The "Secret" impeachment inquiry.

Can the Democrat's Dream be Coming
TRUE !?
😏
In the three and a half weeks since  (1)>>Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced a formal impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump, House investigators have broken through the administration’s stonewalling of Congress and heard dozens of hours of testimony from key witnesses. The public, however, has seen virtually none of it—and that dynamic could ultimately threaten the Democrats’ bid to get public opinion firmly on their side. There has never before, in the entire history of this country, been closed hearings on impeachment. It is secret from the public and their elected representatives are not allowed to participate. BUT TRUMP'S Impeachment looks like a farce that took three years the day he entered the  The White House . The calls for Trump's impeachment has grown exponentially among Democrats this calendar year, from freshmen representatives like (1.2)>>Rashida Tlaib who spat out [ Impeach the M ... F ,  to veteran lawmakers like Maxine Waters, Al Green and the late Elijah Cummings. They were out to get Trump . (2)>>Impeachment of an elected president, especially when he’s up for re-election in just over a year, is a serious step. If the American people — and Republican members of Congress — are going to have any chance of backing this inquiry’s final recommendations, it needs to be conducted in an open and transparent way that respects established legal principles, such as the right to face one’s accusers and to cross-examine witnesses.  However there is something going on that is not so transparent in regards to impeaching Trump . The Republicans chanted "let us in" as they forced their way into the hearing, breaching US House security rules. About two dozen Republicans pushed their way into the secure meeting room - known as a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility, or  (2.1)>>SCIF, on Wednesday morning. Some brought their mobile phones in with them, leading Democrats and some officials to accuse them of a security breach.SCIFs are built to prevent electronic eavesdropping, and allow people to review classified information. Electronic devices are not permitted.Democrats and Republicans began shouting at each other, reports say, and the Republican protesters refused to leave the room for a number of hours, even ordering pizza at lunchtime. A Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee defended holding the impeachment inquiry proceedings in secret and withholding transcripts by saying witnesses were giving depositions and not testifying in hearings. Republicans have cried foul because witness transcripts from closed-door House impeachment proceedings have yet to be released but House Intelligence Committee

(3)>>Chairman Adam Schiff has demanded the White House release documents related to the president’s July 25 phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Republicans claim they have not been able to access relevant documents and testimony from the impeachment hearings, but Democrats disagree and say Republicans have not shown up for the depositions. Democrats held two straight Intelligence Committee hearings on (3)>>Trump-Ukraine in secretreports the Washington Examiner’s Byron York. Two more scheduled for this week will be closed, too. Yet “there could not be a matter in which the American people have a greater stake” than the impeachment of a president, and neither hearing has apparently involved “highly classified matters.” Chairman Adam Schiff insists he is only complying with a law protecting whistleblowers from exposure, but the statute in question allows for disclosure in the course of an investigation. Bottom line: Democrats can’t forever keep “vital information away from the American people” in the name of preserving the whistleblower’s anonymity. “The impeachment proceedings should be opened up — now.The fight over whether Trump should be removed from office is  distorting everything it touches. Opinion polls suggest that, currently, Americans are about evenly divided on the question of impeachment, a complication for Democrats. (4)>>The president MIGHT be impeached but not REMOVED. The Underling lesson , Not every impeachment brings about a political settlement, good or bad. The failed impeachment of Bill Clinton, in 1999, for lying about his sexual relationship with Monica Lewinsky, settled less than nothing, except that it weakened Americans’ faith in impeachment.

NOTES AND COMMENTS:

