Politics of the Left & Right Brain.

POLITICS OF THE LEFT AND RIGHT BRAIN . HOW  THE MEDIA WANT YOU TO BELIEVE.

The left–right political spectrum is a system of classifying political positions, ideologies, and parties. Left-wing politics and right-wing politics are often presented as opposed, although a particular individual or group may take a left-wing stance on one matter and a right-wing stance on another. In France, where the terms originated, the Left has been called "the party of movement" and the Right "the party of order."----Right we have a
disorder .

These recent shootings involving Police officers , involving (1)>>"unarmed Black men"  -- bottom line above the (1.2)>>"thin blue line " are a curious problem that reflects that our American Republic is not sound in mind or in body . We are a divided nation based on what the mind "perceives" as interpreted by the Left and Right Media . Who do you believe ? Already the black men who where shot by the police officers are being demon -ized by the Right wing media .  The dirt digging , and damage control has already started .They  have to be made  as in a stereotypical fashion  look like armed robbers , gangsters . To justifiy the police actions agianst the unarm .  That's perception, on the right .  We can't be in denial that we have a violent society ,but the Right never rationalizes as to why there is a gang culture in African -American youth.  While people on the left of the politics are guilty by not showing any kind of sympathy for the 5 Dallas officers who were ambushed in a sort of revenge killing . Each side of the political road "sees what they are told by their political affiliation" , while the reasoning brain, the middle brain is just kicked down the alley. The  "victims" we all know is everyone . I am not trying to be unsympathetic to both sides   The Police Officers who were killed (Dallas)  and the term being used to describe them... as "victims." ,YES They were victims of the system that shot the two black men.The two black -African Americans are not as much spoken as "victims" by the  Right beleaguered system . A case of reverse bigotry ? The psychology here is turning into a word play for some politicians to size during this election year. Nobody, "left" or "right", is calling for real change. There is always talk . I make that statement based on a government level , the people in the nation had enough it seems .  We have had as a nation the same old dialog , it pretty much goes back to the 1960's  during the Civil Rights marches. Like the mass shootings . They're trotting out their same old speeches, and calling for their same old minute of silence, and then will happily pretend nothing's changed. Though extending prayers and condolences is a show of kindness, does this remove the massive wave of hatred that is happening on a regular basis, causing great loss of life? Another political problem is that like the Orlando shooter,  the Dallas Shooter had acquired weapons . (2)>>Here we jump into the issue of gun debate again , but nothing is done . The same old gun debate lurches right in the mix of race , police brutality . If there is anything the left fails to appreciate, and that politicians on the right exploit with unerring tact , so now we have a smear campaign to make the two black men killed by cops  as "criminals" to justify the use of force . Yet we can't shut our eyes that yes there exists serious problems in America's black communities that neither the left or right politicians have done anything to solve . Yet trying to rationalize these last few days is a problem .  I have begun to lose patience with "compassion," be it the conservative
version that sees poverty as a moral disease to be cured with a benevolent dose of 19th-century rectitude, or the liberal version that views poverty as an exotic culture to be scrutinized through the kindly lens of tolerance. Poverty is not a culture to be understood; it is a condition to be eradicated. If black on black crime is a sore thumb to this debate ,   It was incorrect during its creation in the 1980s, when many black pundits, preachers and politicians raced to coin it in every speech instead of putting relentless pressure on the nefarious trickle-down policies of the Reagan regime Black-on-Black Crime can no longer be used to redirect conversations about racism because it is the product of racism. A LOT of money being spent to correct the wrongs that have been done to communities by addressing the poor educational system, offering parenting classes, offering financial literacy workshops and also offering classes on what being a global citizen will mean as economies become more interconnected. Violent criminals do not need to be on the street, no matter how they were created. We are seeing the lunacy of the trigger nuts arguments, that unrestricted access to fire-arms reduces gun deaths. If we had any common sense, this person in Dallas would not have owned one gun, let alone an entire arsenal. (3)>>But we also know that police don’t shoot every single time they can shoot . We can investigate and determine, within reasonable margins of certainty, whether any given police shooting was legally appropriate ?.
LAST NOTE.
Personally the nation is still divided , snowballing over issues like gun control , mass shootings , police brutality . We must solve the basic problem of human violence - and solve it not through technology or totalitarian control, but through fearlessly assessing our evolutionary history and "human nature" and learning to practice non-violence. There are 100 questions that are not being answered at this time because "the investigation is ongoing" and other legalistic BS. "this is an indication of something much deeper in the society, and that's the racism that permeates the police departments across the country." Here the people on the Right sweep under the rug , the lack of a wake up call in our society over the last decades is serious to presume that our society is heading to a dystopian future. The way we have been going, it is only a matter of time before that scenario eventually unfolds  .
I would not be surprised that we'll soon be hearing this 'history'' and analogy present here being repeated again .
NOTES AND COMMENTS:

