They Live " again!".

Roddy Piper starts off on a wrong day
after he picks up a pair of
" shades"
While many in Americas are worried about what Trump does next . While our political system is in chaos right now .  You grab a beer and watch the WWE wrestling match . You probably want to pop a video into your VCR [ blu- ray disk today] and watch a movie called simply (1)>>They Live was released in 1988, following a couple of likeably macho salt of the earth types (played by (1.2)>>Roddy Piper and(1.3)>>Keith David) as they discover that the upper class of society are alien monsters lulling us into a stupor with pop culture, exploiting us and polluting our planet while living the high life. They Live which prevents the humans from seeing the subliminal messages and from (2)>>seeing the skull faced aliens as they truly are.  Change the size of the TV sets, gingerly sprinkle the phrase “1%” into the ideologue, digitally insert cell phones into the characters’ hands, have a few extras snapping selfies in the background and They Live.   (3)>>BUT GREED AND COOPERATE POWER is strong and real,  in fact a controversial new study from Princeton and Northwestern University's concludes that America is now ruled by the interests of the rich which of course makes us not a democracy but an oligarch is a deep understanding in this country that we are living in a rigged economy it is hard to believe but in the United States of America today the top one-tenth of 1% now owns almost as much wealth as the bottom 90% 1/10 of 1% bottom 90% study just came out fairly recently indicating that in the United States of America today the three wealthiest people in our country Bill Gates Jeff Bezos and Warren Buffett now own more wealth than the bottom half of the American

people.  They Live is gold. Based on (4)>>Ray Nelson’s short story Eight O’Clock in the Morning, the movie is one of those rare subversive stories that forces viewers to question their world and their surroundings. Because, despite the fact that the movie is about ghoulish aliens, it communicates truths to the viewers that are only alluded to in mainstream movies. In fact, looking deeper into the storyline, one might realize that there’s probably more “science” than “fiction” in the story of They Live (5)>>  especially when one has “truth-seeing sunglasses”.   The hero of the movie, played by WWF wrestler Rowdy Roddy Pipper, is a drifter that is apparently nameless. In the short story and the movie’s credits, (5.1)>>he is referred to as Nada, which means ‘nothing’ in Spanish. While this nameless nothing is broke and homeless, he still manages to expose the alien’s hidden rule of the world. How did he accomplish that? With the only thing he’d ever need:  (5.2)>>The Truth. Oh, and also guns. He used a lot of guns. Most importantly, despite the fact that Nada was
tempted several times to shut up in exchange for “generous compensation”, he kept his integrity and never agreed to sell out to the aliens. Now, that’s a role model. To top it off, he says the best things ever. They Live, meanwhile is kinda real , with all this technology , it has created real monsters , perhaps we are all asleep ,  (6)>>put into some way a trance by the media , we may never WAKE UP!.  I wish they’d gotten to the sunglasses sooner — the B&W subliminal-world visuals were the best thing it had going for it.  They Live makes the process
"look all we want you do is