(1)>>Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced a formal impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump. And that is exactly what Democrats and their allies in the media have done since Nov. 9, 2016. Accepting the fact they all got it so wrong would require painful self-reflection. It is much easier to divert, disparage, and discredit. Otherwise the American people would not learn their lesson. Millions of “deplorables” could get the wrong idea that the swamp is supposed to work for them. When Ms. Pelosi says the “facts changed the situation,” she is really saying that now the Democrats have finally settled on an excuse to satisfy their mission. Russia was so 2016, 2017, 2018, and, well, 2019 (up until about July 24). Now it would be Ukraine! But let us not delude ourselves that Democrats are interested in the facts. If Ms. Pelosi were, she would not have come out in favor of impeachment without having seen a shred of evidence — the transcript of the phone call with Ukraine, or even the so-called whistleblower’s complaint, who, with the help of Democrat attorneys, came up with accusations based on no firsthand knowledge but anonymous gossip. If Democrats were concerned with facts, Democrats simply CAN'T handle that President Trump is the freely, fairly, legally, democratically and CONSTITUTIONALLY elected President Of The United States.. (1.2)>>Rashida Tlaib who spat out [ Impeach the M ... F ] . President Trump had to know this was coming. Hours after Democrats took control of the House in January, freshman Rep. Rashida Tlaib told a room full of progressives exactly what the new majority intended to do. “We’re gonna go in there and we’re gonna impeach ......"  Remember that Tlaib with many of her "Squad" have  been accusing Trump  of.... “We already have overwhelming evidence that the president has committed impeachable offenses, including, just to name a few: obstructing justice; violating the emoluments clause; abusing the pardon power; directing or seeking to direct law enforcement to prosecute political adversaries for improper purposes...” And after conservatives criticized the congresswoman for her “impeach the motherfucker”   Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other top Democrats have long argued that impeachment is a last resort that would come at the end of exhaustive oversight and investigations. But on the second day of the new Congress, the news was jammed with talk of Rep. Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, who told a crowd of progressive activists Thursday night that “we’re gonna impeach the motherf---er.” Rep. Rashida Tlaib’s 2020 reelection campaign is looking to cash in this week on the recent wave of Democratic support for an impeachment inquiry against Donald Trump by selling T-shirts with the slogan “Impeach the mf.”The shirts cost $29, come in a variety of styles with a black or white backdrop, and take one to two weeks to ship to their destination. “You’ve asked for ’em. And now we’ve got ’em: ‘Impeach the MF’ t-shirts!” the ActBlue fundraising page selling the shirts for the Michigan Democrat reads. (2)>>Impeachment of an elected president. The country remains divided on impeachment. You might not be shocked that an NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll found 76 percent of Republicans don’t believe there’s enough evidence to merit an inquiry. Surprisingly, though, only 45 percent of Democrats — and 40 percent of independents — believe Congress should move forward with it. And while 42 percent of Democrats want Trump removed from office now, only 20 percent of independents do. A closed-door impeachment process isn’t likely to give Democrats in Congress the public trust they’ll need to remove the president from office with wide support if that’s what they hope to do.  In both the Nixon and Clinton impeachment inquiries, language in the resolution granted the minority party the power to subpoena, but with a caveat: subpoenas were voted upon by the committee, which meant the majority, in theory, had the power to block subpoenas proposed by the minority. The Republicans changed the rules in 2015 to prohibit the Dems from calling witnesses, while the Republicans conducted private depositions In their investigations. Now the Republicans have to live by their own rules! LMAO.  (2.1)>>SCIF. Around 10 a.m. Wednesday, a gaggle of conservative House members on Capitol Hill staged a “protest,” barging into the secure room — called a SCIF — where members of three House committees were preparing to hear testimony from Laura Cooper, a deputy assistant secretary of defense.(3)>>Trump-Ukraine in secret. I believe Trump’s convention with Zelensky was pretty standard stuff for US Presidents and NOT grounds for impeachment. Who remembers this classic live mic conversation between Obama and Russia’s.Medvedev “This is my last election … After my election I have more flexibility,”? Suggesting that presidents don’t use their position to gain advantage is naive at best.   I must ADD that I do question the methods used by TRUMP in opposition research . If the Democrats want to impeach Trump , they should look at Ethics rather than Collusion. Trump has out of stupidity , random acts of foolishness has violated Ethics , he should be censured by Congress .     (3)>>Chairman Adam Schiff .   Schiff is a notorious leakier and weasel-like hit man for Hillary the Democrats. He made sure her [ Hillary]  ‘insurance policy’ was cashed in and used to hurt Trump as much as possible.  Schiff constantly talked about Trump colluding with Russia when he knew full well that it was Hillary who did the SAME thing colluding. BUT the president said his lawyers should sue Rep. Adam Schiff, who is chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, and his Democrat colleagues."My lawyers should sue the Democrats and Shifty Adam Schiff for fraud!" Adam Schiff is just another James Comey.  Regardless, These people, who spent years telling the American people that the president of the United States colluded with a foreign government to steal the 2016 election from Hillary Clinton, Now they have found new material to re-spin , the Ukrainian story .(4)>>The president MIGHT be impeached but not REMOVED. From the VARY start it seems that the Democrats are not using the proper procedure against Trump . First we had the Mueller Probe that was a bit lopsided from the start . In the end Mueller fumbled over his words and could not remember what he wrote if he did . NOW it seems that the Democrats are looking to try again  to remove Trump , they are repeating the same mistake they did with Mueller . While support for Trump's impeachment is high among the Congressional Democratic Women out of the 228 in the House . Women seem to be leading the push with Nancy Pelosi to impeach Trump . Regardless of the Democratic move in the House , there is a serious problem that President Donald Trump continues to be backed by a seemingly unshakable core of supporters who deny he has done anything wrong and agree he is the target of a political "lynching," a new USA TODAY/Suffolk University Poll finds. Plus there are a fraction of Democrats like Jeff Van Drew who now appears to not be voting for Pelosi's Impeachment Bill . STRANGER STILL .  Trump might be "saved" from the wrath of the mob that exists next year . lengthy study released this week by the Public Religion Research Institute offers other clues about the current state of Trump’s relationship with white evangelical voters, as well as why it could change between now and Election Day. In striking terms, the survey captures just how substantial the president’s support is among white evangelicals: 99 percent of GOP-leaning white evangelical Protestants oppose impeaching and removing Trump from office and 63 percent say he has done nothing to damage the dignity of the presidency, separating them from majorities across all other major religious groups that said he has.

