No Bush , No Clinton . 2016 .

In 2016 . That's all the choice we have?
We all know and might  "guess" that in 2016 there might be a revivalist attempt to keep the old guard in the Oval  Office and hold Congress hostage after Mr. Obama leaves . Case in pint . Jeb Bush and Hillary Clinton . We don't need more dynastic politics in this country,  with a new Washington Post-ABC News poll showing five prospective candidates within four percentage points of one another at the top and a half-dozen more in the mix. In a hypothetical match-up, Clinton leads former Florida governor Jeb Bush — seen by many GOP establishment figures as the party’s strongest general-election candidate — 53 percent to 41 percent.  ( 2) .The Democrat's obviously want Hillary , their slowly trying to maker her regardless of her screw up with the Benghazi facade . The GOP is nothing but a hollow reed ,   a Republican party in such horrid shape it can't even come up with a Presidential candidate that can win a General Election. McCain lost, Romney lost and the GOP is even in worse shape going into 2016.  (1) .That's all the GOP has is Jeb Bush?  George H.W. Bush is not remembered by history as a very good President. He was elected because people wanted a third term of Reagan and couldn't even win a second term. George W's greatest gift to his family is being so bad as President the memory of his father's Presidency looked really good in comparison. It does not change anything better for Mrs. Clinton ,  Benghazi will take Clinton down. And now, finally, we have the real scoop thanks to Judicial Watch. They had to sue the government to get the emails about Benghazi and now the world knows what most of us knew all along!! Obama and Hillary lied to save their own necks. Obama and Hillary's lies have caught up with them.  “If it turns out to be Jeb versus Hillary we would love that and either outcome would be fine,” one top Republican-leaning Wall Street lawyer said over lunch in midtown Manhattan last week. “We could live with either one. Jeb versus Joe Biden would also be fine. It’s Rand Paul or Ted Cruz versus someone like Elizabeth Warren that would be everybody’s worst nightmare.” Thankfully former First Lady Barbara Bush said it right . " no more dynasties." Nearly 7 in 10 Americans agree with Barbara Bush: Political dynasties aren’t necessarily a good thing when it comes to presidential candidates. The findings are potentially bad news for Jeb Bush, as the former Florida governor weighs whether to follow his father and brother and run for the White House, and Hillary Rodham ClintonIn the poll, 50% of adults believe Barbara Bush’s point of view applies equally to Jeb Bush and Clinton. The former secretary of State, U.S. senator and ex-first lady has said she’ll decide later this year whether to run again for the Democratic presidential nomination.  There are dynasties gone wild. The electric fence is down and the cows are roaming all over. Finally there is Barack Obama.  His election has been a great historic milestone but by just about any measure, including his own, his presidency is ending in disaster.  For example, the rich have gotten richer and the poor have gotten poorer at a rate that would make an Eastern establishment Republican blush.  The Nixon administration spied on its enemies but the Obama administration spies on its friends too and on its own political allies in the U.S. Senate.  Having tried an “outsider” like Obama, the American electorate is now more likely to turn to an “insider,” a Bush or a Clinton.  Better to have someone who doesn’t have to learn on the job. We've all guessed it by now that our nation has been bought out All the nonsense just allows the puppet-masters to continue to do what's best for them at the expense of the American people while we're polarized and distracted. But, let's face it – Neither party is actually running our country – Powerful puppet-masters play both sides to make sure that they get what they want. Unfortunately what they want is not usually in the best interest of the majority of the American people

NOTES AND COMMENTS:
(1).  Jeb Bush might "appeal" for the Hispanic vote over Hillary .  He obviously has a wide appeal as a potential candidate. With a Mexican wife, and as a man who speaks fluent Spanish, he would be able to increase the Hispanic vote in the GOP column. On the other hand, many in the Republican base find his position on immigration untenable, and would fight him tooth and nail during primary season. He is also a serious advocate of education reform. His support of Common Core, however, will also find many who are in the conservative ranks objecting, since they fear that Common Core represents educational centralism and having the government ram federal standards down their throats. (2). Hillary Clinton also has obvious vulnerabilities: Benghazi, Benghazi and Benghazi for a start, followed by the “Russian reset” with which she is identified. And nationally, Hillary would do all she could to counter her negatives by resurrecting the charge that Republicans are “waging a war on women,” and by arguing that nothing could destroy their goal more than putting the first woman president in the White House.

America's Violence daily.