of understanding sociopolitical corruption into the stuff of paranoia-fueled throwback horror cinema. T
hey Live is a staunchly working-class film in both tone and place.  (7)>>Set near Skid Row in Los Angeles, the film is entirely concerned with the lives of people at street level, hustling to get by in a society that privileges wealth and demeans its impoverished. Nada is a drifter, blowing into town in search of construction work. He lands some thanks to Frank (Keith David), but it’s hardly much. Everybody in Carpenter’s L.A. is scraping, living in pop-up encampments and hoping to keep getting by without being hassled. Yet before long, the police show up to tear down the shantytown, which sends Nada into a nearby church secretly run by radicals. Instead of weapons, Nada finds only a pile of sunglasses. It’s not until the next day that Nada puts the glasses on, and realizes exactly why they’re so valuable: (8)>>the sunglasses allow the wearer to see through the propaganda of the world, and see just how many hideous, skeletal aliens have infiltrated our everyday lives. From police to bankers to talking heads on your TV, the majority of the world’s most powerful people are out to brainwash you into consumption and obedience.
(9)>>They are our masters. We don;t know  "Wake up.” Now doesn’t that sound like the Illuminati? Now RRP finds these truth seeing sunglasses inside
.... Now I am reading clearly ....
the church which is actually the headquarters of an underground organization that is trying to take down the rulers.
This movie from the eighties is actually telling us all of this! Come on! Then as people are watching tv it’s interrupted by broadcasts with these messages: “Our impulses are being redirected. We are living in an artificially induced state of consciousness that resembles sleep. The poor and the under class are growing. Racial justice and human rights are nonexistent. They have created a repressive society, and we are their unwitting accomplices. Their intention to rule rests with the annihilation of consciousness. We have been lulled into a trance. They have made us indifferent to ourselves, to others. We are focused on our own gain. please understand. They are safe as long as they are not discovered. Keep us asleep, keep us selfish, keep us sedated.” Now tell me if that is not what’s happening at this very minute! When RRP  puts on these truth seeing sunglasses he can see the real deal, the alien faces, the subliminal messages all around; i.e. magazines, man holding money in his hand.   (10)>>Religion most likely is one of the ways that aka
Money is the god of this world
a easy slip by the aliens
to control people .
aliens keep people from seeing what is going on around them , if everything is but a deep subliminal illusion which the creatures preach from their pulpits to hypnotized humans who are caught up in the big capitalist cosmic swindle have become easy prey to the subconsciousness of suggestion like
“Marry and Reproduce” and  (10.1)>>“This is your God” in black on a white background. While the alien trick is to get people to think that the a god or gods  had to  created them , given them a set of morals , holy books , etc . But blind spirituality putting people into a trance , by given humankind an illusion by rejecting science ,  but in reality are being exploited like cattle .   The climax of the film is the destruction of the alien antenna transmitting the the subliminal illusions Nada and Frank engage in a gun battle with the guards in the studio hallways and offices. Holly, who works at the station, is found by Frank and Nada and she leads them up to the roof of the building where the dish is broadcasting. Making it to a stairway, Nada runs up to the roof expecting that Holly and Frank are behind him. Suddenly, Holly pulls out a gun, presses it against Frank's temple, and kills him. Through the special contact lenses that he is wearing, Nada notices the broadcasting antenna. Holly gets to the roof, then takes aim at Nada. Here, Nada finally realizes that  (11)>>Holly is yet another human collaborator with the aliens (and possibly the one who led the police to the rebels hiding spot). Then, a police helicopter appears where the aliens aboard order Nada to step away from the broadcasting

antenna.
Aware that he is a dead man no matter what, Nada uses a hidden sleeve pistol and kills Holly. Nada then turns his attention back to the broadcasting antenna. Nada is immediately shot and fatally wounded by alien police marksmen in the hovering helicopter, but manages to get one final shot from his small pistol and destroys the broadcasting antenna. As a last dying defiant act, Nada gives  (12)>>the aliens in the hovering helicopter "the finger" as he lies dying on the roof of the building next to Holly's dead body, and the ruins of the broadcasting dish. With the signal now destroyed, people around L.A. and the rest of the country are surprised to discover aliens in their midst... seeing them on TV, chatting with them at the bar, meeting with them at the office... and even having sex with them. The explosion blows up the TV station antenna , the laser beam . The after effects , finally people WAKE UP to to REALITY !

notes and comments.