Trump's Syria Meltdown

Nancy 's & Trump's Meltdown
and the Missing Congress Women .

President Donald Trump on Wednesday night tweeted what he must have felt was an effective zinger against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. The two had been part of a meeting earlier that day on the withdrawal of US troops from Syria, which got so heated that Democrats in attendance ended up walking out. Pelosi told reporters the president had a “meltdown” and said “we have to pray for his health.”Later on Wednesday, Trump tweeted a photo of Pelosi chastising him at the meeting, calling it (1)>>“Nervous Nancy’s unhinged meltdown.”   For Trump the context was two self-inflicted wounds of conflict in the Middle East and the impeachment inquiry at home. The situation in northern Syria was rapidly deteriorating after Trump ordered the withdrawal of the US military, widely seen as a callous abandonment of Kurdish allies and the worst foreign policy blunder since the Iraq war. Washington remained gripped by House Democrats’ investigation, sparked by Trump pressuring Ukraine to investigate a political rival. BUT  Thanks to Donald Trump, American women have a fresh, iconic photo of Speaker Nancy Pelosi at the White House on Wednesday. Yes, its VARY REVELING . There she is, the only woman at a table of two dozen men. ALL the Congress women are missing 😮.The Trump vs. Pelosi episodes have led to some already legendary moments, but for all the wrong reasons. They're textbook examples of dysfunction that would be laughable if the stakes weren't so high, both for them and for the nation.
 I am having a Meltdown
BUT meanwhile, Pelosi has long served as a reliably sinister figure around whom he can rally his base. The thousands of replies to Trump’s recent tweet show there is still enough Pelosi-hate in the hearts of the right to indicate that the president and his strategists aren't totally off-base Of course the big story is out of Syria  & right now is  that Trump called  some of our troops out along the (1.2)>>border of Turkey to get out of Syria , now trying to take some of those lands and and there's been some bombing and of course our mainstream media is is running wild flipping out because the bombing by Turkey and the Lord I don't want to see anyone die I don't see any bombing I am for Peace obviously,  but why is this the one time our media are our Democrats are a lot of the Republicans suddenly care about civilians getting hit by bombs .Think of all this as a cult of bombing on a global scale.    (2)>>BUT it's  REALLY funny because we were bombing last week we get back in fact we drop a bomb every 12 minutes you don't see much of that do you you don't see that video on your screen every eight seconds about our bombs hitting it's only in this scenario when they're upset with Trump for pulling those troops out and by the way  that Trump is a maniac,  yes I'm not denying that but and perhaps he's done this the wrong way perhaps he shouldn't be doing foreign policy with Twitter.    On Thursday, the nightmarish torrent continued as the vice-president, Mike Pence, and the secretary of state, Mike Pompeo, brokered a five-day ceasefire in Turkey which was criticised for giving Erdoğan everything he wanted. Trump, meanwhile, cut the ribbon at the opening of a new Louis Vuitton factory in Alvarado, describing the French luxury brand as “a name I know very well. It cost me a lot of money over the years.”I agree however in this case you'll notice our mainstream media flipping out more than ever because troops are removed because US troops are leaving somewhere when did that ever happen I mean there's certain there's certain important things out about this Syria all right I'm not gonna get into all the details but the certain things that you will never hear in your mainstream media for one thing we don't know in Syria this is it the illegal invasion of ours that's why they're there in the first place right that's how our troops showed up their invasion of a sovereign nation (3)>>but that's never mentioned right now this is somehow ours like we own this area of Syria? ,  we don't and you know it. BUT CAN AMERICANS UNDERSTAND ???  YES I AM REPEATING SCRATCHING MY HEAD......Not to be sucked by the media propaganda , gonna get into all the details but the certain things that you will never hear in your mainstream media for one thing we don't know in Syria this is it the illegal invasion of ours  REPEAT AGAIN !!! , that's why they're there in the first place right that's how our troops showed up their invasion of a sovereign nation but that's never mentioned right now this is somehow ours like we own this area of Syria we don't and you know it says the title of this particular article is Syrian forces rushed into  U.S. void u.s. void , WHAT IS THE US VOID ???  SORRY it's Syrian country.  United States if you want to talk about an illegal invasion,  the United States is in Syria illegally.
Tulsi Gabbard and Hillary Clinton , the "warmonger".