Elliot Rodger , spoiled rich kid got
the wrong message about
women .
It was obvious here in America that another mass shooting was going to happen . It's always has been "some rich white kid " - literally . Thinking back to the Sandy-hook shooting , it was also some rich boy with some kind of psychological problem who had access to guns , was technically well off in American society . It was not a  poor minority who went on a killing spree. Elliot Rodger, 22, the son of a Hollywood director. Elliot was no poor man son , he was  and just by looking at his (2) . Facebook postings  that He was living a high life , but his (1) . manifesto and published YouTube postings on "getting revenge" on women who rejected him , for one I don't feel sorry for him , because he was just another dumb delusional young man who could have gotten sex from any girl at anytime . Elliot ended his life after killing innocent people for no reason from a self inflected gunshot in the head . This  "act" speaks for American society at large , it show's  that gun control no matter how many laws are put out there won't stop a collage student from getting a gun . It speaks poorly of American society , sure that Elliot was seeing a psychologist , but I wonder if the feelings of loneliness were exasperated by the psychological system that was sent to monitor his behavior ? . You can brain wash anyone if you know how . What kind of drugs was he using just prior to the shooting? We may never know . Our society is manifesting some kind of insanity , as if (5). ( speaking as mind control ) were being used on some of the mass shooters . SIGNS of problems are also showing up with our law enforcement they are also shooting people down without any restraint The central (3) . California city of Salinas is being rocked with unrest and violence after protesters accused police of racism and brutality in the fatal shootings of three Latino men since March, including one captured on grainy video this week. Its vary hard apparently to  conceal what the suspect did , by all accounts Arming themselves with shears and gardening tools...... exposing themselves... using pellet guns as weapons....chasing people with knives... Not saying the shootings weren't justified - they definitely were not  -, but something sounds way  off. Are these people even in their right state of mind?  Between the suspect and police  I say that they did not know how to handle the situation, a good police officer would have shot the suspect in the leg , and not "emptying" multiple rounds into his body . We have a sick society that even those that have a badge on could be just as dangerous as Elliot Rodger the mass shooter , both the Salinas police , Rodger both are suffering from the same mental condition .
Police use excessive force , and kill .
(4). The guy was trying to walk away and they were getting bored or tired of walking after him. Bb, of course he should have done what he was told – because they had badges and guns. It doesn’t mean they can legally shoot him if he’s not threatening their safety. How is it that these officers were able to conduct a psychological examination to determine the competency of these folks before they shot them? Because anyone repeatedly ignoring an order probably has some other problems that don't deserve a death sentence. BOTH CASES SHOW that our society is crumbling . WE have mass shooters , we also have delinquent cops who don't much except using the gun for choice . America's violence daily is just the OLD WILD WILD WEST.

NOTES AND COMMENTS:

(1). he lives on in digital form due to online postings and videos, including a YouTube video titled “Elliot Rodger’s Retribution” in which he explains that he is wreaking vengeance on the hot girls of Santa Barbara because women had rejected him for 8 years, since he hit puberty. (2). Rodger’s Facebook page is full of selfies and photos of his rich but lonely life. There are photos of him, by himself, flying first class and attending a private Katy Perry concert, and with his parents, at the Hunger Games premiere in 2012; his father was an assistant director of the film. Friends are generally absent from the photos and make few comments; he likes many of his own photos, and is usually the only one to do so. He was obsessed with himself and with putting his opulent lifestyle on display, and Facebook was the perfect outlet for it. (3). Salinas had 26 Homicides in 2013, no one batted an eye... Business as usual. Cops kills man breaking into home attempting to hurt others city is in uproar... (4). More from RT news:“Witnesses disagreed with this version of events, though. Video of the event surfaced as well, with the female college student behind the camera saying the man looked like he was trying to back away from the officers the entire time.“In the wake of the shooting, police also stated the suspected robber was drinking heavily beforehand. They said the previous two shootings also involved individuals who were intoxicated at the time.“This detail did not seem to change the minds of many protesters on Wednesday, one of whom told local KSBW that alcohol use should not justify excessive and lethal police force.“So basically if you’re drunk here in Salinas you run the risk of getting shot by police and it just shows the lack of training … that they have to resort to lethal force all the time and kill civilians,” protester Ralph Garcia said. “That’s not right, we’re not going to allow this.”A second shooting death resulted when a protest occurred the following day: (5). A progressively more graphic depiction of violence in movies, television and music desensitizes people, especially young people, to real-life violence; and increases tension, anxiety and fear among older people who are encouraged to demand that government do something. By causing emotional stress and mental confusion, judgment is impaired and suggestibility increased. Under these conditions, people allow their rights to be diminished for the promise of security. There can be no doubt about the causal relationship between media violence and what is happening in cities and towns across the nation.

All the President's Men & Women.

