.S. presidential debate on Tuesday night, and what they saw was not pretty. That’s shocking stuff, and it would only be natural to conclude that the debate radically shifted the globe’s perceptions of the US. But the reality is far more troubling: In the Trump era, the US is historically disliked because of the president and his inept leadership. We can say also that America in the view of the world was eroding since September 11th , 2001 . The debate didn’t shatter positive perceptions of the US. That was certainly the quick view in China, where official reaction was careful but that of the Global Times, a Communist Party propaganda sheet, was gleeful.Hu Xijin, the paper’s editor, said that Trump and Biden “obviously did not show an exemplary role to American people on how to engage in debates.” He added: “Such a chaos at the top of U.S. politics reflects division, anxiety of U.S. society and the accelerating loss of advantages of the U.S. political system.”Foreign policy was barely mentioned in the debate, but China has been a regular target during the campaign on topics as varied as the coronavirus pandemic and trade. Wang Wenbin, a spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, said on Wednesday that the government “resolutely opposes” efforts to involve China in the U.S. election and that accusations leveled against Beijing during the debate were “groundless and untenable.”Others weighed in on Chinese social media platforms, saying that the debate had left them puzzled and amused. One user said that Trump’s frequent interruptions of Biden lent a “comedic feel” to what should have been a serious discussion, while another compared the debate to a quarrel at a vegetable market. They were already broken. The nation's weakness was open to world opinions.(1.2)>>Biden has to get to the grind stone, he can't be looking weak. Biden winning is another story that "we" hope the American public would avoid . It's ONE of the hardest choices right now.. BUT BIden is Mirror Image of Jimmy Carter .Mr. Biden simply does no longer have the mental acuity to make hard-line decisions. Can you picture him negotiating treaties with Putin or Kim Jong-un? Pelosi and Schumer will be the powers behind the curtain, hiding in his shadow. To think of Biden’s age another way, he is older than his party’s nominee in each of the seven most recent presidential elections: Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, John Kerry, Al Gore, and Bill Clinton. One must go back to 86-year-old Michael Dukakis, who lost the 1988 election to George H.W. Bush, to find a Democratic presidential nominee born before Biden was. Now The Associated Press reports that several key Democrats are concerned about Biden’s lackluster campaign and lack of personal appearances. They have good reason to be concerned. The narrative drama in his performances comes largely from the possibility that he will step on his own words and create a self-damaging storyline. After marinating for 36 years in the U.S. Senate, the best that can be said about his political persona is that it is bland. What is now clear is that his claim on the presidency comes not despite blandness but in essential ways because of it.(2)>>Trump is Shock theater, anyone should have known that he is going blast Biden. I Think Trump is more vulgar than anyone who’s held the office before him? The Debate , Trump looked as if he lost his temper , he was cutting Biden down to size before Biden was even trying to open his mouth to say anything. The debate quickly became personal, and that continued when Biden said that many more people would die from Covid-19 unless Trump got “a lot smarter, a lot quicker.”The president lashed back at the former vice president by referring to Biden comments from last year that have been taken out of context by conservative media.Biden responded with exasperation to Trump’s attack: “Oh, give me a break.”The tenor became clear early on as the two candidates sparred over healthcare. Hectoring from Mr Trump saw Mr Biden call the president a "clown".As they moved on to the Supreme Court, the rancour continued, with Mr Biden refusing to answer when asked if he would try to expand the number of judges."Will you shut up, man?" the Democratic candidate snapped at Mr Trump, later adding: "Keep yapping, man."Mr Trump, the Republican candidate seeking a second term, responded: "The people understand, Joe. Forty-seven years [in politics], you've done nothing. They understand."(3)>>FOX news moderator Chris Wallace . President Donald Trump tangled with debate moderator Chris Wallace early in the night, repeatedly interrupting a question about why he hasn’t released a comprehensive health care plan to replace the Affordable Care Act. Chris Wallace slammed President Donald Trump’s family members and Chief of Staff Mark Meadows for breaking safety rules and not wearing masks while in the audience of the presidential debate he moderated on Tuesday.“Everybody was told to wear a mask. Why did the first family and chief of staff feel that the rules for everybody else didn’t apply to them?” Wallace asked senior Trump campaign adviser Steve Cortes on Fox News Sunday. Wallace highlighted that Cleveland Clinic staff had offered the first family masks but “they were waved away.” With a pugilistic President Trump relentlessly interrupting his opponent, Joseph R. Biden Jr., Mr. Wallace struggled to keep the proceedings coherent, reduced at times to pleading with the president to pause and allow the Democratic presidential nominee to speak. “Mr. President, I am the moderator of this debate, and I would like you to let me ask my question and then you can answer it,” Mr. Wallace, sounding more headmaster than moderator, instructed Mr. Trump early on. (Mr. Trump did not accede.) Wallace also drew criticism for saying during a Fox News appearance on Sunday that he doesn’t plan to vigorously fact-check the torrent of false claims likely to be made by Trump.“My job is to be as invisible as possible,” Wallace said. “I’m trying to get them to engage, to focus on the key issues, to give people at home a sense of, ‘Why I want to vote for one versus the other.’” (4)>>If I were a psychiatrist, right, you know I’d say: 'This guy’s got some big issues.'" Trump did steal the show , with some of his remarks. It had me running to get a shot of some Wine.... He says like a stand up comic ... "I have a mask right here. I put the mask on it, you know [when] I think I need it. As an example, everybody's had a test, and you've had social distancing and all of the things that you have to, but I wear a mask, when needed -- when needed, I wear masks. I don't -- I don’t wear masks like him. Every time you see him, he's got a mask. He could be speaking 200 feet away from me, and he shows up with the biggest mask I've ever seen," Trump said, mocking Joe Biden at the first presidential debate on Sept. 29. (5)>>Remdisvir. Remdesivir, a drug that once offered hope against Ebola, is now in the spotlight as the only current effective medication for COVID-19. But experts caution that it’s no “silver bullet” against the disease caused by the new coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2. President Donald Trump previously reported he earned capital gains from Regeneron Pharmaceuticals and Gilead Sciences Inc., the manufacturers of two of the medicines he's taken as part of his COVID-19 treatment plan. . Possible side effects include: increased levels of liver enzymes, which may be a sign of inflammation or damage to cells in the liver; and infusion-related reactions, which may include low blood pressure, nausea, vomiting, sweating, and shivering.(6)>>Regeneron. According to a 2017 financial disclosure form filed with the U.S. Office of Government Ethics in June 2017, Trump had a capital gain of $50,001 to $100,000 for Regeneron Pharmaceuticals and $100,001 to $1 million for Gilead Sciences Inc. The form notes the information was of April 15, 2017. The antibodies Regeneron makes are similar to those developed by people who catch the virus and survive it. Given in a concentrated dose administered through an intravenous drip, the manufactured antibodies are designed to grab hold of the viral particles and neutralize them. What’s certain is that any company whose drug Trump takes could get a massive boost of publicity, perhaps even from the presidential Twitter feed. Today’s events could also accelerate an emergency approval for Regeneron’s drug, which would make it available to more people. Regeneron said Thursday its trial drug, named REGN-COV2, reduced the virus load and the time needed to ease symptoms in non-hospitalized patients with COVID-19 and showed "positive trends in reducing medical visits. That simple huh? Kind of makes you wonder why 208,000 Americans are dead when there's such a simple solution for it in even a 74 year old. Sure wish even one of those 208,000 people had had access to such a miracle treatment "Quite the gamble, betting your company on the outcome of Trump's health. I imagine any sane investor would not be happy with taking that sort of risk with their money.