I have been investigating the "origin" of the Russia -gate story for three years on my own .  I have always concluded it was started by Hillary Clinton to discredit the 2016 election win by Trump . The 2016 election circumstances, a continued focus on  alleged not so proven , yet redacted report on the Russian interference in U.S. politics and the ongoing House impeachment inquiry against Trump all add to the intensity of feelings for Democrats and Republicans alike So the Paranoia is so real , it would take one person to rip a good yarn . AND scapegoat the Russians so easily.  So Hillary goes full "conspiracy" !!! 😝 AS Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton said Thursday the Russians are currently "grooming" a Democrat running in the presidential primary to run as a third-party candidate and champion their interests.   (4)>>She ment Tulsi Gabbard on the sidelines of the 2020 presidential race.  What WAIT ! , just did you pick out what she just said ? First , she gave herself away . Not only is Hillary responsible for the Russia hoax , but she may be behind an [ her ] attempt of manipulating the 2020 election .The former secretary of state did not reference Gabbard by name in that conversation, but when was asked by NBC News this week to confirm Gabbard was her target, he replied: “If the nesting doll fits.” Gabbard responded on Twitter Friday afternoon to Clinton's comments."Thank you @HillaryClinton. You, the queen of warmongers, embodiment of corruption, and personification of the rot that has sickened the Democratic Party for so long, have finally come out from behind the curtain," she tweeted."From the day I announced my candidacy, there has been a concerted campaign to destroy my reputation," she added. "We wondered who was behind it and why. Now we know — it was always you, through your proxies and powerful allies in the corporate media and war machine, afraid of the
threat I pose.""It's now clear that this primary is between you and me". (5)>>IF ANY OF US remember that narrative that Donald Trump was a Russian agent began to make its way into the media — and throughout the Obama Intelligence Community — during the late stages of the 2016 presidential election, likely as a means to help candidate (6)>>Hillary Clinton secure her electoral victory by delegitimizing her opponent through the use of a black propaganda operation. Tulsi just got a boost in her ratings, thanks to Hillary's lame unfounded smear attempt. Tulsi handled it with class which speaks volumes of who she is as a person and as a candidate. Democratic presidential hopeful Tulsi Gabbard assailed Hillary Clinton for ‘having blood on her hands’ after the former Secretary of State claimed that Russia was grooming the congresswoman from Hawaii to be a third-party candidate.'Thousands of my brothers and sisters in uniform were killed in Iraq, a war that she championed,' Gabbard told Fox News on Friday.'Their blood is on her hands. That's why she's smearing my character and trying to undermine my campaign.' The feud illuminates two of the most emotional issues tugging at Democrats heading into the 2016 election: worries about Russian interference and the prospect of a third-party candidate who could siphon just enough voters to allow an unpopular Donald Trump to win a second term. Gabbard, however, has continued her criticism of Clinton and has used it as a way to rally her supporters.  In an Oct. 23 tweet, Gabbard told Clinton to "acknowledge the damage you have caused and step down from your throne." Gabbard tweeted that quote along with a link to a website for supporters to add their names to a list criticizing Clinton.