President Obama picked the worst kind
of Cabinet since Jimmy Carter.
The VA "scandal" , by the way using the word "scandal" got me thinking on my blogging today about something that I have noticed over the years with President Obama . FIRST of all .  (1) I don't believe Obama to be a bad person . Sure he came to the Oval Office with good intentions , (3) . but Mr. Obama has surrounded himself with incompetent people who are getting him into hot water.  Eight or so  years ago, when it was clear that he would be the Democratic presidential nominee, Barack Obama famously declared that, if elected, he would want “a team of rivals” in his Cabinet, telling Joe Klein, of Time magazine, “I don’t want to have people who just agree with me. I want people who are continually pushing me out of my comfort zone.” His team of rivals , sure he choose the opposition . Hillary Clinton , Joe Biden,  etc .  President Obama has been getting  himself into too many embarrassments ,you have to thank the "political advisers " he as chosen , not  much all else that has taken place .  (2) The GOP has got him hook line and sinker on everything he does . Yes , I blame not as much Mr. Obama, but his extraordinary cabinet of fumblers who have made a professional man look stupid in the eyes of the public over the years.  The San Jose Mercury News posted a commentary by Victor Davis Hanson  today basting the Obama administration's  " Cabinet" is totally incompetent . Here I am quoting exactly what he wrote . Hanson names  former Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius promised before, during or after the implementation of the Affordable Care Act came true. She was also cited by the U.S. Office of Special Counsel for violating the Hatch Act, as she improperly campaigned for Obama's re-election while serving as a Cabinet secretary. He  blasts Susan Rice, former U.N. ambassador and now national security adviser, deceived the public on five TV appearances about the Benghazi catastrophe. She insisted that the deaths of four Americans were due to a riot induced by a reactionary video maker -- even though she had access to intelligence fingering al-Qaeda-affiliated terrorists as the culprits who planned the attack on the anniversary of 9/11. Rice recently blamed Obama foreign policy failures on domestic political polarization. But that is best described as the give and take of democracy and was once thought to be our foreign policy strength. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton left office with American foreign policy in shambles. She has been unable to make the argument that a single initiative -- reset with Russia, lead from behind in Libya, red lines on Syria, deadlines to Iran, complete withdrawal from Iraq, pressure on the Israelis, outreach to radical Islam and Latin American communist dictatorships -- had met with success. Clinton dismissed the lingering mysteries surrounding the Benghazi deaths with, "What difference at this point does it make?" She also refused, despite numerous entreaties, to place the Nigerian terrorist group Boko Haram on a State Department terrorist watch list. Eric Holder is the first attorney general to have been held in contempt of Congress. He always seems to find himself at the center of scandals. He permitted the federal monitoring of the Associated Press journalists. He green-lighted the Fast and Furious gun-running scam. He has failed to bring to account rogue IRS officials. Holder is the most morally compromised attorney general since Nixon appointee John Mitchell. Former Secretary of Energy Steven Chu left under a cloud of controversy involving crony capitalists getting millions of dollars in green loans that produced nothing but failed companies. Former top officials such as Timothy Geithner, Peter Orszag and Larry Summers have given new meaning to the revolving door between Wall Street and the White House. Hanson rightly calls it  politics trumped ethics "  Taken these considerations , Mr. Obama's worst enemies lie right on his doorstep , his Democratic party . I don't trust any of the Clinton's , sure they have a lot of political aspirations after 2016 . Sure enough democrats are going to put the bag on Obama ( sadly enough) .

NOTES AND COMMENTS:
(1) .  First, (as noted by Robert Farley), the presidency’s constitutional weakness extends deep into the executive branch. (2) . Republicans, poised for strong gains in the midterm elections, are offering starkly conflicting messages about President Obama to rally their voters. In one moment, they say the president is feckless and weak. But in the next, they say Mr. Obama is presiding over an “imperial presidency” that is exercising power that verges on dictatorial. (3 ). President Obama has never managed a business in his life.  Not even so much as a hot dog stand.  He has never competently managed anything.  Before becoming a Chicago politician, he worked as a "community organizer" (big deal!) making perhaps $12,000 a year. President Obama isn't quite what anyone had expected.  After only a few weeks in office, even some of his strongest supporters began to see (at last!) that he couldn't deliver on any of his grandiose promises.  The people who voted for "hope" and "change" are getting very little of either.

Honoring OUR VETERANS : Neglected.