(1)>>"unarmed Black men"  A common retort to movements against police violence has been “Well, what about black-on-black crime?” — a phrase that originated in the 1980s and has been used to cite black people as the problem instead of poverty, poor educational opportunities, proximity and other factors that spike crime rates in all communities despite racial composition. But are police quicker on the trigger with African Americans than they are with white people in similar circumstances? Comprehensive reporting shows that police kill disproportionately more black people than white people — but the numbers aren’t out of line with the disproportionate rates at which blacks commit violent crime. (Black Americans commit homicide at close to eight times the rate of whites and Hispanics combined.) In other words, crime and law-enforcement actions do not break down neatly on demographic lines.(1.2)>>"thin blue line ". Through public schooling, we were indoctrinated to fear the drug culture as a breeding ground of gangland destruction and to worship law enforcement officials as the only barrier between us and a cocaine-frosted wasteland. We were led to believe that every day police were holding back a tide of crime and terrorism. The so-called “thin blue line” was an indispensable part of a safe and prosperous nation. In nearly all of these cases of overt police force, even when video evidence clearly indicates wrongdoing, LEOs are acquitted by the system. The reason for this should be obvious: The establishment must keep the warrior class happy, content, and untouchable; otherwise, the oligarchs lose power. No corrupt system is going to punish its own unless utterly necessary to its survival, because if it did, it would then have to admit that it is not entirely trustworthy, causing the people to question .  (2)>>Here we jump into the issue of gun debate again , but nothing is done . Beyond being yet more videos of senseless violence by police against African-Americans, what these two videos have in common is the police in question excuse their actions by citing the presence of a gun.In both cases, there seems to be no question that the shooting victims were armed. It’s a point that’s already being flogged by conservatives in an effort to excuse these officers. However, and conservatives should be the first to remember this, guns are legal in this country.  Louisiana is an open carry state. Minnesota allows concealed carry. Police officers in these states know full well that people have a legal right to carry. They have, according to conservatives themselves, no reason to believe that a man with a gun is a bad guy. Why, he could very well be one of those good guys with a gun, at the ready to stop crime, that we keep hearing about from conservatives. Here are two American citizens that were killed while doing what the NRA claims is a constitutional right. Surely this must be a gross injustice in the eyes of the NRA! Surely they will be demanding action, petitioning congressmen, demanding the Department of Justice to step forward and make sure that every American has a right to arm themselves without fear of being gunned down by the police! Right? There was nothing to remotely suggest a tazer was used in any article or video. It is never justified to shoot an individual when he is already down and restrained by two individuals. (3)>>But we also know that police don’t shoot every single time they can shoot — When they shoot they might use technology . While robotization of police tech may be new, blowing people up isn't. Remember the police bombing of the MOVE house in Philly that killed many innocents, including children, and burned down city blocks; and the Clinton/Reno WACO massacre in which military and police used all sorts of heavy weapons murdering entire families. It's not the technology, but the socio/economicpolitical climate that allows this shit that matters.

A Nation in disgrace .......

It's been a bad week, In just 48 hours, videos of two more black men fatally shot by cops have gone viral. Alton Sterling was shot multiple times by police in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Tuesday night. Philando Castile was shot by police (1)>>Wednesday during a traffic stop in Minnesota. discharged a gun into a car that also held a young child. His girlfriend, Diamond Reynolds, hit “record” and uploaded the footage for the world to witness. I've been giving my own commentary for the last few years on police shootings on my blog. And my OPINION how I feel about police officers . I UNDERSTAND that they do put their lives in danger, we can argue that till doom cracks . Those who believe there is an ingrained, irrational bias among police officers against African-Americans take this number as a sign that (1.2)>>cops get trigger-happy around blacks. What’s usually left out of the conversation over the disproportionate number of police shootings of African-Americans are the disproportionate number of crimes, particularly violent crime, committed by African-Americans.  It seems like there has been a never ending stream of reports of black people killed by police over the last few years.Endemic racism is of course one component, but there’s also a larger context: the juggernaut militarization of police forces around the country, and an unconscious change of mission. Too many cops see themselves as soldiers fighting enemies rather than protecting and defending us citizens. The violence that erupted in Dallas with the 5 officers killed during a Black Lives Matter protest shows how emaciated the nations police department really is . When it comes to using a weapon in case of being  in  real danger the police departments nation wide  act like cowards , when someone is unarmed however , or having some psychological issue , the police are quick to the draw .  They start shooting .  Makes no sense , a officer should use a weapon if they are being shot at . It's never the case as we have seen . It's now a nationwide pandemic of bad police officers . The last two shootings of black men that were video'd showing unrestrained officers using a weapon on unarmed civilians is contrary to the rights given to us in our American Constitution with notice of the 5th Amendment :

The Fifth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution provides, "No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation."

