Being wealthy is not a Crime in America . America has been outa touch with reality . The Rich have been in office for the last 100 years.
Mitt Romney for sure is no Donald John Trump, Sr whose Net worth: US$ 2.9 billion (2012) can't compare with Mr. Romney's Net worth: US$ 200 million (2012) . Mitt Romney's financial portfolio has included an offshore company that remained invisible to voters as his political star rose.Based in Bermuda, Sankaty High Yield Asset Investors Ltd. was not listed on any of Romney's state or federal financial reports. The company is among several Romney holdings that have not been fully disclosed, including one that recently posted a $1.9 million earning — suggesting he could be wealthier than the nearly $250 million estimated by his campaign. Is Mitt Romney too rich to be president? President Obama’s push on Monday to extend tax cuts for the middle class — but not for the rich — is being joined by a new, all-out effort from his allies to portray Mr. Romney as out of touch with average Americans. It seems to me that America is a country that is out of touch with a lot of things . Mr. Romney represents the cream at the top of a capitalistic cake that has far done better than the average joe . Saying that Mr. Romney is out of touch is far from that truth . We the average American citizen is out of touch with reality . We have elected the Rich in office for the last 100 years , and why complain now ? It seems again to me that the hijacking of America by the rich has slowly blinded 'us' with preconceived notions that Mr. Obama is the 'poor' black-man who got elected. That's a mere illusion . *** Mr. Obama is on the upscale too ( Obama's Net Worth : US$ 11.8 million 2012 ). Like going to the magic mirror and saying , " Mirror Mirror on the wall who is the richest of them all ......" . To say their all guilty of sin , there all filthy rich and hypocritical . Especially Mr. Obama. For going after Romney. Sure enough I do have a bone to pick when an American who is rich has his or her investments outside of the United States . Hidden as if hiding something . That's sure enough "un-American " not to invest your earnings in America ! No wonder our economy sucks! Our elected "rich" representatives of both Democrats and Republicans hide their wealth overseas . Meanwhile Americans suffer . The Data is "staggering" . The Federal Reserve said the median net worth of families plunged by 39 percent in just three years, from $126,400 in 2007 to $77,300 in 2010. That puts Americans roughly on par with where they were in 1992. Meanwhile Occupy Wall Street — took political theater to a new level Sunday outside the beachfront estate of billionaire David Koch, where the Republican candidate was raising money, for his run at a public office . A rich guy raising money , asking money from the less affluent .As you see the rich have been the ruling "class" always. Hollywood is dank with Hypocrisy, recently Jay Leno, who reportedly makes $32 million a year from his “Tonight Show” gig alone, and is reported to have a net worth of around $150 million, frequently incorporate Romney-related rich jokes into his late night program. “CNBC is reporting that America lost 129,000 millionaires last year. Mitt Romney calls them, ‘an endangered species ' Anyhow like the "Rich Man " Mr. Obama has been said to have said , and misquoted to have said . " It's time to spread the Wealth."
NOTES & COMMENTS:
*** Compared to the average American, Obama is very wealthy. Compared to the other presidential candidates in 2008, though, he was practically an indigent. His senator's salary was $165,200 (he'd earned just $60,000 as a state senator). His wife, Michelle, was the one bringing home the bacon — before she resigned in May 2007, she earned $317,000 a year as the vice-president for community affairs at the University of Chicago hospitals. Obama’s wealth derives from his books,Mitt Romney is by a long shot one of the wealthiest self-made men to ever run for president — John Kerry and John McCain's wealth were largely derived from their wives. Most estimates place his fortune anywhere between $190 million and $250 million, though former Massachusetts State Democrat Party chairman Phil Johnston told MSNBC it was likely closer to $500 million, and Romney’s close friend Hugh Hewitt guessed it could be as much as $1 billion. Don't forget that, as a Mormon, Romney would've paid a 10 percent tithe to the Church of Latter-Day Saints — so all that dough is after taxes and tithing. While the other Republican candidates are also millionaires, their wealth does not come close to that of Romney’s. Still, judging from the net worth of all presidential nominees, politicians need to be wealthy to run for high office.