(1)>>They Live was released in 1988.More information can be revealed when putting into account the context in which the film was produced. During the time in which the film was produced, U.S. President Ronald Reagan established a series of economic policies popularly known as ‘Reaganomics’. As the U.S. was in a state of economic stagflation, President Reagan attempted to solve the issue with his ‘Reaganomics’: which called for widespread tax cuts, decreased social spending, increased military spending and the deregulation of domestic markets. Such policies favour the wealthy upper class and cause impoverishment in the lower classes. President Reagan received both praise and criticisms for his policies which temporarily resolved the problem of stagflation during his presidency. As can be speculated, he was praised by the wealthy and powerful upper class and criticized by mostly everyone else. Such is the historical context in which the film was produced. With this context, one can see that the film’s narrative is a criticism of Reaganomics.(1.2)>>Roddy Piper.  : They Live is a documentary!!” ......... I knew it! Hahaha! Piper, whose real name is Roderick George Toombs, joined World Wrestling Entertainment in 1984; before that he wrestled in the NWA.Piper was known for his on-air feud with Hulk Hogan, and the wrestling entertainment company said Piper began his career as "one of the most-hated villains ever to step between the ropes."Piper and "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff took on Hogan and Mr. T in the first-ever WrestleMania. WWE calls the bout "one of the marquee main events in its history."Piper was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005. He was also named one of the WWE’s “Top 50 Villains. (1.3)>>Keith David.  Keith David was born in Harlem. He began acting in plays at a young age, and his first credited appearance in a movie was as the character Childs in John Carpenter's The ThingIn addition to his voice work in video games and film appearances, Keith David has also been featured in interludes for the most recent Ice Cube and West side Connection albums. (2)>>seeing the skull faced aliens .  AND  you
The original Comic story that inspired
"They Live "
know that they are blue skull-faced aliens hiding among us and controlling Earth’s citizens by making them buy things $$$.(3)>>BUT GREED AND COOPERATE POWER is strong and real. Currently, the domination of big money over our public institutions prevents government from being responsive to Americans. This certainly is not a new phenomenon—but it is growing. In the first presidential contest after the Citizens United decision, 84 percent of Americans agreed that corporate political spending drowns out the voices of average Americans, and 83 percent believed that corporations and corporate CEOs have too much political power and influence. This aligns with more recent research showing that 84 percent of people think government is benefitting special interests, and 83 percent think government is benefitting big corporations and the wealthy. Moreover, the anti-democratic influence of money in politics doesn’t end on election day. The dominance of corporations and business interests exists not just in election spending but also in lobbying elected officials and decision-makers. (4)>>Ray Nelson’s short story Eight O’Clock in the Morning.   You can read “Eight O’Clock in the Morning” here. In 1986 there was a comic adaptation by Bill Wray in Alien Encounters, which Carpenter saw and drew from.  (5)>>  especially when one has “truth-seeing sunglasses”.   When one has “truth-seeing sunglasses”.  We heard the term "pulling the wool off the eyes" When Nada wants [Keith David ]  him to “wear the glasses” that will awaken him from alien domination which is dubbed "sleep" . Well for that much we are being hypnotized by our modern technology .  We have constant "devices" like cell phones , 4k, 5k , Alexia and Google smart tech . Would you no think that
"We have some one who can see US!!!"
this stuff has dangers , besides being spied on , they can manipulate us , control us , we would never know it . SLEEP 👽
(5.1)>>he is referred to as Nada.  As in Nelson's story, Piper's Nada is so named because he is meant to be a blank slate, an everyman; he is given very little backstory and is never referred to by name in the film even once. Only his last name appears in the credits, although Carpenter has since let slip that the character's first name is John — and that he indeed has an extensive backstory, even if the filmmaker himself doesn't know what it is. (5.2)>>The Truth. Oh, and also guns. He used a lot of guns. They Live was one of the violent movies of the Reagan era in line with the Rambo films.  Though this is a campy, satirical, and wildly entertaining classic of a B-movie, there's also quite a bit of violence, including an exaggerated fistfight between two of the lead characters.   I found some of the violence in the film a bit worrisome because of the fact that our media today is bombarding us with real subliminal messages , this film just might send the wrong message to those susceptible  to certain imagery as a trigger to create real violence . Guns are not an excuse .  (6)>>put into some way a trance by the media , we may never WAKE UP!. Mass media manipulation news media CNN , MSNBC , FOX , ABC , CBS , NBC . See [ https://www.strategic-culture.org/news/2019/02/27/lies-america-news-media-tell/ ] Propaganda is obvious, crude and naive, but it's also subliminal, underhand and insidious. Its paradoxical definition is more than just a semantic curiosity. It represents our inability to get to grips with how we are influenced, and by whom.(7)>>Set near Skid Row in Los Angeles, the film is entirely concerned with the lives of people at street level.  They Live is so close to reality in our modern world , it hits evey American . Over the years, Skid Row — like other homeless enclaves around the state —Considered Ground Zero of California’s homeless crisis, the streets of Skid Row are host to approximately 2,000 people on any given night, one of the highest concentrations of homeless in America. Bordered by Third and Seventh Streets to the north and south, and Alameda and Main to the east and west, the 54-block area has been a magnet for transients since the 1800s, in part because of its proximity to L.A.’s central train station. California’s steep rise in “modern homelessness” started in the 1980s, its foundation
formed by cuts in funding for mental health services in the decades before, coupled with economic pressures that led to
A Typical normal day in America , or