It's scary just to think . Yes , you have rights regardless of skin color . If you read above the 5th Amendment , the police actions jeopardize  the whole American constitution.  It COULD HAPPEN TO ANY OF US  , but if our law enforcement is like this , we are all in serious trouble. These two black men , what ever they supposedly  did to break the law , were killed with out any kind of (2)>>"due process" . This is one of the many problems with law enforcement today. They left officers get away with decisions like this using the same old 'he is only human and made a mistake' excuses. If a person is so jumpy during a routine traffic stop that he would respond like this then he does NOT need to be in law enforcement. But this is just ignored over and over and each and every act like this is ruled justified. This is establishes a mentality that it is okay to make mistakes like this because they are 'just part of the job'. This cop need to be sent to prison the same as any civilian would be in the same situation. What struck me was that if he was shot in the arm, did he bleed out? The cop was so panicked that neither he nor anyone else applied first aid... he probably would have shot anyone who tried. He screwed up, panicked, and then stood there in a further panic and let a person who was gravely injured die from their injuries. This is NOT how a "first responder" should act. If they are only about control they cannot be trusted during any emergency situation... letting someone bleed out who is not attacking them is a good indication they cannot be trusted in an emergency. It seems to me that most of these deaths could have been avoided. Surely non-lethal force is enough to subdue a lone man with a knife or club, especially when multiple officers are on scene. and we should be careful about second guessing the actions of a police officer who felt his life was in danger. But far too often, introducing firearms into volatile situations precipitates the very violence that police are supposed to prevent.

How does this compare to other countries?

Let’s see how it measures up to other developed countries. Police shootings .
Total fatal police shootings/law enforcement homicides per year
United States              930
Canada                        25
Germany                       8
Australia                        5
United Kingdom              2
Japan                             0

To do a fairer comparison, we should consider fatal shootings relative to population.
Fatal police shootings/law enforcement homicides per million people
United States                2.9
Alberta                         1.4
Canada                         0.7
Ontario                         0.6
Nfld & Lab                     0.3
Australia                       0.2
Germany                       0.1
United Kingdom             0.04
Japan                            0.0

Part of this disparity is due to different levels of violence that police are faced with. If we consider homicide rates, we get a similar rank ordering.
Number of homicides per 100,000 people per year
United States                4.7
Alberta                         2.3
Canada                         1.6
Ontario                         1.3
United Kingdom             1.0
Australia                       0.9
Germany                       0.8
Nfld & Lab                     0.7
Japan                            0.3

NOTES AND COMMENTARY :

(1)>>Wednesday during a traffic stop in Minnesota. St. Anthony cop sounds in the video footage as if he's having some psychological meltdown , or signs of anger management issues . Looking this video . You might say it's the smoking gun . There something going here , you have to look at the video , its disturbing. “Fuck!” the cop shouted while continuing to point his gun inside the car.Although the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has launched an investigation into the recent shooting, over 100 people gathered at the crime scene last night demanding to know why Castile was shot to death over a broken tail light. Castile would have turned 33 on Friday. One striking thing about this video is how calm the woman is while the cop is in panic mode. Clearly he is unaccustomed to police violence while she is. She probably also knew that if she didn't maintain calm she had a solid chance of being the second officer-involved shooting in that town in 30 years. And I'm sure shortly someone will be along to tell us that even his fully complying wasn't enough. Also explain why a cop had a gun drawn at a routine traffic stop when asking for ID.  (1.2)>>cops get trigger-happy around blacks. But the fact is that white people are six times as likely to be killed by other whites as by blacks. In 2013, according to the FBI, white people killed 2509 other whites while blacks killed 409 whites. A Bureau of Justice Statistics study of homicides from 1980 to 2008 reveals virtually the same ratio of six white on white killings to one black on white killing over nearly 30 years. So again the question arises, why do whites have such an irrational fear of blacks? In recent months, white fear of blacks has been exacerbated by dishonest pundits and politicians and equally dishonest police .  (2)>>"due process" .The guarantee of due process for all citizens requires the government to respect all rights, guarantees, and protections afforded by the U.S. Constitution and all applicable statutes before the government can deprive a person of life, liberty, or property. Due process essentially guarantees that a party will receive a fundamentally fair, orderly, and just judicial proceeding. While the Fifth Amendment only applies to the federal government, the identical text in the Fourteenth Amendment explicitly applies this due process requirement to the states as well.Courts have come to recognize that two aspects of due process exist: procedural due process and substantive due process. Procedural due process aims to ensure fundamental fairness by guaranteeing a party the right to be heard, ensuring that the parties receive proper notification throughout the litigation, and ensures that the adjudicating court has the appropriate jurisdiction to render a judgment. Meanwhile, substantive due process has developed during the 20th century as protecting those right so fundamental as to be "implicit in the concept of ordered liberty."

The Clinton emails . So what now?