NOTES AND COMMENTS:
(1)>>“Nervous Nancy’s unhinged meltdown.”After the meeting dispersed, the White House tweeted a picture of Nancy Pelosi seemingly unloading on Trump. Trump called the moment a “meltdown” on Pelosi’s part, but others in attendance disagreed. Democrats after the meeting said it was Trump, in fact, who lost his cool, calling the Speaker a “third-rate” —or “3rd grade” depending on who you ask— politician.  However, “Nervous Nancy” is not what a lot of people saw in the photo. Instead, they saw a lone woman standing up to a roomful of men, giving them a piece of her mind. Soon, #PelosiOwnsTrump was trending on Twitter. The House speaker made the photo her Twitter cover image.Asked about the photo at a press conference on Thursday, Pelosi said that during the meeting in question, she’d voiced concerns about Russian President Vladimir Putin’s influence over Trump and his foreign policy. At the moment the photo was taken, she said, “I was probably saying, all roads lead to Putin.”(1.2)>>border of Turkey to get out of Syria.   The situation in Syria according to Turkish and Russian state media thereports on did not give full details of the plant meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin Turkish leader rice up te air Diwan and Hassan Rowhani of Iran but Russia's MTV broadcaster said theleaders will discuss the situationaround the so called de-escalation zonearound it live in Syria so that would bethe safe zone and the pending withdrawalof US troops from the war ravagedcountry ok this was in this was inFebruary says here the three countrieshave said they want a political solutionto end the seven-year war in civil warin Syria so this was not sudden turkeythey've known that turkey is going toset up this de-escalation zone or thissafe zone they've known this and so thisis not you know this whole the idea thatthis is a sudden you know these are liesthese are absolute lies in fact onething that's been driving me nuts as I'mwatching Western media's Western mediais saying the same narrative you knowthat this is the end this is massacrethis is terrible this is the worst thingever and look at Trump makes this decision and suddenly it's all the sudden war and death and destruction .    (2)>>BUT it's  REALLY funny because we were bombing last week we get back in fact we drop a bomb every 12 minutes . From Syria to Yemen in the Middle East, Libya to Somalia in Africa, Afghanistan to Pakistan in South Asia, an American aerial curtain has descended across a huge swath of the planet. Its stated purpose: combatting terrorism. Its primary method: constant surveillance and bombing -- and yet more bombing. Its political benefit: minimizing the number of U.S. “boots on the ground” and so American casualties in the never-ending war on terror, as well as any public outcry about Washington’s many conflicts. Its economic benefit: plenty of high-profit business for weapons makers for whom the president can now declare a national security emergency whenever he likes and so sell their warplanes and munitions to preferred dictatorships in the Middle East (no congressional approval required). Its reality for various foreign peoples: a steady diet of “Made in USA” bombs and missiles bursting here, there, and everywhere. Meanwhile, since Donald Trump has become president, after claiming that he would get us out of our various never-ending wars, U.S. bombing has surged, not only against the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq but in Afghanistan as well. It has driven up the civilian death toll there even as “friendly” Afghan forces are sometimes mistaken for the enemy and killed, too. Air strikes from Somaliato Yemen have also been on the rise under Trump, while civilian casualties due to U.S. bombing continue to be under reported in the American media and downplayed by the Trump administration.  (3)>>but that's never mentioned right now this is somehow ours like we own this area of Syria?Al-Tanf (Arabic: التَنْف‎), also known as "At Tanf", is a United States military base inSyria's Homs Governorate located 24 km west of the al-Tanf border crossing in theSyrian Desert. The surrounding deconfliction zone is located along the Iraq and Jordan–Syria border. On 7 August 2019, after months of negotiations, Turkey and the U.S. reached a deal to create a 115 kilometer buffer zone in northern Syria along the Syria–Turkey border between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers. Separate from Turkey's own occupation zone in northern Syria, the deal is partly implemented to prevent a potential future Turkish ground incursion into Rojava against U.S.-backed Kurdish forces. Under the framework of the deal, the U.S. and Turkey would conduct joint troop patrols and Turkish reconnaissance aircraft would be allowed to monitor the zone. Kurdish YPG and YPJ forces along the Turkish border would dismantle border fortifications and withdraw to a "security belt" alongside regular SDF forces and remove all heavy weapons from the area. In turn, Turkey would not conduct airstrikes or establish military observation posts in northern Syria and will not "occupy" the region, as administrative and civil rule will be relegated to SDF military councils and the Kurdish Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria. According to the SDF, the majority of the zone will not include any cities or towns. The buffer zone agreement was proven to be short-lived and collapsed on 7 October after U.S. President Donald Trump gave his approval of a Turkish ground offensive into Rojava and ordered the withdrawal of U.S. troops from northern Syria. The agreement was rendered fully obsolete on 9 October when Turkey launched a ground incursion into Rojava. In response to the offensive, U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham warned that he would "introduce bipartisan sanctions against Turkey if they invade Syria". He said he would also "call for their suspension from NATO if they attack Kurdish forces who assisted the U.S. in the destruction of the ISIS Caliphate".

Tulsi and Hillary.