Memorial Day around the corner . Now a new
scandal surfaces in the Obama Administration.
Time to fix it .
The saddest thing that been going on in our nation is lack of appreciation for our Veterans .  Yes, Memorial Day is approaching. One presidential administration after another has vowed to fix the embattled VA, which employs more than 300,000 men and women and is the second largest department in the federal government after the Pentagon. President Obama has even increased VA's annual budget to an all-time high of $150 billion. But VA’s health care system continues to worsen in more and more dangerous ways, severely undeserving the nearly 7 million veterans who rely on the network for care annually. Now it's come up to a new but scandalous hearing at Washington D. C.  (1)  The Obama administration, battling to tamp down yet another scandal, announced the resignation Friday afternoon of a top Veterans Affairs official amid mounting questions over patient deaths possibly tied to delayed care.  How can this be in America in the  (2 ) .age of making healthcare affordable ? The department initially placed a few officials on leave after reports emerged that up to 40 patients died waiting for care at a Phoenix facility. On Friday, as pressure mounted, the administration announced the resignation of the top VA health official, Under Secretary for Health Robert Petzel -- a day after that official testified alongside VA Secretary Eric Shinseki. We have failed our veterans. Shinseki was disgraceful in defense of his weak leadership. Our veterans are dying and we are allowing the problem to continue in their destructive roles. “It makes me as mad as hell,” said Mr. Shinseki. “I could use stronger language here, but in deference to the committee, I won’t.” We have all heard how "bad" the Canadian healthcare system if you were to compare as in horror stories , but this one is for the ridiculous . Investigations are proceeding at VA hospitals across the country as whistle-blowers step forward with tales of endless waits for veterans who need care at once. In a report last month, the Government AccountabilityOffice found that in a third of cases reviewed, it took up to 210 days for a patient to schedule a colonoscopy. In 4 of 10 veterans needing physical therapy, the wait was up to 152 days. Shinseki labeled possible links between long waits and veteran deaths as allegations, way back in 2010 The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has been severely criticized for the diagnoses of wounded veterans with a personality disorder, instead of PTSD, thus denying them disability pay and medical benefits. More than 22,500 soldiers have been suspiciously dismissed with personality disorders, rather than PTSD. By doing so, the military saves money in disability pay and medical care over the lifetimes of veterans. How many homeless veterans, discharged for personality disorders rather than PTSD, would be off the homeless roles if they had disability pay and VA medical care? In response, in 2010 the VA has issued new regulations liberalizing the evidentiary standard for veterans claiming service-connected PTSD   The new liberalized regulations may allow the VA finally to reach its stated goal “to provide excellence in patient care, veterans’ benefits and customer satisfaction.” Despite cries of “support our troops,” it is shameful that the U.S. can't  spend $1.3 trillion for ( Vets from all wars )  and counting in our Iraq and Afghanistan wars, but neglect our veterans at home continue to suffer.

What Obama 'knew'?

White House, as Press Secretary Jay Carney said President Obama knew nothing about the long wait times and deaths at the VA until he read about it in the newspaper.  The Obama administration received clear notice more than five years ago that VA medical facilities were reporting inaccurate waiting times and experiencing scheduling failures that threatened to deny veterans timely health care — problems that have turned into a growing scandal. Veterans Affairs officials warned the Obama-Biden transition team in the weeks after the 2008 presidential election that the department shouldn’t trust the wait times that its facilities were reporting. The briefing materials, obtained by The Washington Times through theFreedom of Information Act, make clear that the problems existed well before Mr. Obama took office, dating back at least to the Bush administration. But the materials raise questions about what actions the department took since 2009 to remedy the problems.

NOTES AND COMMENTS:

(1). Obama said on the campaign trail in 2008: "We cannot expect our young men and women to serve in our armed forces if we are not making sure that when they come home, they are getting the treatment they deserve," (2).  Many U.S. military veterans lack health insurance and are ineligible for care in Veterans Administration health care facilities. Using two recently released national government surveys--the 2004 Current Population Survey and the 2002 National Health Interview Survey--the authors examined how many veterans are uninsured (lacking health insurance coverage and not receiving care from the VA) and whether uninsured veterans have problems in access to care. In 2003, 1.69 million military veterans neither had health insurance nor received ongoing care at Veterans Health Administration (VHA) hospitals or clinics; the number of uninsured veterans increased by 235,159 since 2000. The proportion of nonelderly veterans who were uninsured rose from 9.9 percent in 2000 to 11.9 percent in 2003. An additional 3.90 million members of veterans' households were also uninsured and ineligible for VHA care. Medicare covered virtually all Korean War and World War II veterans, but 681,808 Vietnam-era veterans were uninsured (8.7 percent of the 7.85 million Vietnam-era vets). Among the 8.27 million veterans who served during "other eras" (including the Persian Gulf War), 12.1 percent (999,548) lacked health coverage. A disturbingly high number of veterans reported problems in obtaining needed medical care. By almost any measure, uninsured veterans had as much trouble getting medical care as other uninsured persons. Thus millions of U.S. veterans and their family members are uninsured and face grave difficulties in gaining access to even the most basic medical care. ~ source http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15932009

Michelle Obama and Nigeria .