In Hillary Clinton’s  memoir, Hard Choices, about her time as secretary of state, she settles the Benghazi issue once and for all, assuring it will not come up again or haunt her in 2016. (1)>>Ha-ha, yeah, right It crept up again . While the  FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server while secretary of state has concluded with a recommendation that she not face criminal charges.  — The GOP just wont quit .  The GOP now is investigating the FBI . The government bureaucracy is  laughable . By finding no grounds for bringing criminal charges against Hillary Clinton over her private use of email, the FBI investigation has shattered the Republican Party’s email conspiracy theory. More committees , more witch haunts .Republicans in Congress are promising the headlines over Hillary Clinton's email server won't go away anytime soon.  "There are a lot of questions that have to beanswered. And so we're going to be asking those questions," House Speaker Paul Ryan told reporters, adding that it looked like Clinton had gotten preferential treatment. "We have seen nothing but stonewalling and dishonesty from Secretary Clinton on this issue, and that means there are a lot more questions that need to be answered."Ryan said Clinton should be barred from receiving classified briefings in the course of the campaign. He said he would be looking into whether Congress could take action to enact such a prohibition. And asked whether a special prosecutor should be appointed in the case, Ryan said he wouldn't "foreclose any option." Just more political nonsense from the GOP. Were they this appalled when Colin Powell used his own email acct for gov business when he was in the Bush administration? Don't recall any outcry over that. Anyone think that this is just politics? If GOP' ers in Congress worked as hard for the American people on legislation (that they are being PAID to do) opposed to "political investigations and other nonsense", maybe the American people would have a better opinion of them and maybe our country would be in better shape. Government waste of money .Well, maybe the House Republicans can have hearing and waste hundreds of millions of dollars just like they did with Benghazi , This is the standard way for Republicans and yet they cannot pass a single bill to take guns from terrorist .Even if we suppose that The Director of FBI was not pressured by Obama. Even if we believe that the meeting of Bill Clinton and Attorney General was a normal chat about grandchildren. Isn't the phrase of " Extreme Careless.." (2)>>GOING DEEPER. So the republicans are going to milk this as long as they can? Are they now going to question everything that the FBI does? Is this a pattern that if they don’t like a legal outcome they’re going to haul these people in front of congress,.  Hillary Clinton may avoid criminal charges, but the searing rebuke of her “extremely careless” email practices. But Hillary Clinton and her Democratic allies breathed a sigh of relief after Comey all but erased the possibility that she might be indicted, but is likely to reverberate through the November election and, if she wins, well into her presidency.

Wikileaks : Hillary emails .
Regardless of the projected outcome, the controversy remains lodged in the public consciousness, and WikiLeaks celebrated Independence Day by publishing 1,258 of Clinton’s emails. This data was released by the State Department in February (through a Freedom of Information request), and WikiLeaks gathered up all emails tied to the Iraq War in one tidy dump. The development comes after WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange said last month the website had gathered “enough evidence” for the FBI to indict Clinton. Even though he is doubtful that such an indictment is forthcoming. This first document dump from Clinton's private server is just one of many promised by Assange whose access to these emails will make him a major player in the election. While the FBI ultimately decided to give Clinton a pass, or as one GOP Congressman put it, a "get out of jail free" card

NOTES AND COMMENTS:
(1)>>Ha-ha, yeah, right It crept up again . she’s tried that a few times before. It's in the FBI report...it's there for everyone to read. Here's part of the statement from Comey:"From the group of 30,000 e-mails returned to the State Department, 110 e-mails in 52 e-mail chains have been determined by the owning agency to contain classified information at the time they were sent or received. Eight of those chains contained information that was Top Secret at the time they were sent; 36 chains contained Secret information at the time; and eight contained Confidential information, which is the lowest level of classification. Separate from those, about 2,000 additional e-mails were “up-classified” to make them Confidential; the information in those had not been classified at the time the e-mails were sent.None of these e-mails should have been on any kind of unclassified system, but their presence is especially concerning because all of these e-mails were housed on unclassified personal servers not even supported by full-time security staff, like those found at Departments and Agencies of the U.S. Government—or even with a commercial service like Gmail.Separately, it is important to say something about the marking of classified information. Only a very small number of the e-mails containing classified information bore markings indicating the presence of classified information. But even if information is not marked “classified” in an e-mail, participants who know or should know that the subject matter is classified are still obligated to protect it."Politifact said the FBI "clearly undercuts Clinton's defence". The Washington Pos tupgraded its verdict on the veracity of Mrs Clinton's classified information claims from two to four "Pinocchios". The Associated Press wrote that the FBI "left much of her account in tatters and may have aggravated questions of trust swirling around her Democratic presidential candidacy".(2)>>GOING DEEPER.enough to disqualifying a person as Hillary who actually (if any ) has been involved in criminal acts in the Whitewater, Vince Foster case and has been careless when her husband was engaged in sexual activities with Jennifer Flowers, Monica Lewinsky and many more when he was the governor of Arkansas and president? Is such person with lifelong carelessness worthy for presidency?

An Anonymous question ?