rising unemployment, high housing costs, dismantling of single-occupancy hotels and generally inconsistent delivery of services for the poor. But recently, things have gotten worse. As California’s economy rebounded from the Great Recession, the steep rise in housing costs made it a struggle for ordinary Californians to keep up.Today, one-quarter of the nation’s homeless population lives in California, about 134,000 people at last count. That’s a particularly huge number when you consider that the state is home to 12 percent of the total U.S. population. And given that California’s homeless population far outnumbers the services available to them, a higher percentage suffer from chronic mental illness and substance abuse than in other states. The number of people living on the streets and shelters of Los Angeles County surged 75 percent between 2011 and 2017. But a January 2018 count revealed that the number of homeless actually dropped 3 percent, to 53,195, driven by a decline in the number of homeless veterans, according to the Los Angeles Services Authority. L.A. officials are hoping this trend continues with a recent influx of country tax money. (8)>>the sunglasses allow the wearer to see through the propaganda of the world.    . These glasses let you see the world as it really is: the Earth has been invaded, and all of the "one percenters" and most of the cops are actually skinless space zombie free-enterprisers. The corporate media lies, everyone know that. If you get your "news" from corporate media (abc, nbc, cbs, cnn, WP, NYT) you are been fed propaganda (lies) not news.Today, propaganda posters have been replaced by digital visuals, such as the meme, that are easily produced, mass-disseminated and politically pointed, with the potential to do even greater damage to American politics and society than propaganda posters did a century ago.People have always believed what they wanted to, but the incalculable power of social media etc. now reinforce and insulate false beliefs to a heretofore unknown degree. That is dangerous for democracy, even moreso when weaponized and use against us by hostile foreign powers. The danger increases exponentially when those attacks are aided or actively ignored by our leaders.(9)>>They are our masters. We don;t know  "Wake up.”Nada soon discovers that many people around him are actually the same type of humanoids. Most
" Hay whats your problem !"
of them are wearing expensive clothing resembling wealthy-looking businessmen and women. When Nada enters a local grocery store and insults one of them, the elderly lady speaks through her wristwatch, muttering about his location and the face that he "can see." Nada runs out of the store and into an alley where two humanoid policemen suddenly arrive. The two "policemen" ask where Nada got the sunglasses and he refuses to answer them. Aware that they intend to kill him, Nada escapes, killing both policemen. He steals a police shotgun. While evading the police, he stumbles into a local bank filled with humanoids. Realizing that the jig is up, he proclaims, "I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass... and I'm all out of bubblegum." A shooting spree ensues as Nada opens fire, firing all the humanoids that he sees. After killing many of them, one of the humanoids sees him and disappears after twisting a dial on his wristwatch. Fleeing the bank and into a nearby parking garage, he forces a woman (Meg Foster) at gunpoint to take him to her house in the Hollywood Hills.
(10)>>Religion most likely is one of the ways that aka aliens keep people from seeing what is going on around them . A new conspiracy theory says, before religious texts like the Bible were written, alien lifeforms visited Earth and were seen as "gods" by the more primitive humans. In an article entitled "Aliens Are Coming Back To Retrieve 'Their' Religion," the website   ufointernationalproject.com tried to explain the theory. It claims either aliens created the religious texts for the benefit of mankind, or they were written by humans based on the "alien gods" who visited at that time.  As Carl Sagan has pointed out in (the now out-of-print book) The Cosmic Question, “space exploration leads directly to religious and philosophical questions”. We would need to consider whether our faiths could accommodate these new beings – or if it should shake our beliefs to the core. After all, when you have become God, you don’t want to see your world being destroyed. And that brings us to the crux of religion.  (10.1)>>“This is your God”.  THEY LIVE = Abbreviation for - The Hierarchy Enslaving You.   The word mammon comes from the Greek word mammonas. Similar root words exist in Hebrew, Latin, Aramaic, Chaldean and Syriac. They all translate to “money, wealth, and material possessions.” In biblical culture the word mammon often carried a negative connotation. It was sometimes used to describe all lusts and excesses: gluttony, greed, and dishonest worldly gain. Ultimately, mammon described an idol of materialism, which many trusted as a foundation for their world and philosophy. While the King James Version retains the term Mammon in Matthew 6:24, other versions translate the Greek as “money,” “wealth,” or “riches.”  All of us who are now living in the United States face a clarion call to pursue mammon. The purpose of our schools and colleges is to get us better jobs, meaning jobs that pay more money. The most popular web sites, blogs, and motivational speakers are those who teach people how to build wealth.  (11)>>Holly is yet another human collaborator with the aliens. Holly Thompson is a hidden villainess, she is played by Meg Foster. Foster worked throughout the 1970s, 80s and 90s. She guest-starred in numerous TV shows including two episodes of Hawaii Five-O (1973 and 1976), The Six Million Dollar Man season two episode "Straight on 'till Morning" (1974), Three for the Road (1975), and the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine season four episode "The Muse" (1996). Other TV shows include Bonanza, The Twilight Zone, Here Come the Brides, Storefront Lawyers, Barnaby Jones, Murder, She Wrote, Miami Vice, The Cosby Show, Quantum Leap, ER, and Xena: Warrior Princess. She was Hera in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys  .  (12)>>the aliens in the hovering helicopter "the finger".  Nada  giving the finger to the aliens  , being shot at ( Piper) you all most feel so sorry for the fictional person .   Bless that man. Piper was a walking example of how far you can get when you love what you do, and fight for what’s yours.   They Live alien symbolizes corrupt, inhuman ambition that steps on the little guy, resulting in dozens of images, posters, and t-shirts in which real-life celebrities and politicians (Donald Trump is a popular figure) appear as the film’s aliens