What about the 500 Christian girls kidnapped
in Egypt?
In an unusual move First Lady Michelle Obama took the helm and did the Weekly Presidential address, U.S. first lady Michelle Obama on Saturday condemned the ***"unconscionable" kidnapping of the girls, saying in the White House weekly radio address it was the work of "a terrorist group determined to keep these girls from getting an education."  Mrs. Obama speech was about education , she expressed hope that events in Nigeria will inspire boys and girls across the U.S. to take getting an education seriously. "I hope that any young people in America who take school for granted, any young people who are slacking off or thinking of dropping out, I hope they will learn the story of these girls and recommit themselves to their education," she said. I don't know, but I am getting a mixed message here . Just what has those Nigerian girls who were sadly kidnapped ,  (2) sold into sexual slavery have to do with encouraging out American kids to stay in school? Yes, she condemned the girls kidnapping as a act of terrorism , but what bothers me is that Mr. Obama has said nothing about the violence , and  (4) Muslim extremism has has broken out in many parts of Africa that has erupted in the last few years . In essence half of Africa has sunk into  barbarism . While Congress bickers about the events in Ukraine , we have Senators like McCain talking sending troops into Ukraine , (3) our nation can't even sent not one foot solider in Nigeria . Altghough .The Nigerian government's inability to find the girls, who were abducted by the  (1 ) Boko Haram organization, has sparked worldwide outrage, including protests and a social media campaign. The U.S. and other countries have sent military and other experts to assist the government's search effort. President Obama has said the U.S. will do everything it can to help Nigerian authorities find them. The NEXT issue is why did it take so long? It has Benghazi all over it , "The White House has taken up the cause of the young women abducted by Boko Haram".  (5) .Yes, three weeks after it happened! And Michele made no mention of the underlying cause of the kidnappings - radical Islamists who believe that Allah says it's OK to enslave girls because they want an education. The same group also massacred 300+ people in a marketplace last week.  Another point - I don't see or hear Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton taking up the cause. Jesse, Al... they're actually enslaving black people. Where's your outrage? Amnesty International warned the Nigerian gov't about the planned attack and US intelligence didn't hear about it? Just amazing that Michelle Obama wants to pretend that she is a Diplomat to bring home the kidnapped girls in Nigeria while she remains quite about the 500 kidnapped girls in Egypt. Devoted Muslims in Nigeria and Egypt are kidnapping Christian girls and forcing them into prostitution, slavery, or converting to Islam since the Arab Spring ended. There has seen a spike in the incidents, according to a report by the non-profit advocacy group International Christian Concern. It has been reported by the ICC and other watchdog groups in the region.

NOTES AND COMMENTS:

*** You know-all this attention on the 100 Nigerian girls raises a question Mrs. Obama needs to answer:Why was this not an issue when the only victims were the fifty or so BOYS who were burned to death, shot and/or had their throats cut? Why does the US only care about females? It would be nice if the US stopped being only about "women's rights" and started actually addressing "human rights" abuses. (1). Boko Haram means "Western education is sinful." The group's leader, Abubakar Shekau, has claimed responsibility for the mass abduction and has threatened to sell the girls. Authorities have said more than 300 girls were kidnapped from their school in the country's remote northeast. Fifty-three escaped and 276 remain captive. (2) . If this is the kind of religion that America and the west were founded on--one that allows men to sell their daughters into sex slavery--then it is clear from any commonsensical standard of morality that the USA needs to stop looking back to its founding as a standard as to what should be now. It is beneath us.:+D (3) . President Obama has dispatched a search team of military advisers and law enforcement personnel to help find the girls. On Capitol Hill, lawmakers in both parties have condemned the kidnappings, and Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) said Friday the House would take up a resolution honoring the girls and act on legislation to combat human trafficking after it returns from a weeklong recess. (4) . In America we don't stone adulterers or homosexuals, we don't chop off the hands of thieves nor do we put out eyes. We actually permit women to drive a car, vote, and walk the streets without a male relative present. Saudi Arabia only outlawed slavery in 1962, 100 years after America. But we are the bad guys? (5). These girls were abducted on April 14. Why has it taken so long for the hollywood elities, Mr and Mrs O, and other famous and important people to show outrage and offer help?

California 's king : Jerry Brown .