(4)>>She ment Tulsi Gabbard on the sidelines of the 2020 presidential race. Earlier this month The New York Times' published an article entitled 'What, Exactly, Is Tulsi Gabbard Up To?' and noted her candidacy is supported by alt-right internet stars, white nationalists and Russians. On Tuesday morning, the morning of the debate, CNN political commentator Bakari Sellers had said: 'There is no question, there is no question that Tulsi Gabbard, of all the 12, is a puppet for the Russian government.' (5)>>IF ANY OF US remember that narrative that Donald Trump was a Russian .  The narrative that Donald Trump and Russia were trying to hijack the presidential election.Between July and October 2016, Clinton-connected lawyers, emissaries and apologists made more than a half-dozen overtures to U.S. officials, each tapping a political connection to get suspect evidence into FBI counterintelligence agents’ hands. The Clinton's used their $$$ and connections to get the FBI to investigate unsubstantiated dirt within the Trump campaign.Starting the Russia hoax .  They went so far as to send in an undercover agent and also to read campaign related emails. You think that's normal in a democracy? What is the matter with you folks? Yes...Hillary lost. The problem lay with the precursor tale to Russiagate, i.e. how Trump even got to be president in the first place. The 2016 campaign season brought to the surface awesome levels of political discontent. After the election, instead of wondering where that anger came from, most of the press quickly pivoted to a new tale about a Russian plot to attack our Democracy. This conveyed the impression that the election season we’d just lived through had been an aberration, thrown off the rails by an extraordinary espionage conspiracy between Trump and a cabal of evil foreigners.(6)>>Hillary Clinton secure her electoral victory. Excerpts of Clinton's remarks started to go viral after the release of Plouffe's podcast, but it is important to put them in context since some of the initial reporting missed some crucial context around Clinton's remarks. In the podcast, Clinton had talked about how "they've got their eye on somebody" in the Democratic primary and are "grooming her," followed by how "she's the favorite of the Russians." Out of context, it would appear that Clinton was referring to Russians "grooming" a candidate. It was obviously a mistake for Clinton to say what she did. She may not have used Gabbard's name, but she said that one candidate was "a favorite of the Russians," implied that she's an asset, and said that the candidate (clearly Gabbard), was prepping for a third-party spoiler run.

Syria U.S. withdrawal. and THE PG&E "Apocalypse"

It's time to get out of Syria , sorry all ye
war mongers .
Finally Trump has ordered the Troops out of  Syria . The sudden U.S. turnabout was announced late Sunday after a phone call between  (1)>>Trump and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. As criticism rolled in Monday morning, Trump defended his decision in a series of tweets, saying the U.S. had achieved its goal of defeating ISIS.   I agree , so what is all the hype that even Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) lashed out out at Trump. But that does not mean clearing a path for Turkey to attack the Syrian Kurds. The United States does not owe the Kurds indefinite protection, but they do deserve fair warning of U.S. withdrawal. right now so long story short besides the military-industrial complex obviously having their vice grip on our government and our media we[ THE UNITED STATES ] are illegal occupiers in Syria right now we have no permission to be there it is someone else's country we need to leave point-blank we need to leave . OK ,  say yeah but do we need to leave this abruptly no we don't but guess what this wasn't abrupt this is the time to leave because the announcement was actually made in December and I find it very interesting that the same very media outlets who were right now screaming saying wow this was abrupt and sudden and unexpected are the exact same media entities that reported back in December when Trump announced that we are going to be withdrawing all the 2000 troops from Syria , they all freaked out back in December and then Trump said okay I'll give it four months we'll do a slower withdrawal well it's been ten months so over the course of these ten months , the vary same media outlets have also been have been pushing for war in Syria , playing it both ways , praising Trump when he launched missiles to hit Syria. Now when he wants to send the troops out , challenges the "endless wars" that cost tax payer money, but he is attacked . Regardless, Perhaps most important, though little discussed in
(2)>>Washington, is that occupying Syria militarily, for whatever purpose, is a violation of international and U.S. law. The land is indisputably Syria’s and the Constitution requires Congress to authorize war. This War was "undeclared " by the US Congress from the start At the direction of U.S. President Barack Obama, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) was put in charge the operations worth about $1 billion annually to arm anti-government forces in Syria, Despite pressure to actively intervene against Assad, the Obama administration focused on aiding supposedly moderate insurgents, with little success. One program spent a half billion dollars to train fewer than threescore fighters. Radicals hid their views in order to receive arms from America; supposedly democratic forces fought with and sometimes surrendered to Islamists, along with their equipment.Indeed, Obama, entering office after Bush’s ruinous adventurism, made the avoidance of another quagmire his primary goal. Encouraged by national security aides who hailed from the realm of domestic politics,  (3)>>Obama let the fear of crossing antiwar opinion dictate his path. Yet in treading lightly, Obama misplaced his big stick using the Arab Spring as a avenue for regime change, Assad became an American target . But Obama faced a dilemma. The decision he was about to announce would come to be seen as a defining moment for his presidency. It also marked a tipping point for the international strategic balance of power. It was a moment that would transform the civil war in Syria into the epic failure of our age.  But even Mr. Trump’s biggest critics, the Democrats, will have a hard time going after him on this decision. So what is the problem with the Democrats ???Mr. Trump’s view that American forces cannot alter the strategic balance in the Middle East, and should not be there, was fundamentally shared by his immediate predecessor, Barack Obama. It was Mr. Obama who, at almost the exact same moment in his presidency, announced the removal of America’s last troops in Iraq — fulfilling a campaign promise. Which he was attacked by the pro-war elements in Congress . The foreign policy establishment is having a meltdown — and if you know anything about the last 20 years of U.S. history, then you know that means something good is happening.