While standing for
Social Justice ,
Anonymous is really an
anarchist recipe for
trouble.
We live in a world that at times crosses the line into dangerous fiction . Case in point the  (1)>>Hacktivist collective (2)>>Anonymous targets all sorts of people and organizations.Since its inception in 2003 as an online anarchist collective, Anonymous has been grabbing headlines with their cyber attacks on government, corporate and various other targets. But who are they? High Times speaks to the greatest hacktivists of our generation. People talk about Anonymous as though it were some kind of organized faction, when it’s more like a room full of cats, equally defiant in their refusal to be led or leashed. Ideas rise or fall on their ability to garner supporters. Though Anonymous lacks a coherent structure, there is a consistent philosophical undercurrent. Past and on-going operations have focused on Islamic State, white supremacists, the Church of Scientology, Ku Klux Klan, and Donald Trump.Yes, they're just horrible. Hacking random sites, hacking into bank/game accounts (Lulzec offshoot). They don't stand for anything but causing trouble, anarchy with none of its sincere political significance, and youthful idiocy, whilst hiding behind a cheap, creepy mask made popular by the very industries (Hollywood is dominated by corporations for one) they claim to despise.Whatever your view on Anonymous, the group certainly likes to pick fights with high profile foes. The latest organization to have the Anonymous spotlight shone on its affairs is the Federal Bureau of Investigation. That's because I don't support either of them, and there are parallels between the two. (3)>>Anarchy to most people these days, isn't the anarchism of the past. The arch-typical anarchist movement today, ''Anonymous'', does not ring very convincingly of a movement that aims for the construction of a free society, without classes or States or frontiers, founded on anarchist federalism and mutual aid. There are many contradictions within Anonymous,  it’s the polarity span that keeps them divided, Anonymous can be looked at as a positive or a negative, but my research returns some very dangerous results. history has proven that in times of Chaos and dissent, governments use the opportunity to bring in yet more rules and regulations.
A Curious origin .Julian Assange.
The world most wanted man
Julian Assange .
Lots of people see (4)>>Julian Assange as a heroic figure, who has defended the freedom of the press and our right to know the truth at great personal cost. In 2010, Time magazine readers voted him Person of the Year. In his home country of Australia, Assange was awarded the Sydney Peace Foundation Gold Medal for Peace with Justice. Wiki-leaks pretty much was one of the best counter intelligence "expose" of government corruption , digging the dirt on the Iraq invasion . It was vary much aimed at America during the second Bush era . WikiLeaks, created by Julian Assange, has frequently taken a hostile attitude towards America’s anti-terrorism policy. It published Bradley Manning’s documents relating to the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, and played a major role in Edward Snowden’s flight to Russia with files taken from the NSA. WikiLeaks may be, as its website says, “an uncensorable system for untraceable mass document leaking”, but US government agencies are hell-bent on censoring its findings. The Library of Congress blocks internet access to WikiLeaks; the National Archives even blocks searches of its own database using the search term “WikiLeaks”. In 2012, the Pentagon imposed an automatic filter to block emails containing the word “WikiLeaks”.Hacktivists portray themselves as Robin Hoods and freedom fighters, but you never know what you are going to get when you reach out to a group of outlaws for help. The fact that some hactivists proclaim to abide by a code of conduct that requires them to protect the poor and disenfranchised masses from exploitation and oppression while the government stands by and does nothing only makes us want to root for the outlaws. But is the devil we know worse than the one we don’t? Anonymous ideology is an incoherent mythology built up on the idea of ‘unlimited online freedom’ (and freedom to offend and coerce if one can not freedom in the anarchist sense) and meme culture and it’s entire existence is to troll. It operates in the same fashion as an anarchist network but it cares not for combatting racism, sexism or capitalism but authority of any kind . Anonymous has long been one of WikiLeaks's most loyal and vocal allies. Supporters bearing Anonymous posters regularly turned out at Assange's public announcements, and members of the group have waged an online campaign against critics of the whistleblowers' site. In the statement, Anonymous told its 285,000 followers that WikiLeaks was an "awesome idea ruined by egos" and claimed the site had abandoned the ideals of freedom of expression. The group added: "We have been worried about the direction WikiLeaks is going for a while. In the recent month the focus moved away from actual leaks and the fight for freedom of information further and further while it concentrated more and more on Julian Assange. It goes without saying that we oppose any plans of extraditing Julian to the USA. He is a content provider and publisher, not a criminal."
The Real Man behind the Mask :  Guy Fawkes.  Guy Fawkes, Britain's most notorious traitor.Guy Fawkes ( 13 April 1570 – 31 January 1606), also known as Guido Fawkes, Fawkes became synonymous with the (4.1)>>Gunpowder Plot, the failure of which has been commemorated in Britain since 5 November 1605. His effigy is traditionally burned on a bonfire, commonly accompanied by afireworks display. After Queen Elizabeth I died in 1603, English Catholics who had been persecuted under her rule had hoped that her successor, James I, would be more tolerant of their religion. James I had, after all, had a Catholic mother. Unfortunately, James did not turn out to be more tolerant than Elizabeth and a
number of young men, 13 to be exact, decided that violent action was the answer.A small group took shape,