Who is going to dethrone King Brown ?
Can it be true , that California will re-reelect Jerry Brown for a 4th term? On May 4th the  San Jose Mercury News ran a front page article on Brown . " His Game , His throne" awkwardly portrait of Brown wearing a king's crown . ALL else Gov. Jerry Brown may have broken the law on the  (2)statute of limitations on how many times the same governor can be sent back to Sacramento . Jerry Brown already is California’s oldest-ever sitting governor. There is another on going problem in California besides having Brown in the seat , for off he is a throw back from the 1960's , The State's GOP in in tatters since Schwarzenegger left in 2010 . ( 1)  The party in California and elsewhere is torn between supporters who want to steadfastly hold to conservative principles and those who want to take a more moderate, pragmatic approach that could resonate with a broader cross section of voters. There is a secondary problem that Jerry Brown has not addressed , that is that manufacturing / businesses are moving out of state  ( into sates like Texas ) *** Long-term, having really high-ish taxes coupled with an even higher cost of living, worthless levels of infrastructure, farking NIMBY's and environmentalists blocking any attempt to fix the infrastructure, some long-term pension issues driving poorer cities into repeated bankruptcy, a giant farking list of semi-useless bureaucracies, and 34% of this country's welfare recipients is a bad idea because the weather is only so nice.  And that's only partially balanced out by Hollywood, Silicon Valley, and the ports. ## They're possibly farked in the next recession, because 1%-ers take bigger hits to their income than everyone else (especially since SF seems to be trying to pop Silicon Valley).  Mind you, I like progressive taxes, you just have to keep that in mind.  I could totally see a scenario where a recession wipes out the budget, they raise taxes (again) to keep up with it, track spending to the "new normal" during the recovery, repeat indefinitely or until Reagan rises from the grave and restores sanity (and at that point, they would truly be insane).  But Jerry seems to be trying to actually use Keynesian Economics by hanging on to that surplus, so they've got that going for them. I really can't see Jerry Brown being defeated by a GOP contender , for myself I would wish that he was , but the polls show that 59 percent approval rating among registered voters is nearly identical to the 57 percent of likely voters who would vote for him in June. His closest competitor, Republican Tim Donnelly, trails Brown by 40 percentage points, according to the poll. Yes , Gov . Jerry Brown's approval rating is higher than Gov. Chris Christie , or even President Obama's . While the Republicans struggle to make an impression on voters, Brown has been on their ballots for decades. and if he wins re-election he will be the only California governor ever elected to four terms.

NOTES AND COMMENTS:

***California Budget Surges to Record High .The governor's budget proposal for the 2014-15 fiscal year dedicates $11 billion to paying down debts and liabilities, including $6 billion in payments that had been deferred to schools and nearly $4 billion to pay down the so-called economic recovery bonds left over from the administration of Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.  ##. The  one-party Democratic rule does not have to mean freewheeling spending. Brown is tightfisted; always has been. Democrats own this state. And if, through Brown, they can raise taxes and curb public-employee excess — as Brown is attempting to do — they present a serious rethinking of the D brand. (1) .But there’s a difference: Jerry Brown.  Governor Moonbeam, the Zenmeister, Linda Ronstadt’s arm candy, yes, yes, we know.   But in fact Brown may be the most astute Democratic politician currently holding office.  Not only did he handily defeat the smarmy billionairess and maid-abuser Meg Whitman with a low-budget low-tech campaign, he has completely turned public opinion against the core conservative memes.  Over the past couple years, Californians had happy feet for the Tea Party babalu of slashing budgets and not raising taxes on the rich.  (2). The California government limits their governors to no more than two four-year terms. This "raises" the question that if Brown has a forth term , is it possible for Arnold Schwarzenegger to run for a 3rd term?

America's Double "speak".