THE PG&E  "Apocalypse

Almost 20 years ago PG&E was fighting against Illegal power diversion. costs PG&E more than $100 million annually, the company estimates. Every legitimate customer's utility bill is inflated $25 to $40 a year to pay for what unscrupulous ones steal. Things have changed now PG&E is pretty much doing illegal power diversion on its own. And rates will continue to go up. Just being a bit sarcastic. California is the only place that (4)>>I know of though that has planned outages for other than changing out equipment. We rely on electricity for uninterrupted service that it is easy to forget we need some kind of plan for its failure. I never lived any place where there were not multiple days without power. Hearken back to ENRON in 2003 which manipulated the energy market that caused a crisis in California , the blackouts forced a Governor out of office back then . (4.1)>>Similarly   It TURNS OUT that PG&E might have screwed themselves while trying a public safety stunt. NO BODY  completely trusts PG&E’s stated reasons for shutting off the electricity, hinting it might have something to due with the financial losses it’s incurred due to fires and litigation.   The apocalyptic power shutoff across California is a response to National Weather Service forecasts of gusty winds that could reach up to 70 mph in some areas by Thursday. High winds coupled with dry conditions and PG&E’s track record of downed power lines is a recipe for fire that the now bankrupt energy provider is trying to avoid. The shutoff is expected to impact as many as 800,000 customers across the state for up to five days. What gets me here is how the state of California kissed ass to the utility company allowing them to do the radom shutdowns , creating a "state of emergency" all in the name of being safe than sorry . It is FAR FROM A
PG&E held  California hostage .
JOKE with PG&E that this next year they are also asking the PUC for an additional increase in rates. AS far as the California governor goes his harsh words were weak  , plus this gave me the feeling that when the news briefings, updates by PG&E really showed the public how a (5)>>utility company is able to hold hostage the entire state  at the grip of fear.  BUT the shutdowns  brought out  more serious concerns about basics like food storage and traffic safety [Power outages have led to multiple car accidents in the North Bay at intersections without traffic signals. ]   as refrigerators and signals cease to do their jobs. Cities and counties are frantically establishing community resources to help the most vulnerable populations, like small children and elderly residents.  Things quickly began going wrong. PG&E’s communications and computer systems faltered, and its website went down as customers tried to find out whether they would be cut off or spared. As the company struggled to tell people what areas would be affected and when, chaos and confusion unspooled outside. Roads and businesses went dark without warning, nursing homes and other critical services scrambled to find backup power and even government agencies calling the company were put on hold for hours. The PG&E "Apocalypse" was like a zombie attack [ Night of the Living Dead] scenario. California is facing the bankruptcy of one of its vital electric companies. Since the wine country fires, PG&E’s stock has crashed by two-thirds. It faces tens of billions of dollars in liabilities. The company suspended its dividend at the end of 2017, leaving retirees and many thousands of others high and dry.Even more concerning: The world-beating electronics industry that drives much of California’s economy will suffer if electricity becomes less reliable, or unavailable.  (6)>>BLAME CLIMATE CHANGE  says PG&E Critics of PG&E, including some state lawmakers, have said that the company may have blacked out more customers than necessary to reduce the risk of wildfires. State Senator Jerry Hill, a Democrat from the Bay Area, sent a letter venting his frustration to the California Public Utilities Commission, which will review PG&E’s actions. While outrage was understandable; the lack of preparedness was not. PG&E had been warning for months that it might shut off power whenever high winds threatened to create extreme fire risks. So you might say it, that PG&E's  "Apocalypse" could be the new state NORMAL.