The "real" England's anti-hero .
Sir Guy Fawkes . Who
tried to blow up Parliament on
the 5th of November .
under the leadership of Robert Catesby. Catesby felt that violent action was warranted. Indeed, the thing to do was to blow up the Houses of Parliament. In doing so, they would kill the King, maybe even the Prince of Wales, and the Members of Parliament who were making life difficult for the Catholics. Today these conspirators would be known as extremists, or terrorists.
His expertise with gunpowder gave him a key - and very perilous - role in the conspiracy, to source and ignite the explosive. But 18 months of careful planning was foiled with just hours to go, when he was arrested at midnight on 4 November 1605 beneath the House of Lords. Thirty-six barrels of gunpowder were found stacked in the cellar directly below where the king would have been sitting for the opening of parliament the next day.The foiling of the plot had been expertly engineered by James I's spymaster, Robert Cecil. Fawkes was subjected to various tortures, including the rack. Torture was technically illegal, and James I was personally required to give a licence for Fawkes to endure its ravages. While just the threat of torture was enough to break the resolve of many, Fawkes withstood two days of the most terrible pain before he confessed all. Famously, his signature on his confession was that of a shattered and broken man, the ill-formed letters telling the story of a someone who was barely able to hold a quill. His fortitude throughout had impressed James I, who said he admired Fawkes' "Roman resolution".Fawkes was sentenced to the traditional traitors' death - to be 'hanged, drawn and quartered'. In the event, he jumped from the gallows, breaking his own neck and thereby avoiding the horror of being cut down while still alive, having his testicles cut off and his stomach opened and his guts spilled before his eyes. His lifeless body was hacked into quarters and his remains sent to "the four corners of the kingdom" as a warning to others. So the question remains: in the 21st century, what should we make of Guy Fawkes and the festival that annually re-condemns him to the flames (although in reality he was hanged, drawn, and quartered)? With the idea of Guy Fawkes, Moore was able to crystallize his vision of who V was and helped give Moore further inspiration towards the themes of rebellion and revolution that exists in the novel. These days, the idea of basing the "hero" of a story on a terrorist is one that could give many people pause.
V for Vendetta , Guy Fawkes "reborn"?.
First introduced to audiences in the comic magazineWarrior (penned by writer (5)>>Alan Moore with art by David Lloyd), published as the graphic novel under the title V for Vendetta in 1988, and then reintroduced to a wider audience in 2006 with the film adaptation, his visage has become the embodied ethos of the disenfranchised on a global scale, and declared "the face of the post-modern protest." Originally a graphic novel by Alan Moore, V for Vendetta is set in a dystopian England where a revolutionary wearing a Guy Fawkes mask sets out to destroy a fascist party called Norsefire by convincing citizens to stand up and rule themselves. Because of fear, Americans — like the English citizens in V — are trading our precious liberty in for a false sense of security. Sept. 11 happened, and it was horrible, but instead of reacting with resolve, we reacted with fear. We passed the so-called "Patriot" Act, which implied that anyone who disagreed with this utter trampling of the Bill of Rights was a traitor, or worse. We held people in prison without respecting habeas corpus. And so on. Yet, in our rabid fear, in our race to the paternalistic government, in our herd impulse to trade in our most central rights for false security, we forgot one incredibly important fact: Liberty is much easier lost than recovered. The main protagonist is a cloaked anarchist who wears a grinning, moustachioed Guy Fawkes mask while battling against a fascist authoritarian state. The authors wanted to celebrate Fawkes by turning him into an anti-hero for the modern age. The comic was made into a film in 2006, and although it deviated from the original in a number of ways the mask of "V" was a faithful rendition of the stylised image from the book. Plastic masks to commemorate the release of the film were distributed to fans and could be bought online. Since then the image has been adopted by the Occupy movement, and Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks, has also donned a
Fawkes mask. It has become a regular feature of many protests. Mr Lloyd has called the mask a "convenient placard to use in protest against tyranny…it seems quite unique, an icon of popular culture being used this way". Although official masks from the film are still available online, most protesters prefer to print or paint their own. Alan Moore depicts these questions in this scary graphic novel that is set in some crazy right winged London that reeks of fascism and corruption. It’s a dark and an eerily real place; it is a place that might have been in an alternate history. Just like in Watchmen Moore shows us an alternative past that is stark and weirdly possible. The people struggle under an oppressive regime; they have no voice; they have no liberty or identity: they are in a monumental prison of both body and mind. And, worse yet, because of the mass propaganda campaigns, intimidating armed troop patrols, and lack of freedom in general, the people are not fully aware of their own oppressive plight. They’re ignorant and led along by the voice of power and authority. If I were to try and pin V for Vendetta down to just one vital moral message it would be one about control. Clearly, the government has almost full control over its people, as they are monitored and live in constant fear. When it was first released, critics decided that V for Vendetta was a good movie, but it wasn’t considered great.  Since then, it has gained in popularity, become a symbol for protestors, infiltrated English classes, and influenced people everywhere. They have no free will. V for Vendetta is a badly written, even more poorly conceived pamphlet espousing anarchism as the ideal political system featuring non-characters in a moronic dystopian future world with a storyline of the most convoluted revenge.