Protests at Live Oak High School over the
American flag , freedom of expression is
being challenged along with freedom
of speech .
IN the AMERICAN system we seem to have a list of words that YOU CAN' T use or else YOUR A BIGOT . If your "white" you will fall under that category , get a label . OK , I know that you can't say "fire" in public in a building , or something like that .  ( 2) You can't say the " F" word and let alone the " N" word . So the letters in between F & N are a bit far apart from the usual language with out insulting ANY ONE!  American society now considers expression of thought to be significantly more important than action…. This is the thought police at work. Feelings matter more than action. Words matter more than harming others.  People these days seem to get "upset" so easily that if you engage in a conversation , and you get mad , and say something your sorry later , you just might be led away in a paddy wagon followed by paparazzi . ( 4)  I know that the average white American might deserve this impediment because "past" actions . (1)You can't expect to stop a gangster rapper from not using the N word because he grew up with it's shadow . Nor can't you say anything against Gays , and yes they have an"F" word as well that you can't cuss in public either . Things however are getting ridiculous , Now that we’ve been appropriately and politically correctly subdued, word Nazis are going to take it quite a few steps further. Here are the top ten words and phrases you can’t use anymore in “polite conversation:”1. Ghetto. As in “That neighborhood is so ghetto.”2. Crazy. “You’re crazy”3. Girl. Apparently if referring to adult women.4. Gypped. This comes from the word “Gypsy.”5. Wuss. Since this means the person is effeminate or doing something effeminate, it’sverboten 6. Lame. Originally it meant crippled, er … handicapped … or “Differently Abled.”7. Derp (this appears to be a term to mean something dumb, from “South Park”)8. Spaz. I guess people who twitch a lot, or are spastic, might be offended.9. Handicapped. The PC Police made up this Recently  Great Britain. British politician Paul Weston was recently arrested because a campaign speech he gave contained quotes from Winston Churchill on the reality of radical Islam. Specifically, he was “arrested on suspicion of religious or racial harassment.” (You can read the “hateful” Churchill quote here. ) IT get's worse , besides not using certain words that might offend certain people , or groups . You can't no longer show love for your country , the American flag is being "outlawed" in certain public places as well because it offends certain  minorities .  (3) Via The BlazeOfficials at a Northern California high school acted appropriately when they ordered students wearing American flag T-shirts to turn the garments inside out during the Mexican independence celebration Cinco de Mayo, a federal appeals court ruled Thursday. The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said the officials’ concerns of racial violence outweighed students’ freedom of expression rights. Administrators feared the American-flag shirts would enflame the passions of Latino students celebrating the Mexican holiday. The author of Animal Farm, George Orwell also predicted this special treatment for any group or individual who will claim to be offended. Live Oak High School, in the San Jose suburb of Morgan Hill, had a history of problems between white and Latino students on that day. How did we ever get to a place where school administrators would allow the passions of students celebrating a Mexican holiday to be more important than celebrating pride in America? They anticipated the bullying of the majority by groups of the “oppressed.”  After all Cinco de Mayo is NOT an American holiday. at least last time I checked! The fear of words is rational because words are powerful. But censorship is generally the response of irrational fear by powerful people. Censorship is one of the tools of powerful people or groups. History is replete with tyranny-censoring criticism, for censorship is the tool of fear: fear of ideas; fear of truth; fear of words.

NOTES AND COMMENTS:
(1) Taking care when choosing the correct word in a different language is one thing (“negro,” for the record, is the word for the color “black” in Portuguese), but what happens when your political or religious views prevent you from speaking, for fear of retribution? What happens when having a different point of view suddenly becomes considered “hateful?” (2) Honestly the "F" word and " N" word are offensive.Curiously back in the 1960's & 1970's there was a "campaign" in public schools, media to try to eradicate the word . Shamefully today the "F" word has gotten a social footing in almost every publication , and is appearing as if it is no longer slang . Feminist's are also using the word more than any other group . The "N" word soon will be more socially acceptable like the F word because of rap music permeating our society . (3) Public schools are allowed to limit students' expression of free speech if they can come up with a good enough reason. Sometimes that means controlling what goes in the school newspaper. Sometimes it means suspending a kid from wearing a Pepsi T-shirt on the day that Coca Cola executives visited the school. Here, it meant preventing a kid from wearing a t-shirt that, in the eyes of the school, could have lead to violence. (4). In regards to the Couch Sterling story , in my last post I was trying to decimate how  figures of speech is being misread  by the media . I am sure that Couch Sterling use of the word " black" sent a fire storm and allegations of " racism" . Can't be possible that in our American society that we are developing into some kind of totalitarian regime that "censors" speech because it is going to offend  certain individuals . I have noted that Couch Sterling did use not use "N" word in the private conversation with his girlfriend . I don't think anyone said dismiss the comments, but stop acting like he has committed a crime. It is not a crime to be stupid and say stupid things - whether those stupid things offend black people, Jewish people, gay people, or cats. We can all disagree with something someone else said, but we cannot make it criminal and take away his property because we disagree.  I listened to the TMZ recording enough this afternoon to say that the whole conversation is being misread , and read in the wrong way . Sterling's girlfriend seems to be the one goading the conversation toward race. You know I am getting sick of how our American society is trying to please everyone ,with out offending,  Use of the term “black” dates to the 1960s and 1970s and the civil rights movement. The Black Power movement advocated strongly for the use of “black” to replace the outdated “negro,” and many Americans of African ancestry started to embrace the term. Others preferred “Afro American,” an early blending of “African” and “American.” In the 1980s, “African American” began to see common usage, and the term quickly became very popular. The argument for saying “black” is that it is a term which refers purely to skin color, recognizing the fact that people from Africa come in a variety of shades and hues. Using “black” also allows people to distinguish between Americans with slave ancestors, who may not have a close connection with Africa, and recent immigrants from Africa. This term also includes Americans of slave ancestry who immigrated from the Caribbean, as these individuals may feel more closely connected to places like Haiti or Jamaica than Africa.