NOTES AND COMMENTS:

syria notes (1)>>Trump and Turkish President Recep Tayyip ErdoganWhile Europe has scant influence over what happens next, the US has plenty – but seems determined to throw it away. Despite denials, it is clear from the White House statement issued on 6 October that Donald Trump rashly agreed to Erdoğan’s invasion, without consulting his allies, and facilitated it by withdrawing ground forces. It might be thought the Russians would be happy. After all, pushing the US out of Syria (and the wider Middle East) is their long-held aim. Yet Moscow’s reaction to the invasion has been largely negative, as was the case after Turkey intervened in Syria’s Idlib province last year. When Vladimir Putin sent forces to Syria in 2015, he put his money on Assad to win, but victory has proved elusive, while costs – political and financial – have mounted. Erdoğan’s move further complicates matters by obstructing the peace settlement Russia, Iran (and Turkey) have been pursuing via the so-called Astana process. That’s why Russia is urging the Kurds, now the US has abandoned them, to agree a mutual defence pact or some kind of federal arrangement with Assad. And that’s why regime forces and pro-Iran militia are edging towards Kurdish-held areas from the south. Assad sees a chance to recapture lost territory. Erdoğan’s fatuous “safe zone” wheeze has no appeal for him. (2)>>Washington, is that occupying Syria militarilyAccording to Robert Ford, the last U.S. ambassador to serve in Syria, these critics fail to recognize the limits of American influence over developments inside Syria. Further, he advised that changing the facts on the ground would require a military and diplomatic investment that most Americans are not likely willing to make."I think the president is correct in saying that, in the end, the countries there in the Middle East—Syria, Turkey, Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Iran—they're the ones that are going to have to devise and negotiate a sustainable solution to the crisis in Syria, including eastern Syria," said Ford, who is currently a fellow at the Middle East Institute and Yale University."The idea that Americans are going to achieve that is not realistic," he explained. "Because the Americans don't even speak to two of the central protagonists, the Syrian government and the Iranian government, and the size of our military deployment is far too small to provide much diplomatic leverage."(3)>>Obama let the fear of crossing antiwar opinion dictate his path. To recap, the U.S. military first intervened in the Syrian conflict in 2014. Our goal was to destroy the Islamic State Caliphate, as the terrorist group had built up territorial control of much of the conflict-ridden region. Mission accomplished. The crisis has produced another cautionary lesson: that American alliances cannot be trusted. The Kurds already knew this. They were betrayed in Iraq in 1991, when the US left Saddam Hussein in power at the end of the first Gulf war. How ironic if Trump’s Syrian cop-out – providing a reality check about the limits of American power – led indirectly to peace in the Gulf, an end to the Iran-Saudi proxy war in Yemen, and spiked the guns of US and Israeli hawks who have pushed so hard for war with Tehran.

(4)>>I know of though that has planned outages for other than changing out equipment.Power outages are inconvenient at best and can be dangerous at worst, especially for people who rely on electricity to power medical equipment. The state told PG&E this week they need to better educate and notify the public, particularly vulnerable electric customers with disabilities, with language barriers, and who live in poorer, more remote areas with limited transportation or communication.Shutoffs can also be expensive, if a fridge full of food goes bad or if a PG&E customer now faces having to go out and buy a generator.(4.1)>>Similarly   It TURNS OUT that PG&E might have screwed themselves while trying a public safety stunt. The outside watchdogs have always been complaining about the poor safety practices of PG&E and that California is not being allowed to clean out dead brush and trees in its forests because the environmentalists will not allow it. According to a number of prominent safety experts and auditors, this calamity was bound to happen since the entity has not been managed well but the real issue is land mismanagement in California which has nothing to do with PG&E. PG&E has serious problems but California is the entity that has the most issues. Blaming things on some company when dead brush all over the state is not allowed to be burned or carried away is asinine. The actual fires may be out in California but this state is still burning away.(5)>>utility company is able to hold hostage the entire state .What PG&E has done to Northern California’s economy via endless construction work delays is worthy of pulling the plug and breaking the company up by itself, let alone the wanton destruction of property and lives. The construction charges are completely different than the rate cases. As such you’d think PG&E would staff accordingly given the fact the work is being paid for by those who need it done. The slick part is PG&E pockets whatever isn’t needed for taxes instead of refunding it to the developer. And in a number of years where PG&E has taken advantage of tax credits they successfully lobbied to attain for the expressed purpose of investing in infrastructure upgrades which they apparently weren’t doing on the scale they led people — including regulators — to believe, they pocketed the surcharge that can run as high as 33 percent that the California Public Utilities Commission allows them to collect to cover their tax bill. (6)>>BLAME CLIMATE CHANGE  says PG&E .  This is the result of 40 years of incompetent forest management. Fire the eco-hippies and get real foresters again. So once again "climate change" gets the blame, at least partially. PG&E has had years to plan out these outages. Turning off the juice for a large number of urban areas under the pretext that "wildfires" will be prevented is silly. Time to spilit grids up into likely danger zones. Perhaps it is PG&E petulance, "See, you sue us and you will sit in the dark." This time many people treated this as a one time virtuous community party event. "I made vegan entil soup, come one over and bring your candle." After a few more...