The Wannabe Anonymous Imposter's .
For the ridiculous .
The latest incarnation
of Guy Fawkes , a would be
"advanced human being"
There are other examples of people claiming the banner of "Anonymous" to do things other people under that banner might not agree with. The great irony is that for people who often claim to be liberating us from the mass media, as a coherent group Anonymous is largely a creation of the mass media, see how on that pro-life hack abortion story the individual is described an an "Anonymous supporter" not straightforwardly as an "Anonymous member".The mass media is what creates the image of Anonymous as a fully coherent group with a set of policies. Look at the news stories: every time an act is committed by someone claiming the "Anonymous" banner which seems to go against the conventional image of Anonymous, media outlets will dutifully qualify it "individuals claiming to be members of Anonymous did..." whereas if the act does fit the conventional image, they simply state "members of Anonymous did...". The media obviously isn't doing this out of empathy with Anonymous of course, it just makes a more entertaining and understandable story for Anonymous to be one big group. Enter In a white leather, white-haired space alien suit the Guy Fawkes clad leader peppers us with a biblical and constitutional mix of propaganda in support of his presidential campaign.  Also encrusted with a Masonic symbol While claiming to be the only authentic “Voice of Anonymous,” sources show the Humanity Party domain was registered by (6)>>Chrisopher Nemelka.  Nemelka is a pretty "strange" character with a long histrory of trying to found something, I guess he got first into the religion business saying that he is a reincarnation of Joseph Smith's brother Hyrum Smith. Nemelka alleges that he had a profound religious conversion in jail, now wants to become rebaptized LDS. He convinces his family that he will never lie again after Aug. 1, 2001, conveniently just a week after he was publicly out for his cruelty and deceptions to Sister Marie. This public showcase of repentance and bogus claims that he wanted to be rebaptised LDS, won him more cash and support from his LDS family Several years ago he convinced a great number of Mormons that he had translated additional scripture in relation to the Book of Mormon : The Sealed Portion . None of the news media reporting on the so-called Humanity Party has connected it with Nemelka, with some even speculating it may be related to Donald Trump, although even the most shallow research shows Nemelka as the chief ideologue, motivator, and benefactor of the campaign. In understanding what he is attempting to do as well as what this may mean for Anonymous, it is worth investigating Nemelka’s recent ideological frame, a book called Human Reality. It appears to be a profitable change of costume for Nemelka’s previous hedonist-Mormon teachings. The majority of Nemelka’s four hour keynote at the Humanity Party debut was concerned with this book and its notions, while the Voice of Anonymous character made a relatively brief appearance. The campaign is likely a ploy to sell this book and gain more influence, but it is also likely he is selling something more shocking and illicit. After the debut of the Humanity Party, In the video, VOA emphatically attacks the hacktivist movement of the past, "We have witnessed no results, or a single social change, of any kind, from the threats and disruption of law and order by [the hactivists].VOA states that, "IF any 'hacktivist' activities were to produce ANY social change for justice and equality, we would back this type of movement. But having failed all of those who have worn the Anonymous mask in the past, who wear it today, and who will wear [it] in the future, we have instituted the Humanity Party as a viable solution for...real change." Looking at a skeptical eye here , The group says that it was formerly a ‘loosely associated international network’ with no definitive philosophy or purpose until now. THumP wishes to establish a ‘one world government’ with a new constitution which guarantees and provides worldwide basic human rights. For me I would sound the alarm . Anyone that wants a 'one world government' seems to me to be falling inline with the secret societies , Illuminati enthusiasts . The credibility of the Humanity Party falls into question exactly what are it's real motives verses bringing true social justice to people.‘These inalienable human rights include the Five Basic Necessities of Life: free healthy food and water, secure and safe housing, basic clothing, health and mental care, and education,’ it says. The group further plans to introduce a plan to ‘unify capitalistic and socialistic agendas and ideologies to provide the FBNL free of charge.’ Here is where ideologies clash , here we get nothing but anarchy in the realm ......
  • If you reason instead of repeating what is taught you; if you analyze the law and strip off those cloudy fictions with which it has been draped in order to conceal its real origin, which is the right of the stronger, and its substance, which has ever been the consecration of all the tyrannies handed down to mankind through its long and bloody history; when you have comprehended this, your contempt for the law will be profound indeed. You will understand that to remain the servant of the written law is to place yourself every day in opposition to the law of conscience, and to make a bargain on the wrong side; and, since this struggle cannot go on forever, you will either silence your conscience and become a scoundrel, or you will break with tradition, and you will work with us for the utter destruction of all this injustice, economic, social and political.-----Prince  Peter Alexeievich Kropotkin (Пётр Алексе́евич Кропо́ткин) (9 December 1842 – 8 February 1921) An Appeal to the Young (1880).