Benghazi's Ghost.

All in one night . Pres.Obama sounded
like  George D Bush .
Benghazi is coming back to haunt the White House . I think that there is no way out of it for the President and to hide from it  , there is so much about it on the internet that the President Blamed the Benghazi attack on the Anti-Muslim video.  there are videos of Mr. Obama and Mrs. Clintion on TV making apologies to the Arab world during the so called "Arab Spring". The Obama administration spent $70,000 in taxpayer funds airing an ad on Pakistani television. At the time, the administration was making the claim that the Benghazi terrorist attacks were caused by protests against an obscure anti-Islam film released on YouTube. They not only spend money to lie but they really put the scapegoat video guy in prison. Imagine USA, home of the 'free', had an innocent political prisoner just for exercising his rights. What they did to him is beyond criminal. For days after the attack, as it became clearer that the Benghazi violence was a Qaeda operation rather than a protest, White House officials continued to stress the importance of the “hateful” and “disgusting” video, and its supposed role as a catalyst for what (4)  Susan Rice, the ambassador to the United Nations, insisted was a spontaneous attack , by everyone from Rice to Hillary Clinton to the president himself. (2) When Obama spoke at the United Nations shortly after the attacks, the video was referenced six times in the text; Al Qaeda was referenced only once. it will always be evident in retrospect that mistakes were made. Either security should have been increased, or the ambassador pulled out.  (3) House Speaker John Boehner on Friday declared he would schedule a vote to create a select committee to investigate the Benghazi attack, escalating a political battle that has raged since the final days of President Barack Obama's re-election campaign.Boehner said U.S. officials misled the American people after the Sept. 11, 2012, assault on the U.S. diplomatic post in Libya that killed Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans. He said emails released this week showed the White House has withheld documents from congressional investigators and asked, "What else about Benghazi is the Obama administration still hiding from the American people?" Republican senators on Friday put pressure on (1)  President Obama to confirm his whereabouts during the night of the Benghazi attack, after an ex-White House spokesman revived the debate by telling Fox News he was not in the Situation Room. Obama and Clinton scored a trifecta, misfeasance, malfeasance and nonfeasance, all in one night.

NOTES AND COMMENTS:
(1). 1. What exactly was Obama doing during the attack and murder of four American citizens?2. What were Hillary Clinton’s responsibilities, and how did she execute them?3. Who prevented the military from executing a rescue attempt? At least to me, all other issues pale in comparison.I suspect that Obama was sleeping- resting up for his trip to Las Vegas.I suspect that Clinton was flustered by the event and had no clue what her duties were or what she could do to help, and, therefore, was simply “absent" , her "resignation" is evidence of some guilt..I suspect that Panetta was responsible for preventing any military action, with or without the knowledge and consent of Obama. (2) . President Obama stuck to the disproven narrative and still blamed the attack on the video when addressing the United Nations on Sept. 25, a full two weeks after the attack. In fact, the attempt by the president to blame the video may have begun while the attack was still underway. It has been reported that at about 10 p.m. in Washington on Sept. 11, 2012, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Obama spoke on the telephone, and shortly afterward, the State Department issued a statement from Clinton blaming the video for the atrocity in Benghazi. (3) . Mark my words... There will be nothing come of this "investigation". It is a fabrication meant only to serve as another bone to throw to the American people. It's sole purpose is to serve as a pacifier, to placate us into the belief that we actually have genuine representation in Washington. How Convenient! And just in the nick of time before the upcoming mid-term elections. John Boehner, along with the rest of his cohort RINO ilk in Congress are as much a part of the root cause of this Nation's problems as the current administration is. In every regard. If the American people are stupid and gullible enough to put their faith in what we currently have as our nation's governing body... that being nothing more than a mere semblance in name only of what once stood watch over our great republic... then we as a nation truly deserve what we currently have. (4). Mr. Obama’s team altered the official talking points given to then-U.N. Ambassador Susan E. Rice (now Mr. Obama’s subpoena-proof national security adviser) for her appearances on five talk shows on Sept. 16, 2012, where she spewed total nonsense.