NOTES AND COMMENTS:
(1)>>Hacktivist . The term was coined in 1994 by a Cult of the Dead Cow (cDc) member known as "Omega" in an e-mail to the group. Due to the variety of meanings of its root words, hacktivism is sometimes ambiguous and there exists significant disagreement over the kinds of activities and purposes it encompasses. Some definitions include acts of cyberterrorism while others simply reaffirm the use of technological hacking to affect social change.Depending on who is using the term, hacktivism can be a politically motivated technology hack, a constructive form of anarchic civil disobedience, or an undefined anti-systemic gesture. It can signal anticapitalist or political protest; it can denote anti-spam activists, security experts, or open source advocates. (2)>>Anonymous.Anonymous originated in 2003 on the imageboard 4chan, representing the concept of many online and offline community users simultaneously existing as an anarchic, digitized global brain. Anonymous members (known as "Anons") can be distinguished in public by the wearing of Guy Fawkes masks in the style portrayed in the graphic novel and film, V for Vendetta.Anonymous has no strictly defined philosophy, and internal dissent is a regular feature of the group. A website associated with the group describes it as "an Internet gathering" with "a very loose and decentralized command structure that operates on ideas rather than directives"  Anonymous gained national attention in 2008, when the group hacked the Church of Scientology Web site with a distributed denial-of-service attack, in which multiple computers bombard the victim's server with requests in order to overwhelm and shut it down.Although many supporters have praised Anonymous, members of the hacking collective have faced prosecution for their actions. FBI arrests have led to charges of cyber-stalking, computer hacking and fraud. People associating themselves with Anonymous run the gamut. Members include women, men, Democrats, Republicans, the young, the old, and people of different races and nationalities. (3)>>Anarchy.  is the condition of a society, entity, group of people, or a single person that rejects illegitimate hierarchies.Anarchism is a political philosophy that advocates self-governed societies based on voluntary institutions. These are often described as stateless societies, although several authors have defined them more specifically as institutions based on non-hierarchical free associations. It originally meant leaderlessness, but in 1840, Pierre-Joseph Proudhon adopted the term in his treatise What Is Property? to refer to a new political philosophy, anarchism, which advocates stateless societies based on voluntary associations. In practical terms, anarchy can refer to the curtailment or abolition of government. Philosophical anarchists may accept the existence of a minimal state as an unfortunate, and usually temporary, "necessary evil" but argue that citizens do not have a moral obligation to obey the state when its laws conflict with individual autonomy.Because Anonymous has no leadership, no action can be attributed to the membership as a whole , Anonymous is best considered a anarchist group .(4)>>Julian Assange . I believe that Assange is a real hero taking risks and publishing top secret documents , we need more  of Assange types . With out Wiki-leaks as a American I never would have known about abuses conducted in Iraq . Julian Assange is a wonderful activist for freedom of the press and freedom of speech, but he is not risking his life for others as an individual. He is an opinionated and strong-willed individual and has broken barriers that previous journalists have constructed. He could be considered a hero in the investigative journalism world, but not a hero in the general sense of the word. (4.1)>>Gunpowder Plot. I never understood the use of a Guy Fawkes mask. Guy Fawkes was a Catholic convert trying to restore a Catholic to the throne in England, not an anarchist. Was it simply because the Gunpowder Plot was formed to blow up the House of Lords (in order to assassinate King James I)? True or not though, I Think Guy Fawkes and the Gunpowder plot have become associated with Anarchism in most peoples minds today.  (5)>>Alan Moore.  had read the screenplay and considered it “rubbish.” Moore believed DC Comics and the film industry had knowingly stolen from him. Conversely, David Lloyd praised the movie moments after he had seen it for the first time, declaring it a “fantastic representation” of the work they did, according to McTeigue. (6)>>Chrisopher Nemelka. That's where he is now. He keeps shifting his philosophy in an attempt to get more attention.Last year he was the reincarnated brother of the Mormon prophet Joseph Smith. He claimed to leave his body to go outside of our solar system to speak with God.He's taken peoples money, broken up marriages, and convinced a nice older woman to will him the last family burial plot in a mormon grave yard because he convinced her he was her reincarnated great great great great uncle. He doesn't actually believe anything he says. Honestly I purchased over the years the rest of Nemelka's books , and listened to his Marvelous Work and Wonder weekly program . First though for me is that here is a vary intelligent man , I can't believe he has to hide behind a mask now that is associated with anarchists . His recently posted video outlines his Humanity Party is not associated with the Anonymous movement ( see here : https://youtu.be/4jRuEkK61Dg )  against advocating violence.  According to Nemelka, advanced humans exist in a layer of reality that is infinite and perfect, the advanced world. Our advanced selves enter a lower, finite world as a mortal avatar, which is necessary for the advanced human to play the game. Also referred to as the game of life, this is the everyday reality that human beings are aware of. When the advanced human plays the game there are certain conditions, such as forgetfulness of the advanced world. Nemelka calls himself the messenger, and his purpose in preaching is to reawaken people to their advanced selves and to tell them the goal of playing the game, which is to “take that hit of heroin.” Even the pleasure of sex is, to an advanced human, experienced as a hit of heroin. As Nemelka says, “This is the most incredible revealing thing you’ll ever hear. The advanced human brain, every time its mortal avatar has an orgasm, it senses that orgasm like a hit of heroin. Exactly like it.”I think the main reason I warmed to Nemelka was his openess. He was the first prophet to invite me in. And that may be his fatal flaw. Exposure ruins a prophet's magic. It becomes harder to ascribe a mythic life to him, a lesson that more successful.
